- This is Chris's first time trying to swim with our new Nile crocodile, Akila! Akila was donated to us a few weeks ago from Gatorland Orlando@gatorlandvlogs ! We are waiting for the professional footage we took from the day we got her, but in the meantime you can check out @gatorlandvlogs for their video bringing her here!

Something must be up with RUclips. Been subscribed to their channel for about two years now. I used to see their videos show up on the Home feed a lot ( I almost never go to the Subscriptions feed) but today was the first time seeing a video of theirs show up on the Home feed I pretty much had forgotten about this Channel. Same thing happened the other day with The Urban Rescue Ranch.

Akila! I can't believe Chris is already able to swim with her. The differences between crocs and gators is really interesting...I remember you saying that crocs are more dangerous...unpredictable. Good to know why. Gabby must hold her breath in these moments! Can't believe the camera is so steady. I audibly gasped when she opened her mouth and started to come toward Chris. This is not good for people with high blood pressure! LOL!!
Crocs move quicker usually. A lot of Crocs are very aggressive and can move insanely fast. Watch older Steve irwins he shows how quick they move even out of the water. They can whip around in less then a second. Alligators move slow like a sloth(most of them). He shows this difference.
I keep going back through your videos as I’m a new subscriber. I keep saying it but your passion and love for these animals really shows. It’s such a labor of love. 💕Both of you are doing what you were meant to do.❤

Surprised Chris thought the swim with Akila didn't go as well as he wanted it to - I thought that was magnificent! I mean, he wasn't ever going to be sneaking up on her, with all those ISOs she knew he was there, and didn't find him much of a threat. Excellent work. I am sure they haven't been in the water with them at Gatorland since they were a foot or two long. Looked like a GREAT first swim session from where I'm sitting.

Considering how long you've had her, Akila seems to be acclimating amazingly! I'm curious to see if Bella, Big Mac, or Dino (fingers crossed for the boy) ever get that close.
On as aside, maybe don't have the ending be an abrupt cut when you're kneeling by a toothy giant XD I know Chris is careful around the animals, but I had a brief "oh heck, everything okay?" gut response to it. Though honestly Jellybean is the one critter most out for Chris' blood XD

Wonderful! Thank you so much for taking us along on this journey! It is marvelous to see Chris's knowledge, skill, compassion and gentleness in action. Because Chris is so tall and well proportioned people may not understand the true size of your crocodile and alligators even though you do mention their lengths. You might want to find a way to perhaps add his height to the description possibly, or maybe that would be too strange. Because of his proportions Chris looks more as if he is 5'10" to 6' or 6'2". So both the size of the ponds and your creatures also read smaller unless one knows the true height of your human measuring stick, Chris. We expect really tall people to be more narrowly built and thin fitting the profile of ectomorphs.
I think posting more on this channel will get you more support. I absolutely love Chris' daily vlogs.

Phenomenal! I love these videos so much - and the ones on GatorChris channel. I have a question that I've been wondering about for a while: could you put alligators and crocodiles together? Or would that not work at all? I'm just curious about whether they could co-exist happily, or whether they'd be aggressive towards each other.

I am wondering: has this crocodile been "mildly sedated" somehow beforehand? The animal is very calm. Chris is still very brave to be in the water with the crocodile.

Be careful. Am i right he's a little nervous? That's keep you safer. I like learning about these animals. I think the explanation of how they operate are what i find particularly interesting and hearing about the training strategies. You are very brave, I think i'd be scare of a 12 inch (not food) alligator/croc. The teeth are insane.
