You need to rotate your tires every 5-6k to keep the feathering in check. There isn't an alignment setting that can be adjusted when it feathers across the tread. Rotate the tires by crossing the front to the rear and bring the rears straight forward. By doing this it will smooth out the feathering if it's not too badly worn.

My son had the same wheels and the same thing happened in one winter even though he washed the wheels weekly. We called Hostile and they sent new wheels and my son pair to have them coated. So it took longer to start pitting and not as bad. I believe the wheel finish just needs to be better chrome

When I get new rims, I like to ceramic coat them to protect them better, and it makes it so much nicer and easier to clean. It's not always 100% protection for the wheels, but it helps. And if it is a painted wheel, I have a quality clear coat paint put on them, then ceramic coat them, and if they are powder coated, I also just ceramic coat them.

one thing i hate about mud tires is that they are too soft and wear out faster than all terrain tires. I have Nitto Trail Grappler tires and they're already getting dry rot and are losing tread way too fast. I had Falken all terrain tires on my old truck and they still look brand after 3 years.

I've had mudders on my trucks twice. The first set cupped really bad when the tire shop didn't balance them right, and then I didn't get back in for a re-balance. The second set was just way too loud. I couldn't change them or fast enough.
I'm now running a set of Venom Power Terra Hunter RT+, and so far, I'm quite pleased. I get the aggressive look of a mudder, but they run smoother and quieter.

I went with the same Nitto Graplers back in Nov. I had GY Wranglers before. The Nitto's seem to get rocks in the tread more and they sling out. The Wranglers didn't do that as much. Sorry about your underside. I swear by Ziebart and having it resprayed touchup yearly. I had to have quite a bit of work done on my front end to replace parts so it would hold an alignment and replaced the steering stabilizer with a Bilstien. The steering linkage was replaced which has bearing. I was told the bearing wasn't replaceable as a separate part. It actually fell apart when the old one was removed. You might try an acid wash or somethinng similar on the chrome rims. I had Ziebart wash my '84 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Appliance wire rims. I'm not sure what they used but it wasn't acid.
