- Here is a quick video of my new Cold air intake (CAI) I installed on my hummer H2. My overall review is that I like it much better. It cleans up under the hood nicely and really adds a nice touch to the look. Not bad for under $100!

Wanted to say even sometime later, I'm impressed with what's underneath your hood.
I have a clean 2007 H2 that is Glacier Blue Metallic but seeing what you have under the hood has inspired me. Thanks.
Thanks man.
Dude your truck engine and CAI installation looks absolutely fantastic. It's incredible and the absolute best I've ever seen period. Phenomenal work bud and a job well done, enjoy!!!!!💪😎💪👍😁👌
Thanks! Much appreciated
@@NextLevelCarAudio You're welcome I really enjoyed the video.😎
You should do a efan conversion and get rid of that sucky clutch fan. Do a factory E fan swap. That would be a cool video since there isn’t a lot of videos of Efan swaps for the Hummer H2 plat form. As a matter of fact I didn’t see none.
Nice, clean job bro! Where did you get the alternator from?
J Lang down4sound they will beat any competitors prices.
You gotta link on for that cold air kit bro? I'm a fellow Hummer rider.... What about it's function? Did it make the 6.0 breath better?
i like how i can hear the engine more. can hear it sucking in air too which is cool to me. not sure on actual performance. I bought it on ebay.... did a quick search but could no longer find the same one for sale anymore. sorry.
@@NextLevelCarAudio You can check your purchase history and id the store you purchased from.
Best I could get is an item number. If it helps anyone. 171091840548 search on eBay for it I guess. Should pop up
Very clean!
quick question. i assume the top of the air box hits the hood and seals it up right? but then you see where the air filter sits in the airbox and where the air pipe comes in? there is a gap there where hot air could come into the airbox. have you thought about sealing that? i noticed that some brands have that part insulated whether its a big piece of rubber so that no hot air can get into the air box
or am i over thinking?
thanks
No, you are right. i was totally thinking about sealing that off. Will probably do that one of these days.
Did adding the Cold air Intake cause your engine light on the dash to come on? There are several videos on youtube about these causing problems.Just Curious.
Nope. No light
@@NextLevelCarAudio Very Cool.I will start looking for one.
Can you give me an update? Do you still have this or do you switch it? Are you happy with it? It looks nice but how does it perform. can you send me a link. I trying to buy one but I can never found one with the cover where the filter is.
No longer available from where I got it. Which was from eBay. I love it tho! Performs and looks great!
@@NextLevelCarAudio is there another different one. Because when I search on eBay it says it will fit a hummer but when I look at the pics they all straight pipes they don't have that 90-degree turn at the end
I’ve looked for other people too and have not found one even close to the one I got
@@NextLevelCarAudio that sucks. I found some by they 400 to 600. I didn't want to pay that much
:/ sorry man. Wow
I bought the same one. Stumped on how to get the mass air flow sensor in there. Did you have to cut the red rubber price in half to clamp the MAF in there? Or did you use the stock gasket from the MAF somehow?
I’ll take a look. I don’t recall. Been a while
Yeah, so seems like there may be 1 piece that is different from mines that is causing that to happen. Because it all just slid together seamlessly for mines :/
What is the brand and part number
Looks cool...im planning a snorkel air intake...it raises your fuel economy 3-7 more miles per gallon.
No it doesn't
Can you share a link to this same model on ebay? I can't find it.
Looks like it’s not available anymore.... might find it somewhere else
What was the Diameter size of the filter
Hey man, sorry for just now gettin' back to you. if your talking about the filter tube that connects to the MAF sensor. the filter was 5" and required a step down silicone adapter to fit the MAF which i believe was 4". let me know if you were looking for something else and i can measure. thanks
@@NextLevelCarAudio hey man nice job I’m having the same issue where did you get the silicone adapter
Mechman.com website
What's the link ,to the Seller for the intake?
aintdah1 i went to go look it up via eBay and it’s not available anymore. Sorry. They have one listed when doing a search for red Hummer H2 intake, but Is now listed for over $1,000!!! Makes no sense as I bought mines for $99. Sorry :/
What a good way to destroy the motor
shaun langston How so? Motor runs perfect, better MPG, and looks phenomenally better than the retarded OEM intake. This is a show/stereo demo car. Not a daily driver.... anyway.
Yeah , I would like to know why you say it would destroy the motor ?
I think he's trying to say he wants to rent your Hummer to do a music video
🤣
