It is a part of a heat press launch today and I will have videos on the other two releases as well so be sure to watch them all. This video covers the Cricut AutoPress and how to get started with it. What is different about the new Cricut heat press? What does this Cricut clamshell press do that an EasyPress will not? Well, watch this video to find out! This is a professional level heat press with an auto-open feature as well as an automatic pressure feature that I really think you are going to love. Be sure to ask any questions you have in the comment section so I can make more videos on this product.

My Siser heat press was way less and around the same size plates. I can adjust my time and pressure. Don't need to program it with the computer either. You did a video for that one and I was sold. Helped out my business a lot. That being said, $1000 is really unnecessary.
I do still have that one and I like it but this press is completely different from that one. I am not even sure it is a fair comparison.
Yea this is way over priced you can a heat press for £200
Way over priced, I have a full heat press system for shirts, hats, mugs and plates for under $200
It’s too expensive..your videos are always great! They will need to come down on the price…there are heat press machines way less and they are metal. This is plastic. But, it is a beautiful machine. Maybe, you can suggest them lowering the price 🤷🏽♀️
@@GoldenEssentials17 yes, I feel the same. I always watch Angie because she doesn't sugar coat like some other paid makers. She gets right to the point. I've bought many things just because I've watched her and the fact that she has an honest and comparison review. She doesn't use just Cricut brand stuff.
1000 dollars !!!!! My god. I'm so thankful I bought a different press and didn't wait for this.
Hi Angie,
I (DH) just purchased my Cricut AutoPress from HSN bundle price today and can’t wait to get it. I go it as a gift for my 38th wedding anniversary from my DH. He woke me up it an email surprise because I have been eyeballing a heat press machine for over six months. I took are very impressed with the two finger auto press and shutoff features. I can’t wait to see your upcoming videos. Yes it is pricey and I hope Cricut lives up to their bargain…. I will review it as well.
My cutting machine is a Brother SDX325 ScanNCut will go well this and my home business.
I hope you love it!
For the price, it should be bigger than 15x12
So Excited - and - Thanks for Sharing !!
Whew 1000.00. During Covid? But amazing review. Thank you!!!!! Gotta pray about this one. 🤯😱😭🙏🏽
I got my new Cricut Auto Press yesterday and made my first t-shirt on it today. So excited! I love it! Thanks for your tutorial. It helps tons!
Thank you Angie you are amazing you give the most thorough tutorials.
You are so welcome!
That was a wonderful introduction and looking forward to your future videos about Cricut Auto Press, thank you.
Great demo Angie.
Fabulous AutoPress and fantastic video! I just got my AutoPress and followed your step-by-step instructions and now I'm good to go. I agree the price is high, but you get what you pay for and besides the AutoPress is so sleek and elegant. :) Thanks so much for taking the time to explain each step. It was sooo easy to set up. I can't wait to get started making things. Thanks again, Angie! I'll be watching your upcoming videos.
I learn so much! Thank you.
I love your honesty. I'm so anxious to buy this
Just discovered what the price will be. WOW!! $1,000 US relates to about $1,280 CDN for me. That's so far out of my budget, I can't even consider it. Too bad, it would have been such a super addition to my craft room. It's beautiful.
@ Janice Morrow wow that’s a bit steep! 😳 I thought it would be between $500-$700 at most! Perhaps you can get the what 10% discount for having an Access subscription when purchasing through Cricut or buying through Klarna or Affirm? You may even have the opportunity to purchase it on HSN or QVC. This will definitely be one of my choices if I purchase it! I’m awaiting a comparison video between it and other heat presses! Hope you’ll get your Heat Press! 😃🙏🏾
The launch will be on HSN so I am hoping for a sale right out of the gate.
@@AngieHolden Do you know if it will launch on The shopping channel in Canada?
I am not positive on that. You may have to wait until the full launch that is mid May I think.
