Haha that's great! And the suckers aren't cheap so I wish I had a discount code for you *cough cough* Helloooo WeckMethod! Hope you get some good use out of them
Wooden block with a shoe under one corner for a low price version (trying to mimic the angles by taking a screenshot from this video). I'm also feeling similar effects in the feet to what you described with my version plus immediate relief from buttock pain somehow.
I’ve been averaging 10-20 minutes a day and I’ve just started his classes on RUclips. I’m 44 and my 2-3 mile walks with my dog, have been noticeably more comfortable.
They have been very beneficial to my clients with fallen arches so they can understand what good alignment feels like. I just look forward to standing on them if I need to do be on my feet and stationary. It feels like relief after being in shoes and walking on flat surfaces. If you’re looking for more uses with them check out David Weck and the Knees Over Toes Guy’s collab they did recently 👍
Personally I don't stand on them in the downhill direction. Don't really feel any benefit. I think people use that for training purposes (I have a slant board for things like that) but the design is meant to be stood on in the upward direction. Glad you're liking them!
I wonder how it would work for my dad he is 76 and has really bad knees and back and can barely walk for 10min straight....Do you think it would help improve his strength in knees and hip just from standing on them for like 5min a day?...Or is it meant to do exercises on them for them to work?
He might have more structural damage that’s keeping him from standing straight and walking. The bones in his feet could be fused by now which wouldn’t allow for the benefit of this. If I were him I would focus on strengthening the muscles around the feet, knees and hips. Yes, this could help to teach him proper alignment for the ankle and knees but it might be a bit too advanced if he doesn’t have mobility or strength to hold himself upright without any extra challenge.
I like Weck too. But with this one: why not just get your foot in a strong position: inside ankle bone high, funnel pressure to 4th and 5th metatarsal and balls of feet. And do stuff in that position?
I think this is just a passive form of what you’re doing. Sometimes it’s hard to actively get into that position if you’re untrained. This is a tool that you can use passively, just stand on it, then take what you feel and perform reps like you are talking about. This tool is definitely not mandatory, but it is nice for some passive work.
They should pay you bro bc you convinced me to buy it. Im pretty pumped

Intriguing! Thank you!

thank you
I bought these things. They are on their way.
Thanks for the video! Thinking about getting these myself. Do you have anything to add after using them for a longer time?

I got them and feel something special like you said. To you is there a major difference between the downhill or the uphill ? Thanks for your input

Are these covered under medical equipment? To purchase with flexible health benefit?
Not sure...possibly because it's technically a "rehab" tool.
is this meant to be used barefoot or with shoes?
You can do both but the design was meant to go barefoot.
IMO Snake Oil
Try it before you knock it!
Opinions can be a wonderful thing
@@Eudamonic They can be. Especially when they’re informed ones.
Have you used these sitting?
Yep that’s where I use them mostly
@@FitPhilosopher thanks for the response
