The crew of the Qatar airways are such lovely friendly people, When my son was almost 3 years old he was tired and it was way past his bedtime, he cried alot and it took a while for him to settle down, they were so helpful and compassionate. They could see how flustered/emotional/teary I was .. they tried their best to help me calm him down, when he finally went to sleep they checked on me again to see how I was doing. It was a long 12 hour flight, and they spoiled him with heaps of treats and snacks, they would play with him and were so happy to see his true cute self after he rested. I thanked them so many times and made sure they know how much it meant to me to have their support.
@Damian Patriot cheers mate. thank god kids grow up. But for real people hate it when the parents are not even trying to calm down their kids. God knows I was doing my best and on the verge of breaking down in tears. Eh... it's in the past now but what I still remember was the kindness of fellow passengers and the crew.

His ears were hurting from the soar throat and they even had ear drops for that which I was very surprised by. Loved their hospitality!!
A huge problem I have with this review format is that people can have different tastes and expectations to anything, especially when it comes to dining and service. To give an example: If myself and two other friends all tasted the exact same meal, chances are that if we were to rate that meal via a score, we would have different numbers. When reviewing the airline classes, for all we know, if those guys tried ALL THREE of those airline flights of the same class (and not review just one) THEN would they give the exact same score as each other? I’ve flown with Qatar four times, and on every occasion I’ve been fortunate to have my own row. The last time, there were two of us in a row, there weren’t many on the flight, so the staff advised us to spread out, after take-off and find an empty row and relax.. 12 hour flight too..
Top review, thanks! I also looked up a lot of reviews before booking 4 flights with Qatar in September, my choice for Qatar was first: price for ticket, second: luggage included in cheapest fare and last: you’re are able to choose your seats for free, and bonus good flights hours. All in all most of them 3 would give the same (top) service in economy onboard but for me Qatar is still a step before the other who changed there policy in economy over the last years.
I flew both on Emirates and Qatar, also on A380 airbus one from Singapore to Dubai another from Singapore to Doha. I choose Qatar as the seats are more comfortable, food was better too. Good video. Cheers!
I feel like breakfast on any airline is a hit or miss. Personally I choose the sweet option for breakfast on any plane. I always fly Qatar instead of Emirates now simply because I find that the Qatar A350s are nicer and the transit experience at Doha’s Hamad is miles ahead of the mess at DXB. Anyway great video and hope to see more amazing content!
As someone who has only traveled personally on Qatar so I will refrain from comments on the other two, but It was a long 14 hour flight on an a350, and I really don't think there was any thing wrong. The crew and entertainment and food were all standouts. The crew were just so nice and they willing, without me asking offered an extra meal. The entertainment was so good like so many different options. Lastly the food was very good especially considering it was economy. So props to Qatar
I love this video, Etihad is the only airline I have not being on amongst these 3. I love both Emirates and Qatar, looking forward to experiencing Etihad .
The service part just depends on how full the flight is, where your seat is and how many flight attendants are also doing jobs, you can’t really get too much of an accurate rating on that
@@alexpartridge9012 I always fly on qatar air lines and it's my favorite and they are about the same at least qatar allows you to take 30 kg bag with you maybe the food recently is bad
Flew with all three, Qatar was the best for me in terms of crew service (they’re friendly x1000), emirates come close as second for me although emirates has the best IFE in the world. Etihad comes no where close, etihad’s crew is alright, but their seats, meh. Looks nice, doesn’t feel nice.
Really hate some of the Etihad seats where the headrest is a solid triangular block on one side of your head. Absolutely impossible to get comfy with them. Also, last time I flew with them, they just forgot to load my requested special meal :/
I fly about 3 times a year (for school not including vacations) as a student. And the flights are quite long about 20 hours total fly time. And i have tried all three of these airlines. Qatar is by far my favorite. The crew is the epitome of hospitality. They are nice and very quick too. The flight always feels seamless and time flys by (pun intended). The other two are also really close, but i just prefer qatar.
