I wanted this to succeed so badly but ... the GX 550 just made this thing superfluous. If the Ineos was closer to $50k than $80k it might be an option.
Totally agree. Just saw my first one on the road today. Very cool looking, but compared to the GX, with a Toyota six cylinder for $20-30k cheaper, I can deal with the GX. And then we also have to see what the new Land Cruiser can do.
Their target market is really the people who would be buying a Defender moreso than someone considering a baby Land Cruiser or the GX550. Side note, its a bummer for larger adventurous families because neither the Grenadier or OverTrail GX trims offer a 3rd row. Which leaves the TRD Pro Sequoia which shares the same chassis as the 300 series Land Cruiser if you need more than 5 seats and some off-road capability. That presents its own issues though. The Sequoia is around 8" longer than the LX600 and 4" longer than the GX550 with poopier approach, break-over, and departure angles.
They are two different vehicles for two different people. I don't think there's going to be much cross shopping beyond the general "person who has $80k and wants 4WD" demographic. As far as success, unless you can find an order rejection at a dealer you're not going to find one for another 6-12 months. I'm concerned long term, as anyone should be, but there are plenty of people who are interested in this type of thing that aren't exactly in the GX demo.
@@marcochavanne The GX is far more off-road focused than the current Defender. Land Rover changed that model into something no serious off-roader would ever buy. The GX, Sequoia and possibly the Lexus LX are the closest competition to the Grenadier in price and purpose in the US market. Globally this competes mainly against the Land Cruiser 70 Series and Land Cruiser 300, of course.

When the heavily-optioned 1973 Bronco I once owned was new, one COULD have bought a 454 powered Corvette for the same money. Not. Exactly. Cheap. So paying a premium price for something like this Grenadier strikes me as nothing new.

Ford Bronco built in USA. Engines failing by the dozen. Plastic oil pans on engine and transmission. It's a Pozer off road vehicle. But a mall crawler. People bought them , To look and feel special 😅😅😅
Grenadier designed by Magna Steyr, built in a very high tech Ex-Mercedes factory in Hambach. Some thought went into these. They weren’t designed to be luxurious. They were designed to be usable and somewhat basic. The more tech added the more things that can wrong.
A Land Rover without the crappy Land Rover parts? Perfect! But I think the 2024 Land Cruiser will be an even bigger deal, particularly in the under $60K price point.
I have an early build Grenadier in the UK and I have now done over 16,000 miles. Mine is a basic diesel station wagon in Britannia Blue with a white roof with a few options; unlike you I have the extended electrics, the safari roof, tow gear and the first aid kit in the door. I don't have the lockers or the electric safety gear. It is not a mass market car, so was almost guaranteed to be expensive, as they don't have the economies of scale of Toyota, Mercedes, Jeep or Ford. I love it; it replaced an old Defender and is much improved and works well for me. I don't do luxury, but my family prefer it. It had some teething issues when released but these have been fixed by the dealer. My dealer has mainly agricultural franchises and a Korean vehicle franchise.
Your cost compared to other vehicles in the UK is reasonable though. In the USA, and ESPECIALLY in Canada, it does not. Over $100k in Canada for the Trialmaster. It's a joke.
I also have a Grenadier, having owned all sorts of VWs, Fords, and Toyotas, including a 200-series Landcruiser V8. My Grenadier is honestly "the best" car I have ever purchased. Ok, it is a bit quirky, I expected that as a new vehicle... Fantastic engine; it was too big to fit in a carpark initially, but I love it!! Steering, you learn, and then you forget to learn after a mile. Top-class, honest comments.
Misses: Central instrument panel, gearshift, price, speed warning. Everything else is awesome and I'd love to have it. Love the looks and manual controls/switches.
Was fun listening to Tommy and Alex talk about their rigs! We took delivery of our Grenadier in December and we love it. It has some annoying quirks but none of them are deal breakers, and the Grenadier just feels "special". It gets tons of attention everywhere we go and it's a blast to drive. The engine is so much peppier than the V6 in our 2022 4Runner TRD Off Road. I do think it's too expensive, but honestly every new enthusiast car is too expensive nowadays. We're hoping to make a lot more videos of the Grenadier soon!
Your new truck has a B58 engine which is BMW’s flagship engine used on their high end models including sports cars. It’s also used in the Supra, so I imagine it’s massively faster than your old 4Runner. Congrats on your rig!
