You already look incredible so I can't imagine anything making you look better. You look perfect. But since many of us are skincare and device junkies we love these things and are always working on improving some aspect of ourselves. This looks like an excellent red light therapy mask. Great video, will go and look at next one now but can you just use a serum underneath? I’ve been thinking to use a Vit C serum under mask to help with hyperpigmentation then put on hyaluronic acid serum after….?

Does it just have the red light, or is there also a blue light to help w acne?
I use the Aduro 7+1 that has a similar design but has seven colours + infrared. I like that I can also get the benefits from infrared together with the LED and that I can use for example the blue light for when I have an acne issue or another colour for another nee, it also have programs that combine different colours. You do use it for 20 minutes though but I do it as a snooze in the morning. :) Aduro is about the same price and have the best customer service I have ever experienced.

Louise, I have the aduro mask as well and love it! And I agree, on top of the mask being awesome, their customer service is as well.
I just started using a hand held LED. I am also doing a thirty day trial. I am excited to see if it works naturally. I chose to do hand held instead of a mask so I am excited to compare my results to yours.

The Currentbody mask is the only one that allows LED light through it ( it has holes positioned fir the light to penetrate ) - other masks may block the light reaching the skin

How close should the mask sit? In my case it really pains my nose and I always have gabs between my skin and the mask:(
Do not use anything under the mask that will not allow the light to penetrate, so no don't use a sheet mask. The closer the lights are, the better. But I would first make sure it's comfortable.

I just got this. The strap sucks, Had to throw it out but I am excited to see the results from this mask

I was so pissed bc it’s too big for my face using the ear straps and then it has that stupid Velcro strap. The goggles suck too
I am really interested in trying this mask. Since you are able to use with their CLEAR sheet mask, would it be okay to use the mask AFTER putting my clear serums on? I only use hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C and Niacinamide, so nothing like retinal or glycolic acid. So, after applying my vitamin B and/or C serum, use mask, after mask, put on moisturizer and/or SPF? Thanks for the demonstration !
I only use the LED mask on clean dry skin, then afterwards I put on my skincare.

Those sheet masks won’t allow the light to work. You need the clear ones like what currentbody sell as otherwise the mask is doing nothing at all as it blocks the light.
That’s not what they told me! I emailed them to follow up. I’ll post an update as soon as they write me back
Beauty Beyond 40 / Trina Albus hope they reply soon for you. I did read it somewhere on their page. It may have been is questions and answers but I looked it up online too. Green tea is supposed to increase benefits of led therapy 10 fold and using a simple cooled brewed green tea as a toner beforehand does the job. I’ve seen great benefits after 3 weeks with that method xxxx

Beauty Beyond 40 / Trina Albus as long as it’s a hydrogel clear mask you are good. Tkmaxx do a lot of these as Korean ones tend to favour hydrogel styles. Much cheaper than the currentbody ones too ❤️

Please help! When charging, are you supposed to connect the mask to the on/off device and charge them all together? Or just the on/off device by itself?

The Currentbody mask is not an ordinary sheet mask - it is transparent so it lets the light trough. I have the LED mask, I used it every day for two month and my skin became superdry with a red irritated spot on each cheek where the mask touched.
I contacted Currentbody and they said that You should not use retinol/Tretinoin at all when using the mask - and they did NOT mean WHILE using the mask but AT ALL.
They told me to stop using retinol/Tretinoin two weeks before starting to use the mask. I must admit that it surprised me very much as the target group probably all will be using retinol or Tretinoin.
By the way - Angie from Hotandflashy has also done a LEDmask test (another mask) and got very subtle positive changes in the fine lines around her eyes.
Lene Skov I also use tretinoin and the mask . I use it first then 30 mins later apply my tret. I’ve found the mask has helped reduce any irritation from using the tret for me personally but everybody is different. Red light is supposed to heal and renew skin so I assumed that by using it beforehand I’d be ok? Xx
My Current Body contact was misinformed about the sheet masks! You can only use the clear ones. I’m not stopping my OTC retinol. We will see how my 30 days goes.
Hi Lene, I’m reading your comments while charging my new currentbody mask! I’m new to tretinoin prescription of 0.025% by my derm, should I keep it going or I should return this mask😭
@@yiyikang513My comment is more than a year old - and since then I have used the mask almost every day. No problem with the Tretinoin for me. And the dryness on the cheeks disappeared. Today I think it probably had nothing to do with the mask. I love red light therapy. I think you should just keep using the mask. It has done wonders for my skin.
New subscriber here - did anyone find more Sunspots and more pigmentation marks after using the Current body mask? My freckles seemed more accentuated too after using their mask… anyone had the same?

no. Blue LED is for acne.
I bought this mask and the 2 year warranty. After 4 months the device stopped working. I tried to file a claim. My claim was denied!!! With no explanation! The masked just stopped working. Liked the mask but quality and customer service is not there.
This does not sound right. Current Body would not deny a claim within the warranty period. Did you buy it directly from Current Body? Did you report it directly after the 4 month mark? Did you start using it right when you got it or did you wait and now you're outside the warranty period? What is the message you received? What email was it sent from? What is your customer name (since your user name "user-wy4ek5mk4p" isn't anything close to a real name). I will ask them about this if you can provide more details since this does not sound right at all. Thanks.

I heard red light can damage your eyesight over time. Most sites say to wear goggles.
yes, i have seen that too, but I'm not sure that is the case with these silicone type masks. I will ask Current Body.

the masks they recommend using with the LED are clear ”jelly” masks not sheet masks.
I specifically reached out about this before filming this video and they told me any sheet mask was fine. Who told you this? I will ask my contact at Current Body.
Beauty Beyond 40 / Trina Albus I was also in contact with Current Body - they said that the LED would not penetrate a sheet mask as well. I also think Penn Smith mentioned this in her video.

@@sminkakademien I have the Boost Light Saloon Led mask which is similar to this and they also said a clear hydro gel type of mask must be used for the light to penetrate. Thanks for the tip about the tea serum too. I have been looking for an organic tea serum.
I'm excited to see the results! I see some people wear glasses to protect their eyes when using devices such as these. Are these masks damaging to your eyes?😶
Brenda Marie apparently very safe on the eyes as long as you aren’t directly looking into the light. The best tip is to use in a well lit area then the light isn’t as bright and you can continue to read or watch tv. X
I use eye protection... look what happened with the Neutrogena LED mask lawsuit, people said it damaged their eyes

It's not my website, but they are a company that reached out to send me the mask. Why do you ask? I linked to them in my description and it they were not legit, I would not link to them.....
Warning!! If you have under eye fillers, the Currentbody Led Light Mask goggles may cause huge depressions, as it did to my eyes.
It's been 5 days since I used the mask and the goggles, but my under eyelids are still dented! No supportive customer service ...
Still waiting to hear from them regarding a refund and remedies.