@@AngieHolden omg not for me now gee wiz just purchased a sawgrass 1000 o my :(
I falling in love with this new machine 😍 Thank you for your presentation.
Glad you like it!
Thanks so much Angie, as always, you did a phenomenal job showing & explaining about this new machine. It’s amazing, looking forward to learning more about it. Blessings & hugs!!!
You are so welcome!
Saving time > Saving money. It's a concept that only few people seem to understand. If this machine makes you work twice as fast without getting tired then its a good investment
Oh I will be getting this baby, now I can be totally getting merchandise out, thank you Angie
Thank you so much for this very informative video! Looking forward to learning more from you! 😊
You are amazing! I just ordered mine and feel confident and ready because of all the great videos you made about thye capabilities and features! Thank you Angie!
Glad I could help!
Omg I love it wow good job Angie as always you explain so well
Thank you for doing the overview of these new products, as much as I love Cricut products they have priced themselves out of the average consumer market. Other products do the same things for far less money, that's a shame, but given the cost of everyday items right now this will be an item I'll have to skip. Gotta feed the family!
Angie...you had me at Hello...lol. You are the only youtuber that I rely on for helping me make decisions like this. You answered questions I didn't now I had :) This is the most excited I have been with Cricut since Design Space started :) THANK YOU!!
Yay! Happy to help!
Not bad, although I can't decide if it looks more like a George Foreman grill or a toilet. Might be what I eventually graduate to when I get more experience.
Thanks for watching!
😂😂😂 George Foreman
😁
Lol, it does look like both of those things. 🤣
Both 🤣
You did amazing job explaining the product I love how thorough you are. On another note is cricut out of the loving mind I could understand a $500 or $700 but a grand. This is a NO for me. That's not even talking about the footprint it takes up. Crafter with small work space are not going to want this taking up valuable work space. In my personal opinion the Maker was and still is one of the best products they have had and the are trying really hard to gain the momentum back.
Love the auto open feature and style
Love the new autopress! Hubby is getting me one 💃🏼
I wish my business would be doing well enough to afford this. It is a BEAUTIFUL machine. I love the auto open and the presets. Maybe when the price drops some I might spring for it because it seems like an awesome press. For now I'll stick with my easy press until I'm able to afford one but one way or another, I'll have one eventually 😂 I just cant swing it seeing as I bought my maker, my sublimation printer, my easy press, mini press, and mug press for less than what this would set me back for the time being. Thanks for an amazing video and always giving us the full run down!
Thanks for watching! I can't wait for a good sale on this one!
Great video and beautiful machine. I look forward to your videos testing the products on the autopress. Thank you.
Thank you!
Angie, I got mine today and while I didn’t make anything I did press a pillow case. While the pillow case was pressing I tried tugging on the four corners gently to see if I had good pressure and it was tight so, I’m excited to try some things and see how well it does. Thanks for this video it was very helpful setting it up.
Hope you love it!
once again great demo thanks so much.
Glad you liked it!
Wow. This machine will be great for small business. Thank you for demo.
You bet!
Thank you for this informative review! This press is a game changer.
It really is!
ty for the vid... luv the way u cover everything and explain it all.... i luv the machine... i really do but will be waiting to see how it holds up over time .. very nice features that would make it perfect for me.... ty....
Thanks for watching!
After seeing the price in the comments I have no desire to even finish this video. That's outrageous.
I do address this a bit in the video. This is a professional level press. There are many presses on the market that are even more expensive than this.
@@AngieHolden the problem is that supposedly cricut has a target for home business or just hobby crafting, so the price doesn't match their target
I don't think you are right about the target any longer. I agree that was the target at one time but I think their target is expanding so they need to expand their product line to match.
Thank you for all this information! I just received my Auto press today!!! I love it! This video answered all my questions. I wondered today if I needed to leave it open to cool. I just looked through your videos and found the answers. Thank you 🙏 so much! If anyone is wondering, I craft in my bedroom and this fits fantastic. Its on a table at the end of my bed and when it’s closed it doesn’t obstruct the view. It’s also very pretty.
