Quick timing chain/ tensioner question. I’m putting my 2007 5.3 Ly5 back together after doing BTR DOD kit. Went with stage 2 cam. Kit came with 3 hole timing gear as well as chain dampener. My question is when I install dampener there is a little chain slip. Is this normal or should I use oem tensioner?
