Some facts about cinnamon:1- it's dried bark of Cinnamomum zeylanicum trees Family: lauraceae
2- it contains many active constituents but the main one is cinnamic aldehyde in addition to tannins and mucilages
3- it's used medicinally as hypotensive agent due to vaso-dilating effect of cinnammic aldehyde , it's also used as astringent due to tannins and of course as condiment and spice

Quick tip: It’s good to pull out every once in awhile to release more of what your trying to bore when going deep like that. It also helps keep your drill bits as sharp as possible. I liked this video though. Very cool 😎

The jar looks great, and I'll bet the shop smelled amazing after all that work, but is the jar food-safe? I assume you're using it as (or selling it as) a cinnamon jar? Too bad about the sheared bit; thankfully there were no major consequences.

Just an absolutely beautiful piece. I must admit, at first, I was skeptical of your placement of the cinnamon sticks. But, in the end, it doesn't even matter(🎵😉🎶).
    Perfection, sir! 👌

I was skeptical too, thinking it'd be a waste of cinnamon. But the result is haunting, surreal, otherworldly -- which is not how we usually describe jars. Very cool piece!