So glad you like it!
Thank you for the video and your thoroughness. Hopefully, Cricut will have a huge sale in the future.
I hope so too!
Love your room and your exceptional organization skills😍
Thank you so much!
Great video! I will stay with the Siser heat press for mfrp $350 with a 9×12 plates. Cricut is out of their mind!!!
I have the Siser as well and I will say it does not really compare to this press.
@@AngieHolden this one seems to tell the user what to do and I tweak the Sisser to do what I want. It seems more of a beginner kinda set up with a pro look. But I could be wrong. Don't get.me wrong I have the easy press 2 and love it. I just wish cricut had guven the optio. To just turn ot on and go with whatever the user wants to do. Rught or wrong lol. Trust me I have many many mistakes in my pressing past🤣
Can also see this helping people like me with health issues. Sometimes I don't have the strength to press down and this handles it. Exciting!
I totally agree!
Thank you for another awesome tutorial!
Glad you liked it!
Thank you for this information...
My pleasure!
This was an amazingly thorough video! Thank you so much! I have a 5 in 1 heat press and you're so right, it takes up more space than this new machine. And it's sooo pretty 😍
It really does look so much better in my space!
Yeah I'll keep my 5in1
As always great video explaining how this beauty operates. I also have hand issues so this would be great for me!
Glad it was helpful!
Just saw my email on these. 🥰🥰🥰 love how it opens up wide from other heat presses. I don’t have one yet, this might be the one for me 🤗
I took the leap and just got my new Autopress today and I love it already! I prefer the look to that of heat presses like the Siser etc, but that's down to personal preference. Have done my first project which was adding iron-on vinyl to a tote. Looking forward to using it for many more projects. Thanks for all the videos you do Angie, you are a star!
Good choice!
Thank You for the video! I think your videos are the best, as they are the most thorough and informative. This is definitely something I'll be looking into in the future, for now I'm happy with what I have. After all, tomorrow is my 3-week Cricutversary and I've already started with my Maker3, EasyPress2, Mug Press, and even got a Sawgrass printer. I'm actually hoping they come out with a tumbler press like the mug press. I WOULD looooove that!
Awesome! Good luck!
I'm sorry, I love Cricut stuff, and have a lot of it, but the price of this is beyond ridiculous. I have a small business (embroidery/sublimation) and recently purchased an industrial auto-open heat press that has a higher heat limit, 15 x 15 plate, pull- out drawer, touch screen time and temp and it was less than this. As always, Angie, I appreciate you and your videos, so thank you for taking the time to do this video.
Thanks for watching! I do understand.
What's the name of your machine? Thank you for posting, I'm new in the game and looking for the best and most affordable options available . ❤
@@thinkuthink Mine was still expensive, but not $1000. I have the Ricoma 15 x 15 auto open press. My embroidery machine is the Ricoma EM-1010. They do have financing, which is what I did. My first heat press was a clamshell from Amazon. I believe it was $175. It still works, but when I upgraded from kids only clothing to adult sizes, I had a harder time reaching up under the press to position the shirts as it did not have a drawer and I kept bumping my fingers on the hot plate. (I'm not exactly graceful) LOL I believe Angie has a heat press video to compare presses. Do your research. It took me over two months to decide on which new press to get. Good luck!
@@kimberlyarmstrong2929 thank you so much for answering my question! I’ve actually been looking into the ricoma 1010! Such an awesome investment for your business, congratulations! May it bring you much success ✨
@@thinkuthink Thank you!
Thank you for this!. You're the best Angie..I am so buying this when I get the funds lol
Thanks for watching!
This is so cool! I have only just started getting into what a cricket can do. Need to make some money to work from home.
Oh boi can’t wait to get
Great video Angie.. Beautiful machine
Thanks so much!
Dear Angie thank you for you help on sublimating on Dark fabric cotton.😊
Happy to help!
