    My Siser heat press was way less and around the same size plates. I can adjust my time and pressure. Don't need to program it with the computer either. You did a video for that one and I was sold. Helped out my business a lot. That being said, $1000 is really unnecessary.

    Hi Angie,
    I (DH) just purchased my Cricut AutoPress from HSN bundle price today and can’t wait to get it. I go it as a gift for my 38th wedding anniversary from my DH. He woke me up it an email surprise because I have been eyeballing a heat press machine for over six months. I took are very impressed with the two finger auto press and shutoff features. I can’t wait to see your upcoming videos. Yes it is pricey and I hope Cricut lives up to their bargain…. I will review it as well.

    Just discovered what the price will be. WOW!! $1,000 US relates to about $1,280 CDN for me. That's so far out of my budget, I can't even consider it. Too bad, it would have been such a super addition to my craft room. It's beautiful.

      @ Janice Morrow wow that’s a bit steep! 😳 I thought it would be between $500-$700 at most! Perhaps you can get the what 10% discount for having an Access subscription when purchasing through Cricut or buying through Klarna or Affirm? You may even have the opportunity to purchase it on HSN or QVC. This will definitely be one of my choices if I purchase it! I’m awaiting a comparison video between it and other heat presses! Hope you’ll get your Heat Press! 😃🙏🏾

    I'm sorry, I love Cricut stuff, and have a lot of it, but the price of this is beyond ridiculous. I have a small business (embroidery/sublimation) and recently purchased an industrial auto-open heat press that has a higher heat limit, 15 x 15 plate, pull- out drawer, touch screen time and temp and it was less than this. As always, Angie, I appreciate you and your videos, so thank you for taking the time to do this video.

      @@thinkuthink Mine was still expensive, but not $1000. I have the Ricoma 15 x 15 auto open press. My embroidery machine is the Ricoma EM-1010. They do have financing, which is what I did. My first heat press was a clamshell from Amazon. I believe it was $175. It still works, but when I upgraded from kids only clothing to adult sizes, I had a harder time reaching up under the press to position the shirts as it did not have a drawer and I kept bumping my fingers on the hot plate. (I'm not exactly graceful) LOL I believe Angie has a heat press video to compare presses. Do your research. It took me over two months to decide on which new press to get. Good luck!

    It looks amazing and seems to work amazingly. I really appreciate your honest reviews Angie. I've been looking for a larger heat press, 16x20. Now if this came in that size, I'd buy it right now. But my honest opinion is that for the sky high price, it should have been at least 15x15. 12" isn't going to work for me. Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE Cricut products but it seems their prices are getting a bit outrageous lately. Yes, this is a professional heat press. Yes, it's amazing but, unless I was a large business owner, this just isn't for the small business owner or the crafter. For that reason, I'm out. Thank you for all the info and I look forward to future videos on this in hopes it will change my mind.

The price is definitely a bit too steep and while it is "designed" to be for professional level use I can't say I have seen any really big sale on Cricut machines. They are usually very minor. I was fortunate to have bought my Joy unit on ebay brand new for 1/2 the price and I have been thrilled with it. I doubt the autopress will have such a discounted price, though I'd snap it up if I do see it with a steep discount. ;-) Love your tutorials and the way you present yourself. I have learned a lot from you. I am new to Cricut and cramming informational tutorials to learn as quick as I can (about 2 mths) but I am loving it and hoping I can create a business with it as well. I did hear that Cricut plans to introduce some other lower range priced units later BUT if they are smaller than 12x15 size it won't be a satisfactory addition when we would like the 12x15 or larger size. Amazing tutorial once again!! 🙌 Love most of my cricut items but $1000 for the heat press is a bit crazy. I think they need to rethink that for maybe losing business to other presses. In my honest opinion I’d rather see how these sell at that price for long. I wish my small business could afford it for sure. Love my Amazon heat press, but I do love the auto press, release and open area for placement! That surly was smart. Are they going to do something about the pressure for different items??
    I’m excited about the hat press, seems a bit more affordable.! Can’t wait!! I’m gonna need a loan 😳🤣

      I 100 percent agree - you can get a quality press for less than half of this - It's almost insulting that cricut thinks your average crafter can afford this - - even $150 for a tiny hat press is insane - It seems everything new they keep making is for the rich only

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 года назад +3

      I am not sure where anyone said that Cricut thinks the average crafter can afford this? I don't think that statement is true at all. It is definitely being marketed as a professional press.

      @@jakkudemoff3043 The auto press is definitely not meant for the average crafter, that is what the easy press is for. The auto press is marketed as a professional machine. The hat press reminds me of the mug press, cute but over priced. As a result just as it is easy to now find the mug press on sale I believe the same will be true for the hat press in time.

    So it is a pneumatic press. That motor sound when pressing down is what I have on my heat press. It gives a pretty even press that way. It is hard to get a pneumatic press. Only Freesub seems to have. All they are missing is a slide out drawer and to be a 16x20. But this looks sweet!

      I would wait for it to go on sale because Cricut ALWAYS puts it on sale. However, it is launching on HSN first which may mean it is a deal right out of the gate. So I would keep an eye on it.