Thanks for the long review guys! I found some of it annoying, but I understand where you’re coming from. Tommy: you’re the main reason I ordered one to begin with from that video you did 3 years ago or so! I’ll be selling my capable 2017 4Runner. My Scottish White Trialmaster will be here soon. I pretty much checked every accessory box. Factory mounted winch was a no-brainer for me. Have to say I am shocked by the options you guys didn’t select. No ladder? No tow package? No accessory rails? But you’re also not planning to keep it for long so maybe that’s why? I look forward to the other videos and see you put her through her paces. I think it’s an incredible vehicle. Not perfect for sure but there’s really nothing like it unless you have $200k for Gelandewagen.
I was able to see one in person at the auto show in Portland last Friday. I was impressed with the fit and finish of the vehicle. As my son pointed out having panels that can be removed easily was a plus. The lack of a speed or tach readout behind the wheel bugs me. It also bugged me on the Mini too. If you opt for the BFGs the tire is 31.7" tall (according to BFG). The salesman showed a picture from one of his customers that already mounted 35s with no lift. It looked really good, and he's had no issues with rubbing.
I hope you add the Eibach lift springs and some larger tires! I think it MAKES this vehicle! It's a relatively inexpensive upgrade and it would really unlock the capabilities of this vehicle!
I was all into this as it was being developed. It's got compromises but for 90% of where this will ever go, I'd prefer to save 20-30K and will get a GX/Land Cruiser or 4runner.
@@jmax850 Couldn't agree more. It may have solid axels and 3 lockers (if equipped) but it's lacking everywhere else. The on-road manners won't be as good as the GX, so getting to the off-road section won't be as fun or relaxing. Lastly, Ineos is promising buyers that they'll be there in 5 - 10 -20 yrs. That's a big ask. One that would be a little easier to swallow if it was much cheaper... which would help ensure their longevity if they had volume sales.
The GX and Sequoia are not serious off roaders. They are like modern Range/Land Rovers. I had a new Sequoia TRD Pro and that thing belongs on light trails and Target parking lots with the pathetic angles and silly front air dam that would get destroyed immediately on a trail. I agree that the 4Runner would probably be a better value with similar capabilities.
@@voxel999 Wow you honestly don't think the GX is NOT a serious off roader? Are you talking about the GX 460 or the new GX 550 premium and luxury trims ( which I honestly don't think are truly offroaders )
Going up against big manufacturer prices as a start up is hard. It's a big ask, but any sort of customized vehicle would be more than double the price. Look at custom vintage broncos, etc. They need to work out some kinks and fix a few obvious design aspects, but it would be nice to have the only one around
Guys, a lot of people are removing the steering stabilizer to fix the steering-centering issue. It only takes a few minutes to do and it would be interesting to get your impressions of that change.
Where is the video of the buying experience you guys talked about at the end of this video. I can't find it. Oh yeah cool video all the way through. I love it when a owner is reviewing their own vehicle, so much more genuine! Congratulations and looking forward to more content.

Thanks for this - I have a 2 seater Utility Wagon Grenadier with a lot of extras and it replaced 40+ years of Defender ownership. I absolutely love mine and am enjoying the journey it has taken me on. Yes - it has some teething problems and we await the company to develop - but it does everything I need both on and off road. Sir Jim (NOT Sir Ratcliffe!) has my thanks for his bravery and quirkiness.
Regarding the winch for the front, I did not order it, but I ordered the front tow hitch, along with the rear tow hitch, that the portable winch can be used either front or both.
I like that they didn’t target this at the Malibu Barbi crowd. This is where Land Rover went wrong in my mind. Built to be simple, rugged, easy to fix with global parts availability. The shifter is a huge mis! I’ve used similar systems and it felt so backwards to push a shifter forward to travel backwards. That’s something I would get used to but the point is it’s irritating when your getting in it the first time.
According to other worldwide reviewers - no dealer network; no spare parts availability; no owner or technical manuals; and sky-high prices for common parts. Not good.