Omg !!!!!! I'm in love I so need want one.. price tag yack but hey the love out weighs ahah
Thank YOU
Welcome!
I love it. This is on the wish list. It partially does everything for you and since I have a small space. It will work perfectly. I hope this does well so they can offer more sizes.
I totally agree!
Hi Angie love all your videos thank you so much, i am thinking of getting this machine i love that you explained everthing very easy , just would like to know about the tempertures for the different kind of materials. iam new with the pressing machines.
AutoPress will be added to the Cricut Heat Guide. Then I also have a guide for finding times and temperatures here: ruclips.net/video/fkvDvRqgAko/видео.html
Great video thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Impressive! Thoroughly depicted the uses for this product, especially for those who are producing a lot of items. It is a lovely machine.
It looks amazing and seems to work amazingly. I really appreciate your honest reviews Angie. I've been looking for a larger heat press, 16x20. Now if this came in that size, I'd buy it right now. But my honest opinion is that for the sky high price, it should have been at least 15x15. 12" isn't going to work for me. Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE Cricut products but it seems their prices are getting a bit outrageous lately. Yes, this is a professional heat press. Yes, it's amazing but, unless I was a large business owner, this just isn't for the small business owner or the crafter. For that reason, I'm out. Thank you for all the info and I look forward to future videos on this in hopes it will change my mind.
🥰💖🥰💖🥰💖🥰💖🥰
I am always open to other opinions. I would say that the price tag is the retail price and Cricut is always having a sale.
@@AngieHolden Thank you Angie. 🥰🥰🥰
But at a thousand dollars that's way over priced at that price ur paying for it being cricut period I cant wait to switch from my cricut they've became so over priced its ridiculous they are more better professional machines that auto open that are bigger an better for less than a thousand dollars absolutely insane pricing
Oh and the majority of the machine is plastic lol n people gonna call that a "professional" machine n I promise at only 12x15 no professional is gonna settle for that small n if they do they have the money to jus throw at cricut jus to have the cricut name or they were given the machine for free and paid for their review and to market their products to get us gullible people to eat this up jus like the 250 dollar light lol people need to wake up
I am with the rest on pricing. 999.00 is way too much. You can find on Amazon, Walmart and even Home Depot with theirs starting from 175.00 to 269.00. Same size or bigger.
Wow. Great video as always.
Glad you enjoyed it!
BTW , I Love your videos Angie
Thank you!
Great video!! I’ve been holding out on buying a clam press hoping Cricut would release one. 😊 Can’t wait to see your sublimation video, as that’s what I could use it for mostly. Coasters, magnets, keychains and such.
Coming soon!
Looks like there’s three VIP videos that I need to watch now. I know what I’ll be doing for the next hour and a half! Better get some snacks 😉😁. Thanks Angie 👏
Yep! Any time!
I completely understand what you mean. 🙂
this iS Sooo Cool
I have Fibromyalgia and a lot of pain in my hands/wrists. This Auto Press is a dream come true for a crafter like me. I am a small business owner but don't sell shirts but that may change after this arrives. I use the Affirm payment option on large purchases, it's easy and convienant.
I also have issues with my hands and this really is SO MUCH better.
@@AngieHolden I'm so excited for this new product.
HSN has flex pay option without any interest. There is no membership either. You can use a debit or credit card.
very nice but way too expensive for me to buy , great video on it you do a very good job on explaning ty
Thanks for watching!
It's a nice one, good video!
I'm glad you like it!
Very sleek looking.
I think so too!
Came right here, was hoping you would have a video. Thank you. :) super helpful on how to store, noise level. Do you think noise level while on, is too much?
It is not. My microphone amplifies it as it does my voice for you!
Thank you for sharing. I was able to purchase mine on 5/3/22 from HSN. I was having trouble finding the site to activate the press. Thanks to your video I followed your instructions and my Autopress is up and running. I agree the press price is steep but flex pay and the bundle helped me to make the decision to purchase.
