      Love all variations but blue is king ;) The rich blue shines like a champ in the sun and is more understated in lower light. Lots of other watches to get in white and black dials. Mine is worn on a 3mm Staib Milanese which is perfect for this watch. Cheers

    I've been collecting Seamasters for a few years now, off and on. They are a great value for what you are getting. To me the SMP (no matter the color or strap option) is a no brainer. Love Omega and Omega content 😎 cheers!

    • @jasont4783
      @jasont4783 Год назад +2

      @@scottslappey6802 you can get AR scratches on the watch face, but in my experience you really need to give the face a good shot for it to show a mark. Even then you will only see the scratch in certain light, it hasn't been obvious nor will it hinder you from reading the watch. Overall I'm a big Seamaster fan and happy with my collection.

    One thing people underestimate is that the “grey dial” is actually the most dynamic of all the seamaster dials in different lighting situations and also has a sunburst effect.

    Great review. I absolutely agree that rubber is the most comfortable and versatile out of the bands. And also, the black diver at 5:40 is by far the best one out of the 3. It's the most classic and versatile, you can wear it with any outfit and it'll still make it's presence known without being too obnoxious. It's just the perfect man's watch.

    My two favourite Omega Seamaster diver 300m. 1/ Black and Sedna Gold Diver 300m in black rubber strap. 2/ Green with green rubber strap.
    Omega Seamaster Diver 300m are great diver watches, great ceramic dial……but do sift through the right variation case and strap for you. Personally I think Omega make some great Diver watches, but not great watch bracelets. Go an Omega diver in the right colour combination with the rubber strap….

  • @brett233
    @brett233 2 года назад +5

    The white on a nato looks the best. But I’m a subtle person so I’d go black dial and I think the thick rubber would help balance the watch head best on a small wrist so that would be my combo!

    Pulled the trigger last week on the Black dial version. Compared the watches with black, white, blue, grey, and green dials in the store. I have a white dial watch and didn’t want another. The grey and green dials didn’t sway me. However, the blue dial is pretty awesome. It is a very strong color and to me isn’t clear how stunning the dial is until you see it in person. I decided to go with the black dial because it is not as noticeable as the blue.

The blue hands really pop on this one, although the chrome is quite plain looking in the wrong light. This one went too, then I picked up the blue dial on rubber and missed the black so much I bought that one again on rubber. There is no right or wrong choice, the black dial certainly pops against the white hour markers and is my favourite, but I feel the blue is the more versatile for day to day casual wear. I could see myself selling the blue to get the green next.

    Does anyone know how much an official rubber strap on its own costs in the UK?

    I have two: the NTTD, and the SMP 25th anniversary (the tri-tone). Same model, but two very different vibes.

    A single pass Zulu/nato would help the thickness. I also feel natos elevate the case too much. Still have them but it's a pet peve so I don't wear them much.

    I'm a pro photographer of over 30 years. I'm a watch fan as well. I'd never wear such a beautiful watch on one of my nature landscape trips. I'd definitely wear a G Shock for that. I'd cry when the crystal of my Omega would be ruin by scraping the side of some granite mountain side.

    All of the colors, blue in particular , would look better with a black bezel. When I'm ready to purchase mine, I'm choosing the white dial.

    I own the white one but almost purchased the grey version instead. The grey is really beautiful but the white is much more versatile. The green is cool but more of a statement piece. I don't care for the black or the blue.

    Superb info, thanks very much 👌I’m currently debating with myself over whether to get the black dial on a bracelet/strap, which I could buy tomorrow; or wait another six months to save for the Rolex Sub 126610LN from my AD who I’ve been buying from since 1997, and is just waiting for me to decide. 😩 What would you say? My first ever Swiss watch was a Seamaster and I’ve had a couple of Rolex models too. Both powerhouses, so not easy to choose!

    naw man you gotta have the ones with sedna gold or gold or all gold seamaster300m, having them all next to each other people will see how important it is to have some type of gold on your expensive watch instead of just simple metal.

    I have the green. Definitely not a bright eye catching green. In most light it’s more of a dark grey green and sometimes it looks black. Only in the brightest light does it really show it’s true green. The omega photos are super misleading. I love it and I wouldn’t want it super bright green. I like the more subdues take on the green.

      @@ChisholmHunterOfficial I love the white (may end up adding one), but I wanted the blue for 25 years. It was the first true luxury watch I bought and after owning it two years, love it just as much as ever. Wearing it today for my birthday, actually.

    Great video, but darn it... I went into this set on the Bond blue on bracelet, and now I'm even more conflicted! The black/black on any strap or bracelet seems to be a winner. Also, to the folks that mentioned the Tokyo 2020 white with blue bezel: thank you, you made my choice even tougher! 🙂
    Update: went with the blue and I love it.