I think that few 4x4 enthusiasts do not realize that the English Designer of the Grenadier Toby Ecuyer was a Yacht Designer of some 20 years standing before being poached by Jim Radcliff after designing Jim Radcliff's Yacht and that the Grenadier was his first attempt at a Car design and then subsequently he went on to engage Styer Magna in Graz Austria and employed the Germans and Austrian engineers who were currently manufacturing the G-Wagons for Mercedes Benz at their Styer Magna plant to produce the various prototypes of the Grenadier
I love this vehicle, even if I probably won't buy one. My speculation is that the cost of replacement parts will be exhorbitant. Italian axles, bmw engine, European cars are not cheap to maintain.
Agree with your concerns on cost of replacement parts and repairs, and even finding someone who would work on it. For less $$ you can buy a top of the line Summit Reserve Grand Cherokee or if you want something more offroad get a top of the line Rubicon Wrangler. Cheaper and easier to repair/maintain.
BMW stuff is a bit pricey but it is easy to get in the US. I'm more concerned about what all in the suspension and other driveline parts are much less common. I'm sure it'll all be expensive but these days even fixing things on your normal Jeep or Toyota can be expensive. I would just want to know I can get parts in a timely manner.
Sadly not saying much. All of the plastic bits break over time. Cheapness that strongly impacts long term ownership. And yes, my wife has owned quite a few so we have experience.

As ever, an excellent and balanced review from "a man on the street's" point of view. It will be extremely interesting to hear how everyone gets on and to see if the vehicles ever make it here to Brazil.
I think you guys absolutely nailed it, on this review. You focused on all the important things, and can see its place in the battle for the $80,000 segment.
I've seen pics of the front axle. And it has a semi.closed knuckle design. But it doesn't have a sealing surface, which would indicate u joints up front. Any way you could figure out what size they are. Dana 30s and 44s use 1310 upfront and 60s use 1350
Dana King pin 60s can use 1410 I thought that was stock. But I'm in the aftermarket world of rock crawling. Super duty 60s can use 1410s stock or fit 1550 if they're 05+ which are massive.
He did mention how thieves can steal Teslas with NFC technology. Maybe he was alluding how cars have been so advanced, car thieves had to learn new technology and are no longer used to the primitive key inside of an ignition.
But it’s amazing…it works perfectly. It doesn’t have to be jiggled about from side to side…if you were a bmw driver, you’d know. Of course what it should have is a clutch and a manual shifter and a six speed gearbox….but we live in a world of lazy drivers. How is an automatic transmission vehicle going to know you want to hold third gear to the bottom of the hill then swing left and power up the next one…only the driver has eyes and a brain to establish that plan of action.
I had the same shifter on my 535. It was great as my arm ran parallel to the shifter. It’s odd on the Gren that I own. I’m getting used to it but it is my only Mo or complaint on the entire vehicle. I love mine.
It'll be interesting to see what happens with used prices in a few years. I feel like there are going to be a lot of people who buy these for street use and discover pretty quickly that they're not up for the downsides, and that might result in some pretty insane bargains on them down the line.
I backed out of mine after a five year wait. The dealer in Connecticut could not have been any worse at contact and responding. It’s a cool SUV for sure. I’m excited for them and hope they figure it out. Less tech and lower the price a little. Mine would’ve been $96k with the winch and lockers. I’ve kept my 2019 G550 and 2022 Defender V8. The Grenadier needs a few years to prove its value
I agree with Tommy. I like the key. Idk I like having that mechanical aspect I guess. I actually put a Lamborghini style flip switch over my start button to try to get some of the aspect back. It helps.
I just experienced a serious feeling of dejavu - as someone who lives in Africa I remember the same discussions about 2 years ago. The discussions here have evolved substantially over time.😊
After watching this collab i might suggest you find a camp half way 600 to 650 miles toward each other and tow a small trailor and do a weekend off road collab
It is a bit BS that Alex didn't even know what it was this summer and magically got his already, while the rest of us who have been on pre-order for years still haven't gotten one. Pays to be in the industry I guess.
The steering of this truck makes me appreciate the steering in the Wrangler/Gladiator. Yeah you have to keep steering it, but at least it doesn’t have a dead zone and isn’t too sloppy.
To Alex and his point about having the unlockable center diff in 4-low. This means you can use low range for backing up trailers in tight situations on pavement. One of the vehicles I learned to drive in was a 1989 F-150 regular cab short bed 4x4 5-speed manual transmission & 300c.i. I-6 engine with manual locking hubs. We left the hubs unlocked unless it was snowing or we were driving up a fire road. But, we used low range all the time for maneuvering trailers and being able to leave the front hubs unlocked made it perfect.
