    This guy is like a mad scientist, completely changed my perspective of human motion. The fist is going to take a while to get used to but that force dispersion guard technique can be used immediately. It reminds me of that egg squeeze challenge, where bodybuilders and strongmen try to crush an egg with one hand but it's hard because the hand is dispersing force evenly across the shell.

      Yeah, that's what i was thinking. Everyone who trained with 'normal fists for a few years will do it automatically. Especially in a real confrontation. It must be really difficult to unlearn something as basic is making a fist.

    • @mexicanpapi33

      It’s all muscle memory. Just like you make a fist without thinking about it the more you do the triangular fist the more first nature it becomes. Eventually you’re going to do it without even thinking about it. Plain and simple

    this reminds me of a topic I read a while ago that spoke about the "gentrification of martial arts" where certain technical and structural ideas as well as philosophies and soft skills are lost through societal pandering and cultural changes, one thing I remember was that "even the most brutal fighting arts will become tame to the soft" where because of rules and changes simple but effective ideas and teachings are lost to the art, "ideology must never compromise the art or science, fact must never become subjective to suit, but us to the fact"

      the thing i love about martial arts is that everything you said has to be proven in the ring or some actual combat simulation, until then everything you said is border line as bruce lee would say "useless"

      @@denjipoochita7351as a martial artist I decided to offer something constructive to the conversation instead of making a blanket statement, ideas are often lost for different reasons regardless of whether they are effective or not, what I like about martial arts and practioners is that we all have our own reason to practice and techniques work differently for different people, I go by experience and the fighters who I quote go by proof of practice, otherwise it wouldn't be stipulated

      Take a 3/8 or 7/8 hexagonal 9560 steel bar that's as tall as up to your armpit and one end tapers to a cone ~15° angle and put a 35-55mm tetrahedron on the other end and it will go threw anything. Icosahedron will destroy anything. Put a spherical helix spring on the end with a corkshrew core encased by a rubber washer it will send what ever you hit flying. But than why do rectangle trampolines work better than round ones?

  • @08016بوب
    @08016بوب Год назад +5

    DO NOT TRY THIS! This may seem very nice at first when you are clinching your fist watching RUclips. But by holding your hand this way will overextend your knuckle joint and the ligament therein. Hit with any force you will risk tearing it. I tried it during training, a month has passed my middle knuckle is still swollen and middle finger lost some mobility. Honestly it is rather disappointing no caution was provided in the video, being a professional and all😂

      Dude is a quack I’m afraid. You’re welcome to try punching this way, but I wouldn’t recommend it. If your knuckles hit someone’s skull without protection, it doesn’t matter what you do with your fingers, you’ll get a boxers fracture if you hit hard enough. That’s why palm strikes are recommended for self defence

    If you know how to do it you can make a "cub paw" where you land ur punches with the outside of your finger knuckles when your hand is cupped and keep your fingers structures so they collapse structurally but you can hold fingers up with muscle power. Now you can make contact in sparing or kung fu movies without actually hurting your friend. I call it "Cub Paw" its basically punching with your last finger knuckles curved in such a way so your fingers become bendy twigs instead of hammers.
    Its basically the exact opposite of packing your fist as efficiently as possible.

But you CAN break your thumb if you mess up and thumb gets caught on something. But it really does make your fist tighter sometimes I fist clench like this when im walking around as training. After holding a super tight fist for 5 minutes it feels pretty prickly.
    I havent tried tucking the last 2 fingers in with your triangle style Ill have to play around with it.

It's smooth with no eternal kick back. I used to walk with military hands everywhere. The fingers curl with the thumb holding the first finger by its middle fold. Then by that straighten the arm and its more power that the grenade hold punch. I used it one time an it fractured a cheek bone. I threw it as a jab. Look up how the US soldier hand is when marching. It's in this position relaxed.
