I studied with Barry and even tuned his piano more than once here in Rome but I never found anyone that could explain his concepts better than you in English here on youtube, I finally feel I can put in practice his chords and scales without being overwhelmed! Thanks 🙏
You can use the C6 diminished scale as well. Then you have to be on a note from the diminished chord on the down beat (d,f,ab,b) when playing over (II) and (V) (Dm7 and G7) and then change your downbeat to a note from C6 (c,e,g,a) when playing over the (I) (C6). But, sure, it's totally possible both ways.

A little confusing since you kept saying major 7th when you meant dominant 7th but overall this was an interesting lesson.
Noted! I'll try to remember!!