Also, I can't believe TFL bought one without a trailer hitch! And skipping on the heated seats in Colorado of all places. But you spent the $300 for the compass??? Edit: I just looked at the Ineos website and they have another new vehicle announced; the Fusilier. Looks smaller and more aerodynamic.
As the 40 Year Old Guy would say, "Ain't no Way!" I can see this failing in the US faster than Fiat. There are so many great aftermarket builders out there that could build you a fantastic more than capable wheeler. Can't wait to see how the story ends on this one.
In-line 6 is the way to go , I have had a few and they are great good mpg plus enough torque to tow , no v-8 sound but the ones I have had just kept going and going
The heated leather seats are awesome. The grenadier is very capable off-road and confidence inspiring on gravel roads. Very comfortable over longer distances it’s a great place to explore the great outdoors, and, with loads of character it puts a smile on your face. It’s on the expensive side however, brembo brakes, recaro seats, bilstein shocks, 3 diff locks etc etc go some way to explaining the price.
The steering issue makes me think they are not running enough caster angle. If you guys added some caster, the steering would return to center quickly, and it would not wander. I did this on my Wrangler (running 5.5 degrees now) and it made a night and day difference.
I would get an old cheap phone and a digital speedometer app. Tape it to the warning panel in front of the steering wheel. No gauge there makes my OCD go wild
Great review but you need to mention the 60 engineers from Magna Stuaer that worked on this vehicle for many years - and these are the people that build the G- wagon!
Good chat. I appreciate the content. Thank you Tommy for your perspective, you did great. Old boy, your guy who is happy with Gren Dier is profound in his interests/personal likes. He can buy @ $90k plus, all day, pay over the top prices, and he postures that its all just so okay...its not...Wanted winche, at 4k plus too...vehicle tech, at start up? Are you kidding me
Great video, I've been waiting for this and love the collab with Alex! A TFL rig without a tow package? I was really hoping to see it on the Ike. Love the color, I pre-ordered the same combo and am still waiting for delivery...and I'm waffling daily on canceling and waiting a couple years for refinements and more service/warranty/DIY evolution (I'm 6hr drive). Per the questions at 17:50, Nope, no power seats or lumbar available on any spec or country. And Dual/Aux battery is separate option than aux pre-wiring and additional overhead switches.
The lack of memory seats is because of wading height, the seats need to be able to survive being underwater. Far as I know Wrangler only added this as an option to the Rubicon last year (they also explained it was a wading issue). I wonder if Recaro simply refused to warranty the seat for being underwater, and Ineos decided the cost of developing their own submersible memory seat would have been prohibitive. That would explain the cutouts for controls being on the seat but unused.
You missed the best part of the court ruling. The court found that land rover never owned the patent because the British government owned the Defender.
Is there a list anywhere of future Ineos dealers? The closest current dealer to me is around 9 or 10 hours away, but I live in a metro with around 2.6 million people.
I love ditching push button and power seats. The seats add so much weight and decrease payload. I also think commentary about the heaviness is a bit off - it's only a bit heavier than a GX 550, but it has a lot more payload.
I have a 2020 BMW X5 and looks to me like you have similar interface/system/tech that comes with a BMW of the same era with the B058. It's logical seeing that it shares the same powertrain. My BMW came with the overspeed warning active as standard but did get disabled through the multiple menu settings. I definitely identified with some of your interface issues.
The speed warning makes a ton of sense particularly in the UK at the moment. The UK is moving towards having average speed limit zones everywhere rather than signs and cameras for specific speeds in specific places.
I don't mind the clicking noise, because it's not high pitched. It is very useful in Europe, where they have permanent cameras on the side of the roads that take a picture of the license plate every time you exceed the speed limit. The ticket is then mailed to your house. In your commute, you would know where they are, but if you drive itineraries occasionally, you can be caught by surprise.
This is a field truck. not a maul crawler Electronics are minimal because they brake. that's why ity has a normal key that also makes it in this modern world a lot easer to steal.
I am cross shopping the IG and the GX550. I have an order in for the IG, but have not yet taken delivery. I'm seriously considering leaving the IG at the dealer and buying the GX550 Overtrail, about $16K cheaper than the IG. Any thoughts?
