- This Indie game is AWESOME! This game scared me so much. There is something so incredibly real about this situation that you can't help but immerse yourself. I really loved Fears to Fathom Norwood Hitchhike and I cannot wait for more episodes in this series! Let me know what you think, much love and see you during the streams :D

Some cool details that will help explain the story:
- The white van that left after Insym got to his car is actually the white shirt guy's van ( who hid in the closet and killed us in bad ending and the guy that broke into our room in true ending).
- So the creepy guy at 48:34 if you open the door and follow him you will see he go into room 4 which is where the coffee machine is placed. And about this coffee machine ( it's actually a trap set up by the white shirt guy, he actually put sleeping pill in coffee ( explains why all types of coffee are free to buy ) and he did it because when you fall asleep he can sneak into your closet.
- So you realised that it's the same guy that both hid in the closet and broke into our room in both endings. So if you are wondering how he got out. When you were trying to show Joe the coffee machine at 1:09:16, if you turn around and pay close attention to your room, you will see a guy ran out of your room and if you follow him, it will lead you to a white van that was parked near a bush (which I believe is used for transporting the coffee machine and that's why there is no coffee machine when we show it to Joe).
- The reason why the manager didn't want the police to get involved is because at 35:29.
- EDIT: At 10:26 the store manager mentioned about 2 colors white and blue. And if you don't know those are the colors of the shirts of the 2 culprits in this case ( The white shirt guy and the guy who took us to the motel ).
- EDIT #2: The reason I think the blue shirt guy is the accomplice in this case becuase:
+ At 30:20 the car you see is the same one with the one at 11:44 and it belongs to the blue shirt guy. The way the car was parked was very sus (11:44), if he is just a normal person stopped by to buy food or fuel tank then why would he park the car at a very dark place and out of sight instead of in front of the store.
+ Whenever you get close to him (when in the store) you will see that he will always quickly turn around like he was spying on us before. And also the way he knows everything you and manager talked about at the store (about the Norwood Valley monster)
=> And this made me think that his job is to try to determine their "preys", the white shirt guy will have the job to break their car and murder them, then the blue shirt guy will approach them and take them to the motel, where they will commit their crime. ( I have been trying so hard to find some more details like the paper roll brand, the computer type used, the dog food brand, the car, the Norwood incident or even the monster ... but didn't find any infos ).

the guy who took us to the motel actually has a blue shirt with white stripes so he fits the description even better. Which makes me think he was just a red herring who seemed too creepy to actually be the killer

Someone honking at you, in the US, isn't always a rude thing. It could be someone saying 'Hi' or trying to keep you awake on a night drive. Yes, people honk on dark roads to keep themselves and other drivers from falling asleep behind the wheel. But don't do it yourself, people have road rage. Lookin' at you insym.
Also! Remember that story of a woman who was being chased by a man honking his horn? He chased her forever until she got out of the car and ran into a gas station, only for him to run in and tells her that he was trying to warn her. At the last gas station, he had seen a man crawl into her back seat, but by the time he had gotten outside, she was already taking off down the road.
The police found the man in her back seat. I don't remember exactly what crime he intend to commit, if not several to her, but this was a true story. Be safe E>
Thankfully most cars automatically lock when you walk 5 ft away from them these days. No chance now for somebody to get into your car with your back turned.
oh yea, i've had ppl honk at me when i forgot to shut my gas tank after fueling. Also on old country roads like in this game, had people honk to warn that there was a cop lurking ahead speed checking ppl. So when the other vehicle honked, i was like "shit, something's fucked up ahead." in this case, must have been about the logs in the road. considering it was the van, probably from before, that did so, i assume the driver was the one who blocked the road.

I don't think it was him honking the horn. The story I heard was that he would flash his high beams every time the guy in the back seat was going for the kill. Forcing the guy to slink back down. I think I read that story in one of those Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark books.

