Thank you for showing us your very nice set of saws. I use the 8 pin myself on an old 064. I like the 8 pin better. The 500i you got was rabbit hopping like hell in that oak tree. You know you're sharp when the saw does that! I really love the videos. You get into stuff alot of folks dont really know. Definetly able to articulate it better than i. Keep up the great work and have a great rest of the week.
Great to see thank you I really enjoy your videos. Found the first ones I watched as I was looking for 592xp videos and have now watched all of your videos. You really do make a lot of sense. Thank you.
Definitely an interesting perspective and it makes sense when you take the time to explain it! Its a huge compliment in my opinion for someone with your experience to say that the 592 is dam near perfect!
Nice group of saws there, ive always been husqvarna guy and have ran the older stihl saws when i was a firefighter/sawyer and they were an ok saw dependable as one can be in the hot dirty environments we were in,but that 500i has impressed me so much i got two now one stock and one ported and its the saws i run mostly now due to the power to rate ratio especially now that ive got older and had a broke back and neck twice every lb of weight adds up quick now,i still like the 592xp but mostly run them 500i,great video
@Good.Fellers yep I still hurt at all time but not as bad as I've been running that 500i i can make it to the truck at the end of the day alot better than I could running the heavier ones,I still love husqvarna but I think stihl has done great things with this saw,if they could do better on the air filtration is the biggest but I run foam filers on mine anyway so I took care of that first thing when I bought mine.
My boss who did hand logging in pa said he used 372 all day with a 20 inch bar when I said I use the Stihl equivalent with a 28 inch bar he called me some words saying the bar is too much to manage in the wood lot. Loved that guy he used the old Timberjack 240. Now the company I work for does mechanical logging cutting the junk wood here in pa
I'll be curious to hear your comparison between the 592 and ported 500. My guess is the power should be pretty close with the 500 being lighter and maybe less torque.
Holy shit you got a face ,, nice ! lol for a couple years now I’ve only seen the black lid. On a side note hopfully in 2025 I’ll just be working our own farm and I’ll be looking to travel a week here and there to work for people I respect , I’m east coast and have been cutting timber for no less than 25 years but was never taught your style of falling, I’ll limb and buck 12 hours a day 5 days a week maybe when the time comes as you need some extra help here and there for a week or so we can work something out. Great vid and Godbless
I think it’s because there’s no big channel that’s falling hardwood trees all the time, biggest channel I know of is called “is woko” he does an awesome job cutting just like you do, Cept he’s not in US
Love the collection of saws!
Yeah, those saws cut a lot of trees.
Congrats on 18k..I do this shit all week and you got the best channel for the business
Thank you!

@ doing well Sir, thanks! always a pleasure to watch one of your video’s. 👍😎
Damn! That 3120 is huge sitting next to the 395. Nice collection of saws. Stay safe out there.
Thank you! 3120 is ridiculously large.

I’m glad you’re enjoying the channel. Enjoy the 592, there wonderful saws.
Definitely an interesting perspective and it makes sense when you take the time to explain it! Its a huge compliment in my opinion for someone with your experience to say that the 592 is dam near perfect!
Yeah, it’s awesome, it’s rare to say but I don’t think there’s much to improve on it.
@Good.Fellers be interesting to see if they make a mark 2 cause both the 550 and 562 mark 2's are definitely impressive saws!
@mattlynch2823 we’ll have to wait I guess
But it would be interesting
@Good.Fellers if the engineers at Husky were to ask you, would you say maintain power while decreasing weight
@mattlynch2823 aside from making saw lighter I don’t think it needs anything
And honestly it’s light for what it is
Great video!
Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed it

Yes, that 500 surprised me. It’s so light, and after a lifetime of beatings it’s pretty nice to run.
Yeah, I’m probly going to get an aftermarket filter as well.
Awesome content!
Glad you liked it!

We got a 372 on the job..I like carrying it on real steep ground but running the 592
I don’t know the 20” bar isn’t going to get the middle of my trees. I would be pulling plugs constantly.
@caseyc4516 I like 592
If you want another ported 500 I check out aaron lynch his 500i are caged animals
I'll be curious to hear your comparison between the 592 and ported 500. My guess is the power should be pretty close with the 500 being lighter and maybe less torque.
That 500 is pretty gnarly. It’s similar in power to 592 and it’s actually got a lot more torque than I expected.
Nice video Feller, don’t know about the Stihl’s yet but it looks very aggressive.
Almost aggressive as me. Lol
Your content is bang on really enjoy it
Good deal, I’m glad ya like it.
I’m glad I’m not crazy concerning the 500i. Just seems like a different animal.
Dude, that saw is awesome.
I agree with cutting with top of bar its way easier to me
Right on
Did you ever run the 390xp? I think it's an 88cc or so.. I was told it's a killer saw!
Knew a guy that bought one his words were “ it ain’t no 395”
That’s all I know of them.
That 3120 is great in tree work for giant silver maple stump cuts, imo. I cut in Indiana and like seeing Midwest hardwood cutting. 🙌🏎️🏁
Yeah, it’s got some uses just not cutting timber. As a hardwood timber faller it’s too heavy.
I’m glad you enjoy the channel.
@@Good.Fellers agree

That sounds great. I’m always looking for good honest help.
Love the content and I'm not a logger.
I’m glad ya enjoy it.