I personally feel Emirates prioritizes their first and business class product and don't care much about economy. As for service, sometimes the attendants just walk past the seat and think it was an accidental click of the call button and other times, they just ignore it and come 5 minutes later. If you're seated on an A380, I found that most of the cabin crew focused more on the back of the main deck rather than the front near cockpit area. Also, I think Emirates food is good on the other hand. Great video tho!
I’ve flied Emirates once from Brisbane (Australia) to Singapore and it was alright. Did the same route with Etihad and ten times better. Does help that they don’t make people pay for the emergency row or bulkhead in economy with Etihad. Hope the guys can make their way down under after the virus on any flights to Australia
Always found Qatar great when I was 12 13 , I got sick on a plane bathroom and the crew were kind and understanding during near Landing as me and my mother were at the back on a mat , 10 / 10 kindness from the employees , personal fave airline now that I’m 16 going on 17
My experience with etihad hasn't been good at all. Granted, all my flights with them have been extra long haul to Melbourne and Sydney, but the food was hardly edible, and the little I did ingest gave me a heartburn. The seats were very thin and hard. I had to get disposable pillows to pad the seat with. Turkish is better in long haul economy. Their food is quite good. And on a 13+ hour flight, it does make a difference. Where Turkish looses points, is service. Their crew just don't know how to smile or be warm. Their surly behavior borders on rude most of the time.
I flew Turkish Airlines sometimes emirates once and I can say that Turkish airline the food is good but there's only 2 choices in economy the last time I flew in December 2019 and January 2020 back to UK their service is good since I was 12 back then and hadn't reached puberty they gave me a little bag of wooden flight attendents and pilot a little plane some books I forgot the rest but since I'm older and nearly 15 I doubt I will get that but all in all I give Turkish Airlines a 9.5/10 everything was good but the screens were way too quiet,I went to multiple planes and they are very quiet but you can solve that with headphones, good airline!
just flew emirates to Colombo and the experience on the A380 was great, not so much on a very crowd 777 for second leg. Those headphones are a bit weird but what irritates me is why they (and many others) hand out printed menus when this could easily be handled via the onboard entertainment system. Having flown Etihad to India previously, they're both good airlines experiences.
Thai Airways A380 upper deck hands-down. Quick service, absolutely delicious food, well-mannered crew and a seat which is actually extremely comfortable. Not to mention, they have large footrests at each seat!
@@nickyjkelvin yeah, but heres a tip: choose a slightly more expensive fare type (class K minimum) so you can reserve the upper deck in advance. I don't call it economy, I call it upper deck economy if anybody ever asks, lol.
Good video. Would be interesting to see how each of you would rate the different airlines. For me Qatar Airways is by far the best of the three...its all about opinions
I really want to go on Qatar airways one day. Only disadvantage I would give to etihad airways is it only goes to 160 locations around the world. It doesnt go to alot of places. Qatar and Emirates go 360 locations
Thomson Cheng / I 100% agree, flown both Qatar Airways and Emirates, Both breakfasts are inedible, but the lunch Is amazing, Qatar Airways lunch Is slightly better than Emirates. I overall preferred Qatar Airways. :)
good comparison video..much appreciated guys. But , i think , for passengers flying to USA , Etihad's US Pre clearence feature at Abu Dhabi airport is very helpful , one HUGE reason to opt for Etihad while flying into US by Non US citizens .
Terrific video! Definitely earned a subscribe from this traveler! For New Years this year we had the privilege to take Qatar Business class qsuite from JFK to DOha! Incredible journey, however, on the way back we took economy and it was a miserable flight! I agree about the food on Qatar. This was our first time with QATAR. Now in the past we have been very loyal to Emirates airways (jfk - Dubai) long haul flights and 15 years ago when our son was a toddler- the flight attendant literally carried &walked up & down the isle with him to give me some rest. I was given the same courtesy about a few years ago with our daughter! So if your a perspective traveler, I don’t think you can go wrong with picking either of the 3 the gentlemen reviewed! Happy & safe travels 💜
I have flown etihad and emirates a bit. both from southeast asia to the US. I prefer Etihad although the old terminal in Abu Dhabi is pretty terrible. I haven't been through the new one. Emirates also has terminal issues, mostly with the airport being so gigantic. I found there were really two different experiences. The flight you had and a much lesser experience (like a different airline) in and out of bangladesh. Etihad was more consistent in and out of Nepal.
