I feel like I haven’t heard enough people talk about what an absolute game changer this is for crafters with mobility issues. Are you kidding?! This is a godsend for some of them! Do I wish it was more affordable, absolutely. But I do love the concept for that reason especially!
Angie, I love, love, love your videos and watch (and like!👍🏽) them all the time. I like your narrative, your craft space, content, everything! Thank you.
I've had two cheaper heat presses which both failed within a year. I've also had the Cricut easy press 9 x 9 for a few years and never had any problems with it. This is a considered purchase for sure. Do I like the look of it - Yes!. Do I really need it - No! Do I want it - Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes! Thank you for all your videos Angie.
Thank you Angie for the videos on the Cricut AutoPress. I agree with a lot of people, the price is high. Seeing the results on the different thickness of blanks is very exciting. I might just have to start saving my money.
I have to agree with everyone about the $$$$ but I was impressed with how well it worked. I am still struggling with my Rowenta so any Easy Press would be a step up. Love your videos, so very helpful! Thanks for sharing.
Amazing, I love your videos. I think it would be a good idea to do videos pressing shirts with supacolor and DTF films. I would like to see how it will work with that. Thank You for your videos.
Thank you Angie for ALL the videos you do to help us crafters out. I really like the Autopress however the price is a bit scary. I look forward to see more of the videos you do. I was curious too to see where you had the canvas linked so that I may try a couple of them to make they come out as awesome as yours. Again, Thank you for all you do!!
Thanks for testing - I’m really intrigued. Hopefully it continues to perform well. I have been wanting a heat press and this one has great features. Price is a bit scary so I’m interested in your opinion after you run it through all the tests!
Hi Angie ! I just love the the new Cricut Auto Press, but it's a little rich for my blood. Maybe I can I start putting back a little money at a time and save up for this, because I have decided I want to get into a T-shirt business and this would make things go so much faster. But as for now I'll use my Easy Press 2 and my off brand 7x5 heat press and do what I have to do. Thanks for sharing.
I did not know you could layer vinyl with the carrier sheets attached! I though you had to press the first and remove the carrier sheet and then press the second vinyl down and remove that vinyl's carrier sheet. Could you explain how yours worked please?
Thanks for taking the time to try out all these different materials. Very impressive. It’s tempting to buy one. However, I just bought a 12x10 easy press a few weeks before all these new products came out, so I will wait awhile to consider the auto press.
Thanks for another great video! I look forward to seeing more videos on this auto press. I can't seem to locate the link to the design space canvas, can you point me to it? thanks!
Hi Angie:) I had commented a few days ago about the Puff not working properly with the easy press. Maybe you can try it out with the auto press and see if it has enough pressure to do puff htv?
That is on my list actually! That is why I had some delivered. I am going to add that to the video where I am going to try more things that take heavy/medium pressure settings.
I ordered the auto press on HSN. I have one question can you use other brands of vinyl or does it have to be just Cricut vinyl. Great video thank you..oops I rewinded and you did answer the question about the vinyl thank you lol
I have been complaining about the price from the start in a number of locations. I just don't get to charge an accessory item over twice as high... pretty much 2.5 as high as the main item (the Maker). However, I think if they made this device much larger (15x15 or 16x20) I may as well consider the price point. Also I think the Autopress not tied to the new heat app was a huge miss. That is such a convenience.
Thank you for the video Angie! Is any of the experiments you did typically require firm pressure like Siser Easyweed Stretch? I wanted to get a heat press because of materials like that but not sure if the auto press can do it.
Hi Angie thank you so much for testing always as I appreciate it. My question is that I have a StarCraft 15x15 heatpress already and do mainly T-shirt’s with some onesies and smaller things, so you think it would be worth selling that for this? $999 however is killing me so I’d have to wait for a sale. I also worry about the platen size for doing shirts. Do you think it is realistic??
I feel like if you are happy with what you have for what you do, stick with it! I don't know if I would upgrade unless there is some feature you just REALLY want.

No matter how nice it is, it makes no business sense to buy one when you can get one for half that price that will ultimately accomplish the same thing.
I understand you may be upset about the price but there are still people out there interested in the press and I need to do all I can to test it and give them my opinion.
@@AngieHolden I wasn't upset. And I expect you to review it, that's what you do. I'm sure there will be people that buy them because they think it's a cool heat press (it is). I was just saying that, from a business profit making perspective, it makes very little sense to spend that much since there are alternatives that can accomplish the same thing for half the price.
I can’t wait to this comes out. I love the fact it opens when done. I really wish people would stop complaining about the price.

I have arthritis in my hands and I didn’t think I could open and close the other style of heat presses. This one is on sale for $599.00 at this time

Thanks Angie, we have just got the Auto press here in Australia, I picked mine up yesterday 😊
Thank you for testing all these items. My auto press should be here next week.

Happy to help!
Great demo Angie thanks
Thank you for your help Angie! So excited to get this press!!!
Hope you like it!
I really appreciate how thorough you are. Great explanations! Thanks for all the tests.
No problem!
Omg!!! I'm so excited!!! Thanks for sharing! I'm so glad to have just found your channel!
Yay! Thank you!

Glad you enjoy it!

@@AngieHolden okay thank you. I must have gotren confused. I thought you said you would link to a copy of the project images you used.
OH! I was confused! I have a link to a design space canvas and every single project is on there. Just click it and delete off any you don't want!
@@AngieHolden No worries. 🙂 I know you're busy making those awesome videos you do. I thank you for doing that. Have a great weekend!
great teaching video I enjoyed it

Does the lid of the press come straight down on the item or at an angle? It looks like it would shift what you are pressing…
Once it gets about 6 inches above the item, it come straight down. This is a totally new design for a clamshell. Most come at an angle.
Where’s the Cricut temperature guide? I can’t seem to find it.
Google Cricut Heat Guide.

How does the press know the pressure if we are only putting in the temp and time?
The pressure is set automatically on this press. It is not adjustable.
Awesome - thank you. I will have to save up for a Cricut AutoPress!!!❤️
Have fun!
I wonder if it would do sublimation ok.
I am working on a sublimation video!
Do you feel the autopress does better than the easy press2 for HTV on wood?
Not necessarily. I have had luck with both.
Can you design in any program or does it only work with design space? Does it have to be hooked up to my Cricut machine?
The AutoPress can be used with any program. You do have to activate it using Design Space.
I really like this press but can’t see the $999 price tag. Maybe when the price comes down I’ll be able to buy it. It’s such a great design.
I am POSITIVE they will put it on sale sometime!

I do appreciate your comment and concern. Complaining about the price in numerous locations doesn't really help anything though.

I am going to do an entire video on things that require heavy/medium pressure. I can add that one to a list!
@@AngieHolden thank you so much! Can’t wait!
I noticed you didn’t use a Teflon sheet with most of the presses? I thought you would always use one.
You definitely don't have to always use one. Here I am using HTV in most cases and just the carrier sheet is fine with most materials.
Sublimation on garden Flags
Good one!

@@AngieHolden Thank you for an honest answer.
Good morning
Morning!
What is HTV?
HTV is Heat Transfer Vinyl or you might here it called Iron-on.
Hola como estas
I know I would love it, but the cost stops me cold, no matter how great it is.
Excuse me………$999.00? I think this is very pricey, especially in this economy 😟 I really like the machine but feel it should be half the price.

Too expensive for no exceptional reason.
