Two really big things about this video: 1. They chased each other. And it wasn't just "the older one started chasing the younger one after she got tired and never stopped." They both consistently took turns chasing each other. 2. Neither of them were defensive or attacked one another when getting treats. I think those two things confirmed that they were just incredibly happy to be there and have another friend.
My good friend Lyn Hall saved the Fennec Fox species from extinction. He breed them on his small ranch in Santa Rosa Valley-CA. As he grew their population, he provided them to many zoos. At his death, he had a funny little one that just loved him - "Dog". He was an amazing man. His proudest achievement outside of his family was winning the Audubon Award for his work and expertise of pigeon. He had nearly 200 birds in his aviary. The world needs more men like Lyn Hall.
I'm so glad you're building them a bigger enclosure after this temporary one; dignified lives require space, and it will help the social bonds between animals.
I have watched this probably at least fifteen times and those two foxes yipping and chasing after each other......it never fails to make me smile. Much success to you and Gabby on your new venture Chris! I can't wait to see more of this journey.
You two.❤ This video is definitely in the category of heartwarming and delightful. Thank you so much for sharing. I’m so happy for both of them. I came late to the game and it’s wonderful to go back and see the beginnings of everything.
Omg they are soooooo cuuuuuute 😍😍😍😍😍 I'm dying of cuteness overload! Would love to hear their rescue stories too. You guys are amazing for helping all the animals. Angels on earth.
Always nice when a owner realises they can no longer care for a animal and do the right thing and surrender them to people who can do instead of dumping them somewhere or worse.
They're working it out. He's just showing his dominance. That was a GREAT introduction. There was no aggressiveness or violence at all. So adorable especially right at the beginning when they did the twirl dance.
I'd say the introduction went very well. I think they're going to he very happy together in their new enclosure. Thank you so much for taking these super cute foxes in ❤
Great video guys! Those foxes are adorable 🥰 and I almost teared up when she saw him and was so excited 🥹. You guys are doing amazing things for animals and are living my dream. Their temp enclosure is awesome and I can’t wait for an update after they have settled in. Keep up the AMAZING work!!! 😄💙🐬🐍🐊🫶🏼
Theyre so cute! Plus, I bet even this temporary enclosure with species appropriate substrates is so much better than how they were living as pets. Plus they get a best friend now! ❤❤❤❤
Fell in love with these little guys back in the 80's I have 10 acres and wanted to get a pair. Was working on my Wildlife permit hours here in Florida when the Zoo I was doing them at suffered a horrible incident that left the owner in critical condition, his wife was forced to close the Zoo due to funding, and re-home most of the animals to different rescues and sanctuaries. His Zoo consisted of rescued, surrendered animals and ones with special needs. It was truly a beautiful place. I'm too old to keep these now but still find them fascinating little creatures ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Aww they're too cute together and so happy! They definitely look like they'll be besties. I think it's also a great sign that they shared snack time and there was zero food aggression or possessiveness. Great job on the enclosure and the introduction!
This was the best thing I've seen all week! Grinning ear to ear watching them run back and forth and around. I'm so happy you guys were able to fulfill your dream of making a sanctuary and providing a gorgeous, comfortable, and abundant home for all these beautiful animals! Also, look forward to more videos and adventures : ) ~cheers
Wowzer how did they not become dizzy as heck all that speed from their little feet running, crazy. But they seem to be happy together, as well as more hides will give them even more comfort totally awesome for their fun. Tfs
The Fennec Fox (Fennecus zerda) is a small dog species native to Northern Africa, it is the world's smallest dog species alive today and one of the six extant species of the genus Fennecus, the other five are the Bengal Fox (Fennecus bengalensis), the Blanford's Fox (Fennecus canus), the Ruppell's Fox (Fennecus rueppellii), the Pale Fox (Fennecus pallidus), and the Cape Fox (Fennecus chama), members of the genus Fennecus are known as "dwarf foxes" due to their usually small body size or "elf foxes" due to their usually long or large pinnae, Fennecus is the second largest genus of dog after Canis.
I love all the RUclips critters, but enjoy the fennecs the most. They're just So Happy, so immersed in life. They make me lol! These two are delighted to have someone to yip at.
I've seen this before in bars all over the country, she wants to get married and he's acting as rationally as he can...RUN DUDE!!! She keeps saying" SAY YES SAY YES"
Fennec foxes are so cute and as much as I love to own one I wouldn't be able to take care of one, the diet and the needs they have is to much work for me so I'll just be happy watching videos about them.
What sweet little big-eared cute little foxes. And how sweet they play together - pictures for animal lovers! Also the feading scene out of the hand... sooo sweet. :-)
Very nice video. They certainly seemed to have hit it off well. I hope that they are still being nice to one another after a few months of being together.
Just happened to bump into this video. Absolutely precious and funny to watch them run and enjoy their new home. Had to subscribe. Will check what other videos you have.I live in Florida and I am happy to support you. Love animals and nature. 🥰
😂 dizzy 🥴 is an understatement, what ever are you feeding them, I want a truck load to have half their energy, my god they can move. Cracking good video thanks 💖😁
OMG cuteness overload! I can say I'm dizzy😳 Thank You Chris and Gabby for taking on these unwanted animals and giving them Great Care and Love👏this is A Lot to take on with just moving and trying to get proper facilities for all your animals already. You two ROCK and I hope your plans come to fruition sooner than later You two deserve it for all you do. God Bless🙏
That was just awesome. So heartwarming to see them together. I’m so glad they now each have a friend. You guys are amazing. I love how much you care for and love all the animals ❤
I didnt realize they were so small. They are absolutely adorable
Well that's probably the cutest thing I'll see all day😊😊
They're the smallest of all the foxes, and I agree completely, they're adorable!
same
Yeah, but hyperactive, and can probably destroy a flat in a couple of hours if left unattended... :)
@@MaksymMinenko definitely, foxes aren't dogs or cats despite any similarities, they basically NEED an enclosure inside or outside.

Those Zoooomies! Worried about such a small enclosure, hopefully they get a bigger enclosure for those adorable foxes!
People with wild animals or birds need to provide mates for them. They miss having a social life. What a lovely video.
Thanks!

Right?!
Fennecs take fox rascality to a whole different level. They've started their relationship at 80 miles an hour. It seems like they like each other.
I have seen a lot of Fox related content over the years, but this has to be up there with the cutest of them all.
