- Thanks for checking out this video! This is parts one, two, and three of rating Spider-Man villains on if they would be scary in real life. I loved making these and I hope you all don’t mind the re-uploads to have them all in one place. Spider-Man villains are super fun to talk about and think about. I’m thinking Superman villains will be next so let me know what you think of that. If you want me to do more Spider-Man villains, make sure to comment what villains you think I should do next. Tomorrow morning there is a new video coming out that I am super proud of. It will feature a lot of the art you all entered in the art video. So if you wanted to enter in that make sure to submit your art. It’s a little bit different so be ready for that. But regardless, it means a lot that you checked out this video. You all are the best.

Don’t forget Green Goblin terrorizes New York just to either get Spider-Man’s attention or to slow him down. So even if Norman doesn’t have a grudge against you, he’d still be terrifying. You could be on your way to work and then boom, the whole street blew up because the Green Goblin wanted to make an entrance like in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Is New York just cursed in the marvel universe or something

The reason for it was just as horrifying as the action itself. Basically, a sentient zombified Spiderman from another universe accidentally entered a classical Spiderman one. He attempts to go back to being a hero but can't control himself when fighting the sinister six and brutally murders them much to everyone's terror. Sandman watched all this and in both vengeance and terror, killed Spiderman. But this was not the Spiderman that killed the other villains, but rather the original Spiderman of that world. @@Scarletspiderofyoutube

Fighting Spider-Man, unrestrained, would be HORRIFYING...; punching jaws off, using his wall crawling powers to rip off faces, suffocation from web, etc

So I’ve mentioned this before but in the 90s Vulture was an energy vampire. Yup his suit would suck the life out of you and then make him younger and stronger. So there is an entire era of Spider-Man books where he does this in the main continuity.
And in the noir universe, he literally ate uncle ben. Yeah.

That scene in Raimi's Spider-man 2 with Oc and the surgeons, that was a horror scene in a superhero movie, he would be terrifying irl

@@spencergeorge4077 is right. Kingpin's not a villain to be taken lightly. If you pissed him off, all he'd need to do is snap his fingers and he'll have his gang of thugs eliminate you, in less than a New York minute. Or, he could go after you himself, and crush your head with a car door.

Plus in some comics the lizard is fast enough to dodge bullets
He doesn't need to dodge them (even tho he's surprisingly fast). His scales are durable already & 1 of his powers is regeneration

@@siphon1211 yep. I like how they utilized his regeneration in the TASM1. For some reason it never occurred to me b4 that movie that 1 of The Lizard's powers was regeneration (duh, his whole arm grew back lol). It would be so much scarier now
although if for some reason doc ock decides you know what f*ck you and goes after you, you're going to have a hard time running because he uses the arms for mobility

In my opinion, the lizard in the Spider-Man 2 game, is a creature from the deepest parts of hell
I don't know what powers you're thinking vulture has, but it's (at least in one of the cartoon versions in the 90s) he has the ability to drain youth /vitality from his victims - he gets younger, while they get older. This particular version (and probably no others) might be somewhat scarry if he could figure out to actually make the transfer permanent.
William Dafoe laughing like a mad man as Tom punches away at his face was pretty unnerving.

That's not a villain, that's just a hater.
He sees Spidey swinging in that skin tight costume and gainst strange feelings which he tries to supress in the closet so he acts exactly like somebody who denies that he's in the closet.
Jameson is just gay, and in the closet so out of frustration he needs to vent it out and he vents it out to the object of his obsession. He's so in love with spider-man that he would be shocked if he knew spidermans actual age when spiderman started fighting crime.

If the wall existed I would lowkey be terrified. Not by him per se, but just the idea that if a bunch of random bullshit can fall on you and ruin your life by transforming you into an inanimate object like a wall would have me super paranoid of any high up objects that could potentially fall on me.

9:06 Carnage is a smaller than Venom but has his every ability amplified, he has no weaknesses(usually sometimes they are reduced), he has had multiple variations of the ability to make copies of himself and has used tendrils to scout all of New York.

Okay, on the one hand yes, the Superior Spider-Man is truly terrifying. On the other hand though, his catchphrase and battle cry is “the die is cast” so that’s gotta knock him down a few points

I think Imsomniac Venom as featured in Spider-man 2 would be absolutely terrifying IRL. From the point it reveals it's name, it seems utterly unhinged. The fact you have to break through and can then, perhaps, talk if you're lucky but then it'll try to re-grow, ewwww, and the fact that if you get it off it could still be inside you somehow? Hang on but what I don't get about that part of it, is what would it be doing inside of you? You've no longer got the suit on, so even if it could still influence personality, you wouldn't be able to help it with it's goals because you don't have as much simbiot power as such.

In real life people would see the Vulture in the same way as that one guy who climbed trump tower with suction cups and *only* suction cups.
also with venom, most of the time he's taking over whole cities with his symbiote, so even if you are on the other side of the city to him you arent safe, he wants to take over the ENTIRE world, and yeah carnage is this too but 100x worse

Most antagonists in the series definitely would be absolutely bone chilling if they actually existed, especially the ones that do much worse things than killing you, like the Symbiotes or Connors and his bioweapon.
Big Wheel would unironically be terrifying. Its basically a better armed and more mobile version of the Killdozer. Imagine unleashing that on New York. Absolutely horrific.

While main 616 vulture may not be very scary, but in the noir storyline he’s the most disturbing character ever. He’s one of the main enforcers of Norman Osborn, the goblin, and used to be a circus bird tamer before he went insane and fled. Norman found him living in a cage on a roof eating chickens alive. In the noir universe, vulture fucking ATE UNCLE BEN

I feel like venom has a lot more potential for fear than you mention. In addition to the existential crisis that a lot of people would go through knowing that there's an alien living on earth, there would also be widespread paranoia and misinformation. Anyone could have a symbiote, and you'd never know. Your neighbors, your friends. There could be conspiracies that it's a mind-controlling parasite, hell-bent on silently controlling the world. Venom has the capacity to really wreck shop.

The inherent danger they pose makes them scary by default. In terms of looks and personality, they aren't scary and could even be called goofy. In terms of danger, they are all terrifying