The gas station had phone service, and you had only been driving for like 3 minutes. I feel like it would have made more sense to just hike back to the station to call help than to wait 40 minutes for a hitchhiker

Something regarding the logs in the middle of the street.
A friend of mine told me a story about another friend of theirs, (female) who was in the same situation, in the middle of the forest, a pretty big branch in the middle of the road, but there was another driver behind her, she got out, removed the branch, and started driving again, the person behind her started honking and flashing the lights like crazy, so she got scared, and even texted her father to get out of the house and meet her outside. When she finally got to her home; the other driver followed her there; her father was waiting for her, she stopped, and the other driver jumped out of his car, ran over, and her father was ready to confront him about why he would follow his daughter, but the driver just said: „I followed you and wanted to signal you that someone snuck into your car.“ and at that second a person with dark clothes actually fled from the rear seats into a small nearby forest.

Holy crap that's terrifying. But the guy that followed her and started honking probably saved her from harm. It would have made the perpetrator think twice about attacking with a witness he could hear was following closely behind her.

I really love these longplay build-up horror games you play. They're a lot of fun to watch with you. My only complaint would be the timing of the ads on these videos being absolutely terrible sometimes. I know you need to make money off of these, and I'm not at all faulting you for that. It's just a bit souring to the experience when the ads completely destroy the tension in certain places.
I just thought I'd comment about this because I think you could definitely improve it without even removing the ads or anything, just moving the midrolls to more "dead" areas of the gameplay, like when you're reading the text messages, etc.

The ads are automatically placed by RUclips. I remove like 50%-75% of all the ads youtube places (because they tend to place one every 5 minutes throughout the whole video). Really annoying! I'll fix it for this video :D

I made it till end of the map. Just leave the car and walk. Yup, it’s possible- blocked road is there, bridges are there, but after spending 30 minutes the map ends- no motel

It was spectacular, it's a game that always keeps you very tense, and the voices you add make it even more amazing
This story was a mix of at least three different stories I read/heard while being a completely unique one and it definitely made it more tense and spooky.

I remember when I lived in the US, there were plenty of roads like that with no lights around. Driving on the island I lived on during night time was true horror - all forest, no lights and endless streets with no cars on them! You can believe me, it was the creepiest thing ever!

7:12 - Doooooooood. It took me so long to realise this! I'm from Canada, where cars are virtually essential to everyday life, and we weren't even taught this in driver's ed. My dad actually taught me about this, maybe about 2 years after I was licensed to drive without supervision. You're from a country that doesn't rely on cars nearly as much as we do, and it sounds like your instructors are better than ours. Also, bonus points for pulling over before checking your text messages, which like nobody does here either. ResponsibleSym.
Driving laws are typically provincial, and the weird thing with Canada is that it also depends on the city your in and how much the schools emphasize driving safety- I'm from Canada as well, and I learned all these things while I still had my learners license (I could drive, but only with a supervisor and 1 additional passenger). Whenever I travel though, I can tell the other drivers on the road were taught different.

For the classroom portion of our driver's ed we had this guy who always spoke with his best "Brooklyn NY taxi driver" impression, with the kind of exaggerated intensity that you only hear in the movies, and no joke, he would tell us that every car handles the same. Sedan? Pickup? Sports car? Smartcar? Exact same. No noticeable difference whatsoever. So it's entirely possible I just didn't have the best teachers, lol.
It reminds of a game with the same premise with weird motel where you'll be chased around by the killer.
This is simple but better than the first episode of this game, I hope more from this devs and can't wait for 3rd chapter... But if these are trully based from true stories, well I hope people involved with these crazy scenes are doing well and survived.

Just always make sure whenever you’re traveling to let people you trust know where you are, where you came from, where you’re headed, and the route you’re taking. It can seem a little paranoid to some people, but it’s always better safe than sorry. You don’t need to worry, just be vigilant and aware of your surroundings- and the most important part: listen to your gut! It’s always right. If it’s telling you something doesn’t feel right in a situation, then something isn’t right. Always listen to that instinct my friend. Be safe out there friend!

if this happens to u irl, it was advised to us to hitch the car to the back of your car instead while its on neutral, that way the stranded person can still steer with you when u make turns, thats why always bring a hitch rope with you, lads, it's much safer than actually tiding beside them in their car.
