    As someone who's working on their LS swap as we speak, I do appreciate the summit links in the description, that eliminates the need to search their massive site 👍

    You can also put a guage right on the regulator on that port on the front of it using a cheap adapter. That saves having to add than 2nd AN connector with a port on it. Great videos - really appreciate them!

    My LS swap runs great with the stock GM fuel system and I get great gas mileage & horsepower, I remember just adding just one AN fitting to the fuel line. I feel like summit is trying sell something we don't need.

    First time watching your channel. Dude! I hope you don't take this wrong but you're the Bob Ross of car how to. I just happened on your channel because I'm doing the same thing on my 55. You should butterfly your adel clamps for the fuel lines(looks better) and on the vent put a standoff or spacer where the filler tube attaches and secure it there. Good install though.

    Only Problem is I can't have any fuel lines on my firewall.
    How far from the carbs can I be with the regulator? I'm thinking of going all the way to the front then up to the front of the motor. I don't have any place to mount the regulator up by the blower. Can I put it on the frame and run a 24in long line up? What kind of pressure drop will I see on acceleration?
    This is for my 57 Blown SBC 750hp dual 750s

    First off merry Christmas from the Mississippi Delta!
    So question...why did you cap off the rail closest to the regulator and route the feed line further away? Is there a space issue behind the closer rail that we can't see or is there another reason?

    Hey Ryan - love the videos! With a return line, diagrams I have seen put the bypass regulator after the fuel rails so it's controlling the pressure in the rails as fuel is consumed, and the guage is seeing the rail pressure. Pump -> rail1 -> rail2 -> regulator. Do you get any problems running it before?

    • @2carpros
      @2carpros  Год назад

      Thanks for watching! I don't see a problem running it that way, just seems a little more complicated.
      As fuel is used the pressure drops so the regulator will let more in for our set up.

    Great video Ryan! Couple of questions: 1) I thought AN sizes were 6, 8, 10 but you have 7 and 7.5 wrenches - are those from Summit?
    2) you reference another video where you make the fuel you make the fuel line?

      AN (Army/Navy) is just first number of 1/16 increments. 3 =3/16”, 6= 6/16” so it’s a 3/8”, etc.

    Thanks for the upload. Iam still confused about the regulator. My 350 with 650cfm and 320hp is low in pressure I think. What regulator makes sense? Bypass? Back line? Dead head? Want just have a in and out to the carb. Possible? Thanks

    • @2carpros
      @2carpros  11 месяцев назад

      Yeah just have a line run from the fuel pump to the regulator, regulate down to 8 psi, run the return to the tank, then run the pressure line to the carb. All done. I'm assuming you have a pump in the tank like this setup. Thanks for watching!

    • @2carpros
      @2carpros  10 месяцев назад

      Yeah definitely! You just might want a smaller gauge capacity so the resolution of the gauge is easier to see. You also could go with a way weaker fuel pump if all you need is 6. Thanks for watching!
