I am a HUGE Bee Gees fan...even at 72 years young and I don't usually like people covering other people's song but Keith Urban knocked it out of the park with this one and I have listened to it soooooooooooo many times. Thank you Keith Urban!!!!
I was the human for a long-haired dachshund named Harley. I was his third owner. He loved this song by the revivalist. We would snuggle up and go to sleep at night. If he was ever nervous or upset when I played the revivalist version at muscle Shoals we would snuggle and sleep. I love Keith Urban and I found this song today. It is beautiful. I think Keith Urban may be my 2nd favorite country musician! As singer/songwriters, the Bee Gees are second to none, but many people aren’t aware of their massive contribution to music. Unlike most successful groups, their immense talent has spanned 4 decades, and they’ve released 29 hit songs in multiple genres (Rock & Roll, R&B, Soul, Disco, Pop, etc). It is truly outstanding and he is a great talent. However, I don't think that most other tributes suffer in comparison. Some performers may be less talented but that doesn't mean that they don't put their heart and soul into their offerings.
Keith Urban is among the very small set of artists that can actually make an original cover of a song. For instance, Clapton or John Mayer are very good to achieve that. Making a song its own with talent, keeping the spirit of the original without spoiling it, is an art. Here it's a perfect example, and not only Keith can sing the song perfectly, but the guitar / rock part is also on spot without being too overwhelming because the song is still a ballad. Well done Keith!

@@scottventimiglia5861 no keep going because it's the person who just does the music that is useful. i only do simple songs and rythm but they still use me in the aged care now that i am not working. they bop along and dance etc for their happy hour. also i play for fun with a couple of friends nearly every sat avo. also another lady i know who doesn't play very well brings much enjoyment to a large group of singers at our library who also perform at aged care. it's the doing that counts. the commiting. it's a life. we have also used it in rehab and christmas at the hospital. and in disabilities. suggest you learn to sing a long if you even have a medium voice too so you can take it anywhere anytime. if you look at my youtube you will se i'm very average but i still get used. in my vids, that day i made 97$ Australian in an hour. keep going i encourage you.

What a performance! The best part for me was watching Barry Gibb's reaction to Keith's rendition of his song. He was simply captivated by it as were we all.
For those of us that play the guitar, we know how great he is and his singing is off the charts fantastic too. Barry jumped up and let Keith know he was thoroughly entertained.
I think Kieth was definitely singing this to his beautiful wife Nicole Kidman Urban. He is so in love with her and her with Kieth. I love how he put his entire Heart & Soul into singing this song. Kieth is sn amazing artist. Amazing Man.

I so love this version of this song. I wish he’d record and sell it. This song alone showcases the full breadth of Keith’s professionalism. He did a beautiful version of the Bee Gees song while showing complete and total respect to them through it and throughout it. He deserves so much respect for that.

There's a cover of it used in an advert just now, and it boils my piss....some warbling girl or other...you know the stuff....never sing one note when you can make it into 20. @@scottventimiglia5861 no keep going because it's the person who just does the music that is useful. i only do simple songs and rythm but they still use me in the aged care now that i am not working. they bop along and dance etc for their happy hour. also i play for fun with a couple of friends nearly every sat avo. also another lady i know who doesn't play very well brings much enjoyment to a large group of singers at our library who also perform at aged care. it's the doing that counts. the commiting. it's a life. we have also used it in rehab and christmas at the hospital. and in disabilities. suggest you learn to sing a long if you even have a medium voice too so you can take it anywhere anytime. if you look at my youtube you will se i'm very average but i still get used. in my vids, that day i made 97$ Australian in an hour. keep going i encourage you.

I so love this version of this song. I wish he’d record and sell it. This song alone showcases the full breadth of Keith’s professionalism.
