    Awww yes I remember those days . Just trying to get a stable hoover , and now I flip it instantly after I take off and start doing ticktocks or inverted piros . Keep up the time on you sim and you will find yourself doing things out of habit in real life with your real bird . Push hard on the sim every time, and you will advance faster. At some point you will be able to feel everything the bird is doing , and the flying will becomes second nature. You won't have to worry about orientation at all .

      @merlavery5057 thank you for your advice, it's much appreciated. This video is a bit old now I've progressed quite far since I did this video. I'm now flying around my rs4 and I've joined a club so I've always got loads of support and advice on tap. Again thanks for your comment 👍🏻

    Hi! Congratulations to the succesful maiden! The step from the M1 and M2 to a 400 class is a good one. I went this way to my M4. Astonishing for me is that you need bigger stickmoves for the Trex. It seems to be a matter of the (almost) RTF transmitter. For sure it will help you big time when you will get the Radiomaster TX 16 and are able to fly all your models with the same transmitter. And to adjust flybarless and transmitter settings to your personal needs. I set my M4 up in the "acrobatic" mode in my flybarless and in this setting it needs even smaller stickinputs than my M1's and M2's. And all my small helis are setup with fastest flightcontroller settings in speed and agility. I love very agile reactions now, but for sure in the beginnings I would have crashed everything with these settings. So try in your own way and your own speed! You did great in this maiden! Hats off!!

    Another awesome flight. I have a 230S and want a bigger 2nd Heli. Was thinking of this one or the TB40… Maybe RS4….

    • @Rcheliguy
      @Rcheliguy  4 месяца назад

      @Drumbone71 cheers bud. I'd recommend the rs4 venom. Spare parts are cheaper and it flys just a tad more responsive in my opinion. A chap at my field has a tb40 also but when he saw my rs4 he got a venom and he much prefers the rs4 over the tb40. Hope this helps mate 👍🏻

      Much appreciated thank you. I've also just finished my first build. The rs4 legend but unfortunately when I Maiden flew it I had a massive vibration issue. 🤞 the problem will be found and resolved soon and a video will follow. I wish you all the best in your journey in the hobby. Stick with it bud 👍🏻🚁

    Just wait till you fly your first 700 nitro or even 600 nitro. The noise adds to the nerves lol. Been flying for 15 years or so and I still get jello legs with my big helicopters. Also simulator will be your best friend and save you a bunch of money. I was hard headed and crashed multiple raptor 30s when I was learning

    • @Rcheliguy
      @Rcheliguy  Год назад

      Thanks for your comment. A nitro for me will be a long time away as I'm still learning lol. Sim wise I use next and go on it everyday arfter work for 30/45 minutes so I'm progressing slowly. I'm hooked on the hobby I love it 👍🏻

    I used to fly a nitro 30 size heli in the '80s. Got to flying inverted, but then "Life" got in the way. Now retired, I've recently got back into RC. I've got four planes (hardly flown) and an OMP M1. Got AccuRC sim and the last coupla months decided to try flying helis again. First few flights with the M1 made me realise disorientation at a distance is a problem and the trimming was out, so ordered a Fly Wing 450L v3. I shall fly it mainly in 3D mode but the GPS return to home and hover holding capabilities will be useful if my brain fades. While waiting for the slow boat from China, I couldn't resist buying a M2 EVO and hovered it for the first time yesterday - easier than my M1 but more trimming/tuning is needed on that one. I've got a Mk1 Radiomaster TX16S and still on Open TX. I've got an old Align 450 flybar that I crashed on it's maiden (one of my videos on RUclips) and is waiting to be repaired. Anyway, congrats on your flying. You're doing better than me at the moment.

      Thanks for your comment. Glad your back into the hobby for me it's a total relaxation when I'm out with my helis I absolutely love them. Hopefully your new heli doesn't take too long to arrive. My goal within the next couple of years would be to have some sab goblin helicopters 500 and 700 size eventually. I use the next sim which for me has been a massive help. Only 1month ago I started to fly them in 3d and with the help and use of the simulator like you can see in my videos I can now fly them around confidently the next step will be mild 3d but more practice on the sim on that front first. I'll start out the flips and inverted flying on the m1 first as its the least expensive to repair lol. Happy and safe flying in the future and good luck with your new heli 👍🏻😊

    Ps crashes will definitely happen. Don’t let them discourage you, funnest part for me is building or repairing after a crash. My government made it to hard to fly so sadly I’m enjoying the tinkering part more lately

    Which to buy, this heli or Blade 330S?

    • @Rcheliguy
      @Rcheliguy  8 месяцев назад

      Honestly I couldn't say as I've never owned a blade helicopter. I would recommend doing your own research first then make up your mind which heli best suits you and your requirements. This would be my honest opinion and advice.

    • @Rcheliguy
      @Rcheliguy  3 месяца назад

      @Drumbone71 great news, I belive its a little pull back togg on the tip off the heli. Mine was a red button, just pull up and pull out the battery. Happy flying buddy

    • @Drumbone71
      @Drumbone71 3 месяца назад +1

      @@Rcheliguy I finally figured it out. I almost ordered a battery tray before looking at it closer. I’m kinda intimidated by it a bit but normal looks pretty docile. Thanx Bud.
