Wow! Your video's have me jumping up and down inside! I'm so excited to find someone speaking in a language and level that is just what I've been looking for! Thank you so much for sharing!
beautiful lesson.. then done by you... let's not talk about it ☺️, here we really need a fairly advanced harmonic knowledge I would say. everything is clear as you explained, there is only to put into practice 😀💪
Ahh yes the classic D7sus4(b9) chord. I’m going add this one into my repertoire as soon as get the hang of moving my left hand at the same time as my right.
This is a quick snapshot of a rather advanced technique, so not too surprising that it's confusing. First you should understand the concept of _Scale Tone 7ths._ Which is using tones drawn from a major scale to create 4-note chords. There's a ton of stuff on RUclips so I won't repeat it here. Then there are two scales attributed to the late great teacher, _Barry Harris._The first is just a major scale with an added b6. The other is just like it but with the 3rd flattened. And when you apply the Scale Tone 7th approach to these scales, magic happens. Again, a ton of stuff on this. Also Barry created lots of other fascinating techniques which I invite you to look into. Hope that helps.
Excellent! Thanks a lot. Correct level. No nonsense like explaining what a minor chord is.
All musicians will thank you for this video. Thank you
these chords give me the best sound of letting me feel like im a deserted man in an old bond movie at the bar drinking my whisky:D
Another great video, LP. I just played around with this for a while and I can tell I'm going to have a lot of fun around the Cm6 + Ddim
That's the important thing! Just play around with it and have fun, then the music will guide you.
Happy you found it helpful!!

Actually there are four B.H diminished scales, minimum. But I guess it doesn't make things less complicated to know that 😂