Yay! So happy it helped!
Wow! Game changer!
It really is so nice!
Thank you Angie! Very you explain all well! But OMG the price
Glad it was helpful!
I need this
Thanks so much for you amazing videos and explanations. I love your shelves in the back were you have all your machine. Can I know Where do you buy it?? Thanks so much
Try this: ruclips.net/video/kWaUI0bfHpg/видео.html
Expanding my small business and have been hunting for an easy heat press that opens on its own due to my bad shoulders and arthritis, I'm just 49 but it's still an issue while working with the press I have currently. You made it all look quite easy and safe here with this press. Currently getting everything together to start my own RUclips channel for my shirts, mugs, etc, planner, and printing projects. I've heard a lot from friends and on RUclips about it being very pricey $1,000 I think and it being no easier than others but personally, I like this because it seems it will save me a lot of pain and time plus it's safer to me. Love how you can purchase an extra pad to help speed up my orders. Wow! I always watch your channel for new tips and presses etc for Cricut etc. Thanks!! This was a very helpful video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I purchased the auto press for the same reason. People underestimate the damage and wear and tear that routine actions put on the body.
THANKS!!!
You are welcome!
I saw this on the Cricut website. But $1000 for a hobby crafter is nuts! I personally will not be spending that much for this heat press. It is really cool and what it does, but this is really for someone that is doing this full time!
Correct. This is not really intended for a hobby crafter but more for a small business.
@@AngieHolden so what does the warranty say? Aren't the cutting machines not supposed to be for business or heavy use?
Sorry I am not sure. I was just saying that they are marketing this to be a professional press and the EasyPress line to be for hobby crafters.
Wow I love it! I bet it will take months to come to Australia though. My current heat press is great but I actually have trouble reaching the handle to close it, so this looks great, and should be a great size for most cushions, tote bags, etc. I’ve heard the only problem with auto open with sublimation is that it can cause ghosting, so it will be interesting when you do the sublimation tests. Thanks for the video 😊
More to come!
UGH, love the auto pressure, ability to do wood and the auto open. I wish I would have known this was coming out. I purchased a swing away heat press so that I could do wood. I am having some trouble with ghosting on some poly blanks and I think the Cricut Auto Press would solve that. The price seems high but on the other hand it seems like they have thought of most everything. Thank you for the video.
I need to do some more tests with sublimation to make sure there is not a ghosting issue and I can't wait to test ALL THE WOOD!
Thank you Angie for a great video! Found your channel a couple of weeks ago and I am hooked. Your review has assisted me in making my decision; I was going to purchase the EasyPress 3, but will buy the AutoPress instead. Your comparison video and reviews, also assisted me in deciding to purchase my Maker 3, bought it at a great sale price. The AutoPress is pricey, but am confident that while doing price comparison on multiple sites I will find it on sale for less than $1,000. Can't wait to see your project videos using the AutoPress. Thank you for your honest reviews. Added - My friends and I say Cricut is like Apple. Once you are an Apple consumer that is it your hooked, Cricut the same (lol).
Totally the same! Thanks for watching!
I love your videos and you do amazing explaining everything!!! If I was new to this, I would have ran out and bought this just from your video but....
Knowing what I do, $1000 for that is nuts?!?! I have a love/hate relationship with my Maker 3 but that is about as far as I go with cricut. DS is a pain 95% of the time, so how they priced this thing like this is insane to me. The size makes it irrelevant, almost all shirts are presses at 13x19....
Cricut makes no sense to me lol.
As said in the video, this press is NOT for everyone. Stick with what works for you already.
Thank you for this video it was the best I have seen so far. Can you tell me where you got the pillow case from.
Cricut actually makes them!
Great video. The press looks awesome. Can you explain the purpose of connecting the dial pad to your computer? Is that something that needs to be done often as an update? Thanks.
It only needs to be done once. It registers the machine for your warranty and gives you any updates that have happened since purchase.
great teacjing video
Wow, sticker price shock, but they seemed to have covered everything! Nice!!
