- Welcome to Pilgrim! This is a brand new horror game like Lethal Company that deserves a lot more attention. It has so many cool, unique ideas and it has a lot of potential. The only issue is that it's quite buggy but the developer is really active with updates so hopefully this will be fixed soon. ENJOY!

What I didn't notice until later is that you have no time limit like lethal company. You can technically stay at each point as long as you want . I typically play solo so time limit really makes it difficult for me to play lethal company unless I use a mod to extend the days.
Oh there is a time limit eventually... Trust me... It just is very lenient early... Hahahaha. I won't spoil it!
@@fleurdespooksI figured it would become more rushed later. I was wondering if it had to do with the giant that Insym et all saw. When I first watched the VOD I wondered if he caught up to the wagon because they loitered too long in one area. I am also wondering if the gaps between the stops becomes larger, requiring more than one crystal, which makes it more dangerous. I look forward to finding out the later progression! :)
Holy Molly, this game is a gem. The resurrection mechanic was so cool and made the death so important. As long as 1 crew is alive, everyone could survive.

Lethal Company is just surviving by getting quota while Pilgrim is just "Survive and keep going (Mandatory), and you only get paid by a homeless Joe (Optional)" or something
You know what would be insanely creepy? 36:34 in situations like this, where there‘s multiple people together, have one of them slowly turn into a monster without anyone noticing, and then have it follow the group and stay quiet. After some time it‘ll then turn on the rest of the group, and when you ask if everything is okay, it‘s just silence.
12:28 I love the particle effects of the lanterns in the wind. Small simple effects like this add immersion and make the world feel more alive.

If I saw the chatlog correctly, I believe the Dev called the giant, "The Stalker", so that's interesting. Kinda curious how all the AI work of the monsters in this game.

I'm currently liking this more than Lethal Company. I don't know if this game is better designed, but a like the aesthetics of this game more.
I agree; I like this more than Lethal Company so far. The mechanics seem pretty well thought-out, and I like that you don't end up going to the same places over and over (like going to the same moons in Lethal Company).
I also like that death means something and isn't completely trivial.
I would love to see more of this! Seems so fun! Plus it looks like you guys had a blast. (Poor psycho with the bugs tho. 🤣) but at least said bugs are fixed which is awesome! Hope this game gets more traction. The developer did a great job with ambience and creepiness.

Minor trick, but learn double pressing E every time you reach a wall torch into your muscle memory, so it always refills your torch at the same time and you don't have to remember to do it.

Also, I doubt you can just push the cart the whole time right? There has to be some sort of limit and/or death for doing it?
I think the giant is probably the time limit, so if you only push it'll catch up really quickly.
But it only kills 1 person and breaks the door? so not really that punishing of a time limit NGL.

I'm really enjoying Sketchy's Contract, the developer has done a lot to improve the experience and continues to seek out feedback to make good changes, I'd like to see you guys go back to that one sometime and hear thoughts.

This game is so good. I watched the live stream. Even the developer was in the chat. Everyone agreed that the game is awesome and just needs to fix the bugs. I am so glad that the developer has already done so. I hope he took adequate breaks between fixing them lol. W developer and W game.

2:24:41 not always I have played a few games you hit the stuck button and then your falling threw the world. Yet I have played a few if you get stuck you loose all your items and have to retrieve them.

I wonder if you can use the torches on the side of the wagon to light your own? Not as convenient since its on the outside walls and you probably have to step outside the wagon (unless you can reach through the window?), but at least that way you can refuel both oil lamp and torch just from the wagon.

Crystal goblin: little humanoid that hangs around crystal spawn if you have it will steal the crystal and run off
Nightwalkers: bigger than the average player coverage in ragged looking skin no face just black eyes they are afraid of the light and will not attack you if you have light source on you
Devourer: massive flesh monster that runs on all fours sunken eyes and large mouth with tongue hanging out has great eyesight and will chase player until they leave line of sight
Giant ogre: these massive creature can be encountered on the road and will slowly chase your wagon until it catches up and eats someone gates can stop it from showing up
Statues of the damned: these enemies will move quickly when not in line of site but will burn and turn to stone if looked at
This is so fun, and it holds more players tooo! And the sprint is so good
Really nice games , cant wait to see you play more of it

Only problem right now is my game FPS dropping a lot currently, I don't understand why its so laggy and I have a pretty good PC. One of the problem right now is the particle system of the torch when you light one. I usually do e two times but it makes two time to animation so it makes 2 times more particle and it's does make some bad lag