Two things: 1. The payload of 1529 lbs is good but it is not the 2200 lbs that was promised. Second, STOP COMMENTING ON RIDE QUALITY of an empty utility! Of course it is rough, it is designed to be loaded down! Add half the payload to the vehicle, then comment on the ride.
I live in a small mountain town with 60% dirt roads on a 100 acre farm. Looking at retiring my F150 on 35s into a dedicated farm truck and picking one of these up for my daily driver.
The dual battery option has both batteries underneath the second row, not one in the engine bay and one under the seat. Payload is over 1800 lbs, not 1500. 🙏🏻
props to this car company , they basically didn't really exist until 2019 and production started in 2022. your reviewing a 2023/2024 model and analyzing it as if its competing again Toyota and Mercedes. sounds to me like they've done an incredible job in a very short amount of time. i think the price may have to do with the fact that they dont have the buying power that GM , Toyota , or Ford has. i imagine they are having to pay a lot more for each individual part than any of they're competitors have to because they dont have the same economy of scale.
I think they will succeed as a niche product for people with means. Saw 3 of them in the Highland Park Village parking lot at one time a couple weeks ago in Dallas. Doesn't make much since as an only vehicle, but maybe as a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th car. Cheaper than a G-wagon but more exclusive than a Jeep/Toyota.

Starts at 71k in the us
Misses: Central instrument panel, gearshift, price, speed warning. Everything else is awesome and I'd love to have it. Love the looks and manual controls/switches.
How cool is to see dad and son working together, love it!!
For sure. We still own the 4Runner. It's a great rig and will last forever. @@miniaddict4534
At 80K you shouldn't have to
It's not going to lift the vehicle. Why buy all that crap. It's a solid axle and will not lift
I was all into this as it was being developed. It's got compromises but for 90% of where this will ever go, I'd prefer to save 20-30K and will get a GX/Land Cruiser or 4runner.
There’s NO reason it should be $1 more than the more luxurious Lexus GX. 50% more expensive??? Outrageous
Alex has very valuable insight; his opinion counts a lot. I find him most credible auto-journalist.
Guys, a lot of people are removing the steering stabilizer to fix the steering-centering issue. It only takes a few minutes to do and it would be interesting to get your impressions of that change.
Collaborating with Alex made this video "Extremely Excellent" (as opposed to just "excellent")! Nice job, guys!
Where is the video of the buying experience you guys talked about at the end of this video. I can't find it. Oh yeah cool video all the way through. I love it when a owner is reviewing their own vehicle, so much more genuine! Congratulations and looking forward to more content.
TFL obviously has some link issues with the purchasing video for the Ineos.
You guys need to play the Green Acres theme song when you drive it!!!!!!
The center pod is so it is easier to have left hand and right hand drive models using the same dashboard. It was intended to be an international model sold world wide.
And yet you have Jeep Wranglers, Land Cruisers, G Wagons etc sold worlldwide too if left and right hand drive models.

Not good.
I love that it has a solid front axle. It'll really set it apart from the GX550 / Land Cruiser
Where is the field repair guide as promised?
Designed in England, built in France, German engine.
I think Bugatti’s are also built in France, might not be a bad thing.
So they got a dood who was used to designing boats design this car? That explains the steeriing.
That engine (and variants thereof) is in a ton of vehicles, including Toyota's own Supra.
Tell the GM owners that own the baby Cummins.. made overseas 😅😅
Tommy can bash on the inline 6 all he wants in the short. It's the best engine BMW made.
Sadly not saying much. All of the plastic bits break over time. Cheapness that strongly impacts long term ownership. And yes, my wife has owned quite a few so we have experience.

@@greeked ok. Right now in my garage sits an M440 convertible and an X3 M40ix. Both with the B58. Again, core engine is great but all the plastic parts they bolt on have once again been trouble. None of my Land Cruisers have ever had a potentially catastrophic problem even at extremely high miles.
May be a good choice for the Grenadier. Not sure. Maybe they re-engineered all the plastic parts like Toyota did. Guess we will see.
I laughed when ya'all mentioned, 'long term' and 'year' in the same sentence. I didn't know TFL was getting into comedy lol.
I appreciate all the research you do to present this video. I’m sure it takes a lot of work. The Keyfob looks like my VW Jetta Keyfob. :). The controls on the ceiling are great. Thank you!
