      I really want to try this, but I have 1 question- Is it really, really sweet? I like sweet- but not overly sweet.
      Look forward to hearing from you soon.

      Hello Neil, they will not last in the fridge for long as you will not be able to stop eating them until they are finished 🙂, but if you can keep them in the fridge they will be good for a few days

    Is the shredded coconut sweetened or unsweetened?

    • @roringusanda2837
      @roringusanda2837 Год назад

      Usually, dessicated coconut is unsweetened. As sweetened condensed milk is so sweet anyways, I don't think it would make a difference either way. I've seen ppl make them also with shredded, sweetened coconut, Wich is slightly different texture than dessicated...

    • @personincognito3989
      @personincognito3989 Год назад

      I made them. Use unsweetened. Otherwise, they'd be sickeningly sweet.

    Can I coat my hand in olive oil ?

    • @VARGASAVOURRECIPES
      @VARGASAVOURRECIPES  2 года назад +2

      Yes, I use coconut oil for the flavour, olive oil has a stronger flavour, you could also try to make the balls without oil, it will be a little sticky but should work.

    Can someone tell me why mine was so dry ….. ? :( I followed the measurements but mine was so dry …. Should I put more condensed milk and lesser coconut?

    • @roringusanda2837
      @roringusanda2837 Год назад

      Dessicated coconut is very dry, you may have needed more liquid, yes. Some make these with shredded coconut instead of dessicated, which makes them not as dry.
