I really loved how suspenseful this game is, it feels really scary to walk around an abandoned and creepy ship while there is a crazy monster on the loose. I wanna see more. Other escape routes against other monster and maybe you wanna, if you are further into it, you can do a challenge run like preparing all escape routes at once etc.
That is an awesome game Sym. A couple of genuine jump scares and an excellent atmosphere of high tension terror. Such fun! You have to play this some more! Great vid.☺👍
Can't believe he found 3 out of 4 helicopter objectives before even finding the helicopter.

There’s a lot more mechanics with this game. Need to learn more such as running will alert the monster where you are at. Monsters always spawn in your approximate locations. You can use duct tape to cover up surveillance cameras. You can use alarm clocks and radio to get the monster to break the door for you there’s a lot of key items in locked rooms.
Duct tape + video cam was shown in the loading screen. But he was reading chat and he missed it :D
They were trying to tell him about running in his chat but the mods took that as spoilers and deleted every comment about it 🤦♂️

Not gonna lie, a map like this would be pretty sweet for phasmo, although probably make it a fair bit smaller so it wouldn't be utter pain to get around on. Also would either need to be at dock or with a new boat to act as the truck to get onboard the vessel.
This map makes no flashlight Asylum look easy to navigate

Oh. My. God. This is the perfect combination of Insym and the sickest horror game that was before Phasmophobia. It’s gonna be a great evening.
A "Queen Mary" map would be a cool addition to Phasmophobia for sure.
I played this game dozens of times, and I forgot how it is for someone playing it for the first time with no clue XD
I also didn't put much tought on it, but the monster able to "disable" one escape route is quite the innovation in games like this one.
Too bad devs decided to go multiplayer with Monstrum II, saw some videos and it looks like a Dead by Daylight ripoff to me, a game that gets old and boring fast unless you play it with a premade group of friends... Not my vibe
It's a real shame what they did with Monstrum 2. They broke into a rather barren genre with a really good game, and then tried to compete with huge game companies in an oversaturated genre.
They had potential to build on the first game, but they squandered it.
@винтовка I just got done surfing through the reviews and community steam page... It's very very sad the state of the game as it is now. I didn't care much about M2 for the very same reason I don't play DbD: it seems like a game that is only fun with a stable group of friends to play it with... Which I don't have.
As far as I saw, Junkfish basically banned their most loyal players for expressing negative feedbacks. So much for shaping the game basing on feedbacks. I'll stick to M1 if I want to play a good horror game and stay away from M2 even if for some reason I'm looking for multiplayer-only ones.

The only one other person I’ve seen play this game and beat it, which took awhile cause it is hard, was Markiplier. I have no seen this game in such a long time, good job man.

One of my favorite short horror games! There's still some things for you to discover it seems ;)
Brute used to be the only enemy, and they all got a gimmick, strength and weaknesses.
The sequel is a 4v1 multiplayer that didn't go so well...
Would love to see you attempt the 2nd and 3rd escape :D Hope you can figure out what went wrong with the Submarine ending! Not going to say more than that ;)
Hey Insym! Just thought I'd let you know that that full game of Inscryption (you played the demo and seemed to enjoy it) is out! I've beat the game so if you had any questions about it for streaming quality purposes I'd be happy to help answer. The two things I will preface is that I beat the game in about 12 hours and that I enjoyed the full game much more than I enjoyed the demo.

Yes. I was sad too but I think it makes the game being deleted all the more meaningful because you weren't able to play through all the games Magnificus and Grimora had set up.

I love this game. I followed a youtuber a few years ago who tried to beat the game. He got 2 differenr endings, but with the same monster.

@@aaronh678 I have played the game for not that long but for long enough to say that 1000 hours is understandable. Messing with the monsters is so Easy and funny, I know a few glitches that can get you out of bounds with the fiend. all around an amazing game!

hey Insym the thing with the other two is that the hunter or what you call the demogorgon is probably the easiest monster to deal with since it doesn’t actually look for you and instead relies on you to make noises near vents or get too close to the traps it lays around which it then spawns at, then the fiend is easy to tell if it is nearby if you look at the lights, if they start to flicker then it is near, hope that helps.
Man this was pretty nostalgic. I remember watching Markiplier play this game a long time ago.
You did a good job figuring stuff out quickly. This game can be pretty intimidating at first when you have no idea what's happening and what you need to look for. But you just crush it. :)

Well the constant running was the most anxiety inducing, while that journal was complete trash & unreadable cause of the camera height bug
Hey i really love how you play games you want to learn on your own. It's annoying when everyone wants to tell you how to play etc the horror in a game is the unknown. Like for example when you run and don't expect the killer or Ai to respond to that and suddenly a chase starts
21:20 helicopters use a different fuel source, whilst they might (depending on engine) be able to use any ole gasoline, some use a specific fuel source like for example jp-8 which is essentially diesel jet fuel. Also helicopters usually use a fuel pump cause where do you think you can go with like 10L's of fuel in the middle of the ocean of god knows where, in a thing that guzzles fuel faster than a frat party consuming booze?
So why am I ranting about this? Idk, kinda forgot mid-rant... ah well cheers for the video

There are 3 endings in monstrum
A raft
A Helicopter
A Sub
For the raft you use duct tape to patch holes
You fill it with the pump
Then use a crane to lower it into the water after putting a chain on the crane to use it
The heli must be freed from the deck with the bolt cutters
You then need to get the fuel pump from one of the nearby containers and fill the heli with fuel
Turning on the pump attracts the monster and you can’t let the monster break the pump
And last you need the key to open the heli door
Then you get in
For the sub you have to power up the area in the sub room with a fuse
Then you need to put in a headlight, battery pack and weld the side on the sub fixing it
Then you have to power the sub which takes a little bit and will call the monster over
You also can’t let the monster break the sub, then you release the sub and get it
Also when you use the fuel pump and power the sub you have to bait the monster somewhere else
By being bait or using a radio or egg timer

There's only 3 monsters The Brute, The Hunter, and The Fiend (in order easiest to hardest in my opinion) they all have different abilities and different ways to find them, for example as you saw, The Fiend has a purple aura, and The Brute is just loud, The Hunter is silent, but easily identifiable, in case you play this again use this info as you will, it's super short lived and really only a 1 time play type game, but most of the time it's fun, Monstrum 2 is out now I believe, if not it will be soon. First tip for playing Monstrum: never touch Monstrum 2, like don't even bother with it.
Tipp: I you don't hide enough fast the monster will find you hiding and ripe you out of your hide place, whenever that happens the game gives you a few seconds to run.
Insym: "I don't like blood"
Also Insym: "There's more blood there. Let's go to the blood"

You can notice through the video there's a bug in the game where your character model grows taller over time, when he is turning the red valves the animation is correct at first but after staying alive for over 30 mins his hand is way higher and his head looks like it's almost touching the ceiling xD If you stay alive for long enough your camera view will go out of bounds
