The wind was bitter cold, that night, it was about 12 degrees and his hands were absolutely frozen stiff, and he still delivered with more heart than the vast majority of "artists" we have today. What a class act, Keith. My hat is off to you, except when it's that dang cold out. :)

I grew up listening to these legends, especially Tom Petty. Thank you for this wonderful tribute, I was moved to tears.
This is the definition of COUNTRY MUSIC...MUSICIANS PERIOD...the whole family sticks together!!!
I have yet to meet a single soul on this planet who doesn't know at least one Tom Petty song. He was my favorite of all time and all these tributes from people you wouldn't even expect were influenced by his music just blows my mind every time.

3 years later - still an awesome performance - Chester or not. His transitions from one song/performer are phenomenal. From Lexington, Ky - Troy Gentry was proud of that tribute.

One of the rarest moments you will ever see as Keith's family is something that he usually keeps very private.
I love Keith! I had the pleasure of meeting him when he performed at an American Cancer Society event. He is simply one of the nicest guys...and can shred a guitar like no other.

Never saw this before but the video popped up right after the Tribute I watched for Christine McVie. Does Keith do this every year for those we have lost ? You can't peg this guy to any genre of music. I don't play as well,but I can't be pegged to any genre either. People don't appreciate this guy enough man. He plays anything from A to Z, that to me is mark of a true blue musician. Petty got me though, that guy and his band are the background music to 33% percent of my memories.

I noticed the singer, songwriter, who touched my inner core /soul was first, CC , my Christopher Cornell, " No one sings like you anymore" All of the greats. soo many we lost that year!. I love you Keith , You are are GOOD man, to have endured the elements of nature. ♥♥
That was so touching, I lost my 28 year old son, and husband in the three months. Music was everything to both of them. And a connection with us too. Your tribute was so awesome for every single one of those Iconic Musicians!! with the passion that you, and them were all connected with. Beautiful! you are a wonderful, talented human being. my daughter, and I love the realness, and compassion you bring to the world through your music. The guys enjoyed your music too!! Thank you so much, it was special for us. They were all great as individuals, and will be missed.
I've crossed said plane. Never regret or bestow angst. Living with a smile is the ONLY way to deny an innocence death...result of sorrow in vein.

Keith, Your Just Amazing at doing Tributes to The Wonderful Singers We’ve lost 😞 I Grew Up Listening to alot of Them & Glen Campbell was & always will be 1 of My Favorites & I’ve GREAT memories of Troy Gentry, when I went through 7 Years of Chemotherapy Harley Davidson Put on a Poker Ride Run to Raise Money for Me & Montgomery/Gentry Surprised Me & went on The Poker Ride Run & Afterwards Put on A Wonderful Benefit Concert for Me- Us Kentuckians Stick Together- I was So Honored they did that

He was awesome for 2 hours so full of energy I got to tell you Keith brought me back to that great night when he did FREE FALLING don't think anybody else could have done that other than this incredible artist. I admit that I don't know this guy's music at all but I am aware that there is a guy called Keith Urban and he sings and plays guitar in a 'Country band.' I am from the States but I have lived in Europe for almost 20 years and I play symphonic music for a living so knowing what's going in in Country Music isn't just naturally happening for me. I'm always pleased to see talented musicians and performers in any genre.
He tastefully moved on through to each song and captured the soul of each one through many different colors and textures, both while playing and singing. He did almost all of it without a band. I'm impressed, this guy is good.
He is the VERY BEST guitar player and male singer.
