Actually, for pilots, it IS effortless. Once you know how to do it, it's very easy. My cousin is a pilot for American Airlines. He tells me flying is the easiest part of his job. It's other things (e.g., human relations) that he finds to be a headache.
Woozler554 Thank you for your comments. I am sure you are right. People now a days are extremely rude, demanding, and all they seem to care about is themselves. No sense of courtesy, consideration or respect anymore. Airline workers endure a lot and have far more responsibilities than people realize. Hoping your cousin is always safe.
Whew that summertime heat makes that girl use up runway, doesn’t she? (Y’all know I’m referring to the Queen herself when I call her “girl” or “old girl” or “bad girl”, right? I daresay I would not be so disrespectful to the First Officer! Just so you know. I love the Queen of the Skies as most of us do❤️)!
I'm not a pilot, just an aviation/747 fan. But to me, I would think that the fact that the pilots are sitting so high above the runway, nearly 40 ft, would give the sensation that it's going much slower than it actually is. Perhaps a 747 pilot can shed some light on this because yes...they look like they won't get off the ground sometimes when you look at these take offs...lol.🙂
The camera shoots a certain amount of images per seconds, the display shows a certain amount of images per second. if the camera and the display are not in sync it seems like the display is flashing, but it's not.
