Thanks Tyson, I am relieved that the chrome is not causing accidents and sending streams of sun reflecting into oncoming traffic. Thank you for answering questions we all had. Truck looks great! Can’t wait to get mine.

It's not chrome, it's polished stainless. Those are two different things.
@@sxmolin yep, it looks like mad max fury road behind me with all the devastation I leave in my wake. People are wrecking everywhere if they didn’t catch on fire from the suns rays as I went by. It’s everything I can do to dodge all the people in front of me swerving all over the road because they can’t see from the suns rays bouncing off this thing. I think I’m just going to paint it safety yellow and put big flashing lights on it so I don’t go to prison from driving it.

@@jadenbright3854 Lol because it looks better than having fingerprints and other weird artifacting on the metal the way it comes from the factory right now, for $100k the surface should have some work to it not just raw metal they could at least use ceramic or nano coating from the factory, heck even a clear coat would be better than nothing at all.

Me and my parents met the guy who owned this exact truck and we went for a ride, it is like a mirror. No the sun doesn’t reflect against it.

It just shows how uneducated they are. I really appreciate you explaining the process and telling how you did it. I’ve always wondered if the metal could be sanded and polished up and it looks fabulous.
Wow, thanks for doing this and for sharing this on RUclips. I do a lot of polishing myself as a luxury remodeling contractor, wood, stone, metal... My first thought was, I could polish my cybertruck, but I had concerns like the ones you mentioned. I wasn't even thinking of polishing it all the way to mirror, but that is cool. Ok, this is going to rattle around my brain until I get my truck. Truthfully, my truck will be covered with mud, dirt and scratches constantly, because it's going to be my work truck, so I probably wont do it, but so cool to see it polished, thank you.

I think the polishing Guys Deserve a Raise! Look at those bucket old truck and motorcycle and the $100K cyber Truck sitting in front of that Multimillion dollar Home.
In Silicon Valley, there are a couple of Cybertrucks that look like that, but they are chrome wraps.
After the reveal years ago I just knew someone would polish it. I’m happy to be able to see what it looks like. Any thoughts on engraving? Maybe it’s too thin since they went away from the originally claimed 3mm.
I am guessing laser etching would be hard since it’s now so reflective but traditional engraving should work fine
Lazer etched designs to your Tastes..... similar to the FS/ CYBERBEAST logos.

The night footage goes HARD! You should wrap the lower bumper in something that looks like polished steel or maybe even replace it with a steel one. It would be interesting to see if that looked better!
I’m not a huge fan of the truck, but this does look really nice. Those guys did a bang up job with the polish work. That pull away shot they did was great.

I was going with Matte-black but now I AM NOT SO SURE, I will definitely give this more thought. 🧠 Love this polished look. 100%-would get it polished if I was younger.
I thought about matte black as well but i don’t like how it looks dirty. For me it’s polish or satin white with high gloss black painted accents

I love how the night driving scene doesn't use the actual headlights to light up the road. It's just the day time running light that's doing the lighting up 😂

Looks great. Probably doesn't heat up as much inside in the sun. Fingerprints and oils are probably extremely visible now.

Hope I'm not over reaching, but could you share a ballpark cost to polish that stainless HFS vs. high-end wraps? Polishing is obviously labor intensive, and I'm wondering how the labor hours stack up.
It’s about the same as a high end wrap from a company like TSportline. Hit up The Polishing Guys and they can give you a price.

BTW, I would prefer to block the middle section of the front light strip. It's a little too "alien" as it is now, isn't it? Some people may be alienated partly just because of this, perhaps.

M.A.A.S international polish will also work when on the final polishing stage of polishing . I bought it on Amazon . I used it on different alloys of stainless and was able to put a next to mirror shine on the surface without swirls .

I will receive my Cybertruck September to November this year. What would I need to to get mine polished, would your shop do the job, and if so how much do you need to charge for the job.

I think the polished look would probably look nicer to look at during night driving vs daytime. The various spectrum of light colors reflecting off the chrome finish would be very nice.