I have flown all three frequently on long distance flights to the USA and disagree with the ratings. Qatar has always been a better experience in economy as well as airport. This type of rating is worthless since three different people took the flights and rated them.
2 weeks ago i went to a flight from Prague - Dubai by Emirates A380 i asked for a coca cola, the flight attendant said “alright, wait a minute” i waited for an hour and she hasn’t bring it to me, so i went up to the drink isle to get it.
I`ve flown on both Emirates and Qatar from Zurich to China via Doha/Dubai but I can`t say anything about Etihad. In my experience QAs service really stands out, I have flown with them two years in a row in August and the purser actually recognized me from the flight one year ago! Don`t get me wrong, Emirates service is really above average but I feel like the Qatar crew is a little more passionate about their job and they make the service a little more personal. As for the product: Bear in mind that Qatar Airways operates a more diverse fleet, so your economy product really depends on what aircraft you are flying on. For example: back then Zurich-Doha was operated by their 787 with a very impressive product, comfortable seat, a good responsive IFE screen big windows and metal cutlery with your meal. On the second leg to china I was on their a330 which has a noticeably older cabin, small windows, older seats, outdated IFE (the selection was the same, just talking about the hardware here) and plastic cutlery. You don`t really have that problem with Emirates since they only operate a380s and b777s and on most routes you can choose between 380 and 777 since they operate many routes twice a day, once with each aircraft type. If you can choose between them, I would highly recommend the a380 in economy just because the a380 is WAY quieter than the 777. About the food: Both airlines offer very impressive lunch and dinner for economy, I would just give Qatar the slight edge over Emirates. But both airlines really struggle to deliver a good breakfast, I had omelette or pancakes for the western option on both airlines and its just not good, I guess its just harder to make a good western breakfast on airplanes in economy... but here is a tip: If you are flying into China or Asia, maybe try the Asian breakfast, as in my experience compared to a normal asian breakfast on the ground, it wasn`t that bad.So maybe that`s an option for you, if you want to try something new. Another point where in my opinion Qatar has the edge over Emirates, is their Hub. Doha Hamad International is just a better and more comfortable airport to transfer through, since the distances between the gates on average are way closer than in Dubai. You also won`t need to take a subway or skytrain within the airport like you might have to in Dubai. In my experience Emirates` flights are a little cheaper than Qatar`s but the baggage allowance is higher on Qatar and they offer a free seat selection even on their lowest fare. Combine that with the consistent good service and the more passenger-friendly hub, I think its worth it to pay the extra.
2019 Melbourne to abu dhabi with Etihad airlines brand new 787 dreamline , worst experince ever . 2011 to 2012 3 - 4 times melbourne to abu dhabi Etihad A 340 was really good . Etihad dont care about passengers at all and i really dont know why they keep the 5 stars
I recently flew as an unaccompanied minor with Qatar and the service, food, seat and entertainment was all phenomenal It was a really great experience which I recommend
The Qatar and Etihad cabin crew were so friendly at the boarding door! The Emirates guy sounded GRUMPY! 😂 (I’ve come across that on multiple Emirates flights! There was one cabin crew on my flight from LAX-DXB in 2015 who was downright HEINOUS!)

youcef toun I agree I have been told by plenty the food is nice and I think they have nice corlors
Thank you for consistently labeling each segment with the relevant airline's logo. I enjoyed this review!
Love the comparisons! Travelled all 3 and love all 3!
service time: goes over 5 seconds
nicky: *visibly pissed off*
Great review, loving the reports. Excellently made, a joy to watch.
I flew both on Emirates and Qatar, also on A380 airbus one from Singapore to Dubai another from Singapore to Doha.
I choose Qatar as the seats are more comfortable, food was better too.
Good video.
Cheers!
Singapore to Doha? I went on a flight like that. The next flight was in an A380.
