  • Never feed or approach wild crocodiles. The team worked with permitted guides.
This week, Coyote and the gang venture across Australia's deadliest river. This waterway is home to hundreds of enormous Saltwater Crocodiles. In this episode, the team sets out to answer one big question: could a human survive a swim across a crocodile infested river? And exactly how "aggressive" are these reptiles? Time to find out!

They are not Dinosaurs. Dinosaurs are specific type of animal, not all "prehistoric reptiles" are Dinosaurs. Even in the colloquial sense dinosaur still refers to specific kind of animal, and that animal isn't a croc.

I'm surprised nobody thought to implant a tracking chip to Dominator to pinpoint his location if he's popular with tourists. I'm mean sure it wouldn't be good to bother him 24/7, but if he was in a specific location on the river from time to time, it would be convenient to keep a record of his movements if he's as big as they say.

It would be very difficult. Crocodiles are easily stressed, so catching them for anything can lead to their death. They don't do well being put under. You wouldn't be able to tag them like you would a shark. Look at Sneaky's scales. You'd bend a needle trying to get anything done.

The river also has extremely strong currents too. And Saltwater crocodiles are also one of the few animals on the planet that would actively hunt humans. It has happened in the past especially during WW2 when the Japanese were eaten in a large swamp on Ramree island by these large crocodiles.
Most dangerous animals (excluding humans obviously), on Earth in my opinion.

I’d argue polar bears are more dangerous or at least as dangerous as hippos and water buffalo. If we’re talking sheer casualty numbers that’d be different, as the vast majority of people will never be even close to polar bear territory, so the number of deaths and injury by polar bear will remain very low compared to other predators.

My dad told me a story about Louisiana, USA. One night in the 70s my dad was at a bar with some coworkers. It was just across a bridge from the cheap motel they were all staying in, they were traveling railroad workers. So while at the bar, one of the men realized he left his smokes behind and went back to the motel. On his trip back he decided to wade through the water as the walk to the bridge and all was a distance. But you could literally see the bar from the motel parking lot. In the morning they were in awe at the river he had crossed. Shallow water, but infested with gators all over from shore to shore. A valuable lesson for an old Kansas boy

"Do you think it would be worse to be eaten by a Crocodile, or a Bear then?"
The Crocodile is going to snap limbs and eat you alive. Whereas the Bear is going to slowly eat your face while standing ontop of you. So which would be worse? At least you might asphyxiate from the Bear perhaps? I've always thought it was Bear, but I never considered Crocodile. Thoughts?

Sneaky the Crocodile really looks the brute that every crocodile fears. Moss on the body, bumpy and rough skin and giant teeth really puts contender with Dominator.

It is crazy dangerous but I think it would be safer than swimming in badly polluted rivers around the world. Atleast if a croc took you it would be quicker than waiting for diseases to kill.

I went to Kununurra and mates that lived up there, they took me camping& barramundi fishing. They all slept whole night 20m off the bank in mosquitoe net's. Being first time up there I couldn't sleep as every time I opened eyes I could see crocodiles shining eyes looking at us. I would get up and throw a couple of rocks near it to scare it away. It was one of my longest nights ever. They told me one time a massive crocodiles about 5m came into their camp and they all got on roof of landcruiser, after 15hrs of crocodile not leaving and laying waiting they had to shoot it. Mate was so heartbroken to do this to giant of nature. They couldn't even pull it too the water for others to feed on because of size. Avagud1

Crocs* also it’s not teasing it’s testing how agile the creature can be. If they just poked the meal in the water the croc would not use any effort to eat it
