Try with the Alligator Snapping Turtle next time, and see how much damage the Alligator Snapping Turtle can do to the prosthetic hand, because the Common Snapping Turtle is only a prelude, the Alligator Snapping Turtle is the main event.

I knew a guy (friend's dad) that had his Achilles tendon completely severed by a snapping turtle through a Wellington boot...He swears that it was an alligator snapping turtle, and being Southern Ontarian Canadian and this anecdote taking place in Southern Ontario, you'd probably think this was a tall tale.... But I have caught several Alligator Snappers in my youth... plus the dude had a permanent limp walked with a cane and had very little flexibility and range of motion in his left foot...

Totally believable. As a kid in Southern Ontario I kept a baby Alligator Snapping Turtle I caught in the nearby swamp as a pet for about a year. That thing was so aggressive it would tear apart anything else that went in the tank. In the time I had it it grew at least double in size, and seeing the writing on the wall, I let it go back where I found it. It was only years later that I was able to identify it as being a definite Alligator type. Technically I don't think they're even supposed to be in Southern Ontario, but their range does officially go into Illinois and Ohio which are just the other side of Lake Erie. Somehow I don't think the turtles care too much about what the maps say.

I hefted one common snapping turtle bigger than the BIG daddy you had there. Unfortunately, it was a freshly dead specimen -- that some kids had done in by crushing its head with some large rocks.
My buddy & I (as 14 yr olds) walked it a quarter mile back to my place where we weighed it -- at over 45 lbs. That was quite a bit bigger than ANY other one I'd ever seen, let alone handled. (As was your big daddy, there. That's special big.)

You shouldn't base your actions around validation (likes) from the Internet. If you truly like her, then respectfully let her know.
Nonetheless, I'll still give your comment a 'like'. 🙏🏽

@@Arnell_Mediocrity_LongBut you’re spittin’ facts though. You definitely don’t want to base your actions on others validation as things always turn wrong very quickly.

Say prayer: Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that God raised him from the death on third days, Forgive me Jesus with your shredded shedding blood on the cross and save me in Jesus name amen.

Imagine what an ancient Dunkleosteus could do. I know comparing a fish to a turtle seems odd but the structure of the Dunks head looks like a super scaled up giant turtle. The thing could have probably chomped through a car.

Fun fact: my teacher had a friend that helped him through the summer with a job, during that summer, his friend (I'm going to call Jake because I can't remember his name) and my teacher went to swim in a pond due to how hot it was that day. Little did they know that there was a snapper in that pond, next moment Jake's pinky toe was gone. Snapping turtle vs foot, snapper wins
