- Welcome to Skinwalker Hunt! This is a game very similar to Bigfoot, where you have to hunt down a terrible monster. I've played this before but they added a new map that I wanted to check out as well! This time we go to the Chernobyl forest. We played on the hardest difficulty as well! I hope you enjoy! the true skin-walker lore is that a skin-walker can change into anything, but it also always has giant claws that it needs to hide, so the animal will always look wrong like a wolf with claws hanging out between the legs and will go into full size when attacking (3 meter tall). it eat anything, from animals in the wild to buried people and it used to be a navajo witch/shaman who communicated with the dead. it takes the form of it's victims, meaning that it can change into a human victim and even mimic it's voice
I love how you're supposed to come to kill a horrible creature and the weapon of choice is always the slowest rifle to load.
Skinwalkers are a legend or cryptid creature from the Navajo, it's basically an evil entity or witch that can transform or disguise itself as animals and creatures, even sometimes as people, who then encounter the Navajo people to battle, sometimes killing them or being killed, or ending in stalemates or being scared off. Very interesting stuff. Not much is known about even what the Navajo believe about them because they generally will refuse to discuss the subject with non-Navajo outsiders. It's sort of a cultural secret. The skinwalker in this game looks more like a Wendigo but they probably called it a Skinwalker because it sounds scarier lol
fyi for those skull totems that you destroy, it's actually a "tool" of wendigo's/skinwalker which allows the creature to see through the totem, much like a video camera in bigfoot. (that is why the skull totem turns to look at you when u look away, and is why he gets mad when u destroy his only means of vision to cover areas)
Gotta play Witch Hunt. It's their first game but it's a more complete game versus Skinwaller since it's still in development. It's versus AI so no need to wait.
I recomend to play "Porkchop's Adventure", its a game around 3-4 hours long about a person being stuck in a building playing some old-style video game while waiting for electricity to come back up so he can use a elevator to get out of the building, but there might or not might be a deadly pig animatronic there with him, overall its a very fun game with multiple endings, dont wanna spoil too much about the game

In this game it’s not Insym running from and avoiding the monster, it’s the monster that’s absolutely terrified of meeting our living legend!
Insym is one of the most wholesome creatures i know :3 that happiness after the midair kill of the worshipper

a tip for people playing this game. if you have at least 3 or more med-kits on you. it is suggested to upgrade your totems to increase the range. simply do it once, then heal. and if you get up to 3 or more med-kits, do it again with other totems.
unless you are confidant then if you have more than 2 med-kits then that's when you start upgrading them.
Skinwalkers and wendigos are very different. You should look into the lore on them. It's pretty intense

But traditionally a Skin-walker is basically a vengeful (or evil) shaman in Native American lore, specifically the Navajo tribe(pronounced Na-vuh-hoe). It is tradition for medicine men and women to practice both good and evil magic in order to heal; and better understand their magic. However, there are some who travel down the path of using evil magic exclusively, drawn to the seductive nature of it. Stories of the Skin-walkers are closely guarded by the Navajo people and rarely discussed with any outsiders.
Because the stories are so well guarded it is common for non-fiction media to try and fill in the blanks and/or take creative/transformative liberties with the lore. I don't see any issue with taking a topic and bending the rules to provide a fun experience, especially if the sole purpose of your product is to be fun and entertaining.
In the game, I would postulate that the humans - that are wearing robes and a deer skull - are probably more akin to a Skin-walker; and the creature is either a Skin-walker that practiced evil magic so severely that the magic began transforming its physical appearance or it's something that the Skin-walkers summoned. -though I would say the creature more resembles a Wendigo (which is also a creature from Native American lore). One thing the game was correct on, Skin-walkers are capable of possessing animals (hence the name, Skin-walker).

I am not superstitious - but the Skinwalker is one of the few superstitions I believe in. My family and I dare say it's name, only in writing will we call it 'Skinwalker'. Aliases such as 'Skinny' or 'Walker' are okay, just do not call it by name.
My Godmother has heard her daughter when she was away, I have heard my own family members when I knew for a fact they were away. That, is the Skinwalker.

It actually doesn't make sense for the water to be radioactive, since its void coefficient is high. That's why it's used in nuclear reactors. Ionizing radiation finds it difficult to get through water, for reasons I don't care to explain.

With the totems, what's the maximum range they'll grow to? I'd hope you couldn't plant one by the ambulance and expand it too much.
You can only decrease once, so I assume you can only increase once too.

Aye insym! Could you possibly check out "The Wendigo" or "Folklore Hunter" They're great horror games that you might like, kinda similar to this. Folklore hunter is similar to bigfoot, but has two monsters you can hunt or be hunted by. Bloodfang (think vampire) or the wendigo.