Emirates is far better than Qatar airways
@@mohammedashrafkhan5165exactly. i fly 1000 times with emirates but only 4 times with qatar
Brilliant video lads! This is how you do comparisons! Same aircraft and basically same route! PERFECT
Thanks for watching!
Recently flew Qatar a380 upper deck economy, it felt like business class because it was extremely private and the crew were amazing
I thank Kara and Nate, cause they led me to your channel.
Ya'll are amazing 💕
Love the comparison points! The stewardess race is brilliant!
There is absolutely no way I would walk without shoes to the bathroom. Nasty af
Esther Mtz R not if you go into the Emirates A380 new models!
lol same
Esther Mtz R you clearly haven’t tried Emirates toilets they are super clean
U don’t even do that in ur house?
Ur poor as has probably never been on good airlines and prob went in shitty American airlines
Anyway great video and hope to see more amazing content!
oh yes I love Hamad... it's so new compared to DXB
Nice to see such good service across the board. Another fab video :)
@Polo G fabulous
Love these comparison videos, keep it up
Thanks Agam!
Thanks guys for the beautiful presentation ! 🍺🍺🍺
The service part just depends on how full the flight is, where your seat is and how many flight attendants are also doing jobs, you can’t really get too much of an accurate rating on that
Amazing review!very helpful
For me, Qatar Airways is the Best 😍♥️🇶🇦
emirates far superior for me
Nah. Etihad is the best
About the call bell thing, it also depends on how full the flight is and how busy the crew are.
Qatar is the best, flew on all the airlines. Many times, economy and business class.
Qatar tops any time ✌🏼👌🏼 but awesome video
Thanks Ross!
I agree
Agree
I flew Qatar compared to Emirates they were terrible
@@alexpartridge9012 I always fly on qatar air lines and it's my favorite and they are about the same at least qatar allows you to take 30 kg bag with you maybe the food recently is bad
Excellent guys..two thumbs up..keep growing !!
The best thing in economy class is a baby screaming on the back seat😂😂😂😂😂😂
Flew with all three, Qatar was the best for me in terms of crew service (they’re friendly x1000), emirates come close as second for me although emirates has the best IFE in the world. Etihad comes no where close, etihad’s crew is alright, but their seats, meh. Looks nice, doesn’t feel nice.
Really hate some of the Etihad seats where the headrest is a solid triangular block on one side of your head. Absolutely impossible to get comfy with them. Also, last time I flew with them, they just forgot to load my requested special meal :/
Etihad is the worst

patient zero
is he gonna lick his socks 😂
Like there are no germs in his shoes already 🙄
I always use sandals
Most people didn't care about germs and viruses pre-pandemic
Great Video!
This is my favourite video on RUclips
Love the format yet again, a 3way comparison. Great details, comprehensive and lighthearted.
Keep them coming guys!
youtube.com/@justbendilive
Dan you can’t be real, Qatar economy is the best for all to be honest.
Agree even the service was the fastest actually everything was good maybe the food in some flight is old but anything else qatar wins
BUX GT have you tried the EMIRATES A380? That Economy is the best there is!!
@@bodigames nah fam
Yeah Qatar is the best
I’ve been on Qatar over 5 times and it’s amazing
Always found Qatar great when I was 12 13 , I got sick on a plane bathroom and the crew were kind and understanding during near
Landing as me and my mother were at the back on a mat , 10 / 10 kindness from the employees , personal fave airline now that I’m 16 going on 17
Another fantastic TPG UK video. Love this economy spin on the previous 4 cabin concept. Keep surprising me guys, I like it :)
Etihad is a great Airline. No airline is better than Etihad
I have to disagree. Qatar is amazing and I've flown on the other two and especially Etihad came no where close to Emirates and Qatar
Like he said, it was just circumstantial and if it wasnt for the food, it would have been much better
Me too
I beg to differ
just flew emirates to Colombo and the experience on the A380 was great, not so much on a very crowd 777 for second leg. Those headphones are a bit weird but what irritates me is why they (and many others) hand out printed menus when this could easily be handled via the onboard entertainment system. Having flown Etihad to India previously, they're both good airlines experiences.