I absolutely love the sleek design and all the features as they are what I have been watching for but I do have to agree with all the comments I have been reading on several of the review sites I have watched. The price is definitely a bit too steep and while it is "designed" to be for professional level use I can't say I have seen any really big sale on Cricut machines. They are usually very minor. I was fortunate to have bought my Joy unit on ebay brand new for 1/2 the price and I have been thrilled with it. I doubt the autopress will have such a discounted price, though I'd snap it up if I do see it with a steep discount. ;-) Love your tutorials and the way you present yourself. I have learned a lot from you. I am new to Cricut and cramming informational tutorials to learn as quick as I can (about 2 mths) but I am loving it and hoping I can create a business with it as well. I did hear that Cricut plans to introduce some other lower range priced units later BUT if they are smaller than 12x15 size it won't be a satisfactory addition when we would like the 12x15 or larger size. Thanks again Angie for your awesome tutorials!!
Oh commom guys you can recover the price immediately easily if you really do good products.
@@justinoarciaga6425 if you are brand new and still getting on your feet it would take longer. Let us know how fast you recouped your purchase $ back 😊
Thank you so much for this video!! I would be curious about how the heat press works on a Bella canvas t-shirt, if it would leave press lines?
I will have to experiment and see how it is with press lines!
I KNEW they were coming out with a new heat press right after I buy the Easy Press 2. Lol 😂
Always!
Saw your email and had to come check out this video
Hope you enjoyed it!
I can't wait for a good sale on this press and jump on it! You did great explaining. Question, do you think it could cover eco solvent prints on large shirts, or screen prints, etc? Can I use one of the presets for a certain name htv that I prefer rather than the Cricut HTV? Thank you :)
I have a video coming up on screen prints anyway so I can try those on here. And yes you can use the presets for anything!
It look okay not sure if I wanna get one,I'm looking for a heat press I already have the easy press 2 gotta think about this one 🤔
I am super curious of your honest comparisons
Coming soon!
Hi Angie thank you so much. I just found out that this will on hsn may 3rd as the today's special. Anna griffin will be presenting this. Hopefully it will be the right price😊
Oh yay!!!
Wow!! 1000.00 US that is crazy. This product looks beautiful and well made. It seems like it would probably perform better than the other heat machines I’ve seen on the market. However, the sticker price is a hard one to swallow and will push a lot of people away from this part of the crafting because of budgetary constraints. Not to sure if this is a great idea Cricut…. I guess only time will tell
It doesn't have to push you away from crafting at all! Just use an EasyPress or another heat press that is within your budget. This is made with small businesses in mind so there is no reason to be disappointed that you can't afford to add it to your craft room.
@@AngieHolden I am a small business and can't afford it. 🙃
Really that much? where did you see the price.?
@@av12160 It’s $999usd 🥴 The price is on the cricut website
Plus it's only a 1 year warranty. Smh
This looks fabulous!! Thanks for these unboxing and tutorials. I think I’ll be getting one of these. Will Cricut’s other heat presses still work for me?
Any heat press you have will definitely still work! No need to upgrade to anything that is released today if you don't like it!
how did you grab one already! good for you! love your channel!
They sent me one to make content.
OMG....I have to have this! :-)
Great tutorial! I was hoping to see the actual temp of the plate in different zones.
Hmmm..well you can't measure the plate temperature itself. I can do some tests though.
Hello. Thank you so much for all your in-depth video reviews. You make crafting less stressful and I could watch them all day. Would you say that this is the same color as the maker 3? I’m very intrigued/interested in that all new items match the maker 3 😊
They are calling this Mist. They call the Maker color "powder blue". So they are different.
@@AngieHolden how about with the Cricut explorer 2 ? I know it just says “blue” Not sure if you have the time or desire but could you put all side by side? It would be so pleasing to see the shades, and would help me decide if it’s work upgrading allllll the machines