The new Lexus GX upstaged every new SUV this year.
Tommy may be too young to remember this but having a physical key did not help prevent vehicle theft in the days before smart keys.
He did mention how thieves can steal Teslas with NFC technology. Maybe he was alluding how cars have been so advanced, car thieves had to learn new technology and are no longer used to the primitive key inside of an ignition.
The bmw shifter made me spit my coffee out 😂 caught me off guard lol
Very odd, doesn’t fit the design.
@@interdecYes, it needed a manual option. I'd already own it if there was manual variant.
It helps.
Roman, you taught Tommy well. He's an absolutely superb presenter.
"it has no land rover parts on it once so ever" well im sold , sounds like a good rig then.
I love the key. Wranglers should still have a manual key and it would become something everyone praises one day like the windshield folding down.
The return of the ignition key! Yes. Maybe the shifter on the steering wheel will come back soon!
As the 40 Year Old Guy would say, "Ain't no Way!"
I can see this failing in the US faster than Fiat. There are so many great aftermarket builders out there that could build you a fantastic more than capable wheeler. Can't wait to see how the story ends on this one.
Specing a rear winch from the factory is insane. I hope they do great because once I am able to afford one I will definitely be a customer!
"NOT ENOUGH BANG, FOR THE
BUCK!!"
In-line 6 is the way to go , I have had a few and they are great good mpg plus enough torque to tow , no v-8 sound but the ones I have had just kept going and going
I think we're the only channel that did NOT buy a Grenadier in 2024.
Reminds me of my 2013 FJ Cruiser the vehicle that Toyota should build again, because it is just good.
I agree with Tommy, push button is unnecessary.
Great review but you need to mention the 60 engineers from Magna Stuaer that worked on this vehicle for many years - and these are the people that build the G- wagon!
Superior video guys with Alex too! I can’t find the purchase video you guys did, I have all your channels!

This particular color combo is a direct copy of one the the Land Rover classic colors from the older vehicles from the 60's and 70's.
….and early fj40s…
Great video, I've been waiting for this and love the collab with Alex! A TFL rig without a tow package? I was really hoping to see it on the Ike.
Love the color, I pre-ordered the same combo and am still waiting for delivery...and I'm waffling daily on canceling and waiting a couple years for refinements and more service/warranty/DIY evolution (I'm 6hr drive).
Per the questions at 17:50, Nope, no power seats or lumbar available on any spec or country. And Dual/Aux battery is separate option than aux pre-wiring and additional overhead switches.
Thanks for the thoughtful comment!
@@TFLtalk lol my 2014 honda crv has front and rear recovery points.

That would make it a it difficult for any warranty work to be done
With regards to the winch, remember not only do you get it wired in but they also replace the springs due to the extra weight
I have 1500 miles on mine so far. Love it. It’s solid. Oozes quality.
I love ditching push button and power seats. The seats add so much weight and decrease payload. I also think commentary about the heaviness is a bit off - it's only a bit heavier than a GX 550, but it has a lot more payload.
I hope you keep that for a long time. That’s a cool rig.
Great detailed review.
Super cool car - In the UK they have depreciated quite a bit making a nearly new one very tempting.
The speed warning makes a ton of sense particularly in the UK at the moment. The UK is moving towards having average speed limit zones everywhere rather than signs and cameras for specific speeds in specific places.
You guys need to begin summary defenestrations of your sniveling-do-gooders.
The nanny state is in full effect over there. What a joke.
It's because of the idiots here in USA speeding thru School Zones or cutting you off. Many of the new vehicle have that feature.
No brainer, cost of ownership will be horrific on this. Because of depreciation, parts and service costs. Get the 250 or 300 Series Land Cruiser.
I agree that there’s some basic things missing… however I can’t stand that there’s no traditional gage cluster. That’s a big miss for me.

It would have been so much better if it had analogue gauges in front of driver. The switch gear also looks a little low quality for the price.
props to this car company , they basically didn't really exist until 2019 and production started in 2022. your reviewing a 2023/2024 model and analyzing it as if its competing again Toyota and Mercedes. sounds to me like they've done an incredible job in a very short amount of time. i think the price may have to do with the fact that they dont have the buying power that GM , Toyota , or Ford has. i imagine they are having to pay a lot more for each individual part than any of they're competitors have to because they dont have the same economy of scale.