Cool 😎 video, thank you for all the useful info
what a shame he got the old A380 IFE screens instead of the amazing new HD screens that are being retrofitted
What's your favourite economy product?
Ryanair
Singapore Airlines
Thai Airways A380 upper deck hands-down. Quick service, absolutely delicious food, well-mannered crew and a seat which is actually extremely comfortable. Not to mention, they have large footrests at each seat!
@@HS-PGX Need to try this!
@@nickyjkelvin yeah, but heres a tip: choose a slightly more expensive fare type (class K minimum) so you can reserve the upper deck in advance. I don't call it economy, I call it upper deck economy if anybody ever asks, lol.
Great video boys. So informative and well presented :) Can't wait for the first class review of all 3 haha
Can you guys do another one with the same airlines but in first class
i’m so happy i subscribed to you guys
Can you also compare services provided by Singapore airlines?
I think if they all had taken morning flights with breakfast, they would have all given low marks for the food not only just for Qatar
Thomson Cheng omelets are just bad on fights.
Thomson Cheng / I 100% agree, flown both Qatar Airways and Emirates, Both breakfasts are inedible, but the lunch Is amazing, Qatar Airways lunch Is slightly better than Emirates.
I overall preferred Qatar Airways. :)
A review of the three airlines in a single video is impressive! unique way!
well narrated with examples... these are way frequent flyers really need.. thanks for such a wonderful videos
good comparison video..much appreciated guys. But , i think , for passengers flying to USA , Etihad's US Pre clearence feature at Abu Dhabi airport is very helpful , one HUGE reason to opt for Etihad while flying into US by Non US citizens .
Next economy review do:
Air China, China Eastern, China Southern.
74Drive Or... American, United, Delta?
I haven’t had a chance to fly Qatar much. Between Etihad and Emirates, I always prefer Emirates. I don’t know why but Etihad’s interior puts me off.
I love to travel a lot but had never fly too far from my country. I wish one day I could fly aboard with these three airlines. Finger crossed 🤞🏼
Been on emirates for a few times yeah it’s good I love the ife cause like the shows are just unlimited and the WiFi is good
Me, I prefer Qatar !
Oh cool I prefer Emirates but hey who am I to say I never had been in an Qatar airway
Fly emirates fly better
Pls try the same thing again but in other classes 😊
And other airlines
Hello There, a decent comparative vlog, a decent and well produced review video throughout. Cheers Peter Mc :)
I missed the guy who flew eco plus on your previous video
ಠωಠ
regardless, excellent concept and delivery!!! 👏👏👏
2 weeks ago i went to a flight from Prague - Dubai by Emirates A380 i asked for a coca cola, the flight attendant said “alright, wait a minute” i waited for an hour and she hasn’t bring it to me, so i went up to the drink isle to get it.
Great video. ☺️
Literally no one's talking about Etihad in the comments section :(
Ikr and now im stressing out because im flying with etihad in 2 weeks
Esmée Sophie well you shouldn’t stress out because these are top airlines and that doesn’t mean Etihad is bad
SocBall ow well thanks :)
Etihad is bad just took it from Sydney to Paris both ways were bad. I am finished with them
2019 Melbourne to abu dhabi with Etihad airlines brand new 787 dreamline , worst experince ever . 2011 to 2012 3 - 4 times melbourne to abu dhabi Etihad A 340 was really good . Etihad dont care about passengers at all and i really dont know why they keep the 5 stars
Do a comparison with a KLM and Airfrance businessclass (intercontinental) flight ! :)
Great idea!
I recently flew as an unaccompanied minor with Qatar and the service, food, seat and entertainment was all phenomenal
It was a really great experience which I recommend
The Qatar and Etihad cabin crew were so friendly at the boarding door! The Emirates guy sounded GRUMPY! 😂 (I’ve come across that on multiple Emirates flights! There was one cabin crew on my flight from LAX-DXB in 2015 who was downright HEINOUS!)
