I'd be interested in how customisable CoPilot is? Can we have style guides/templates for the types of formatting/images we use? Picking on Powerpoint here as an example but the same sorts of questions would apply to all the MS apps we might consider CoPilot for. We would hate to use stock images in PowerPoint for example, and our presentations follow strict style guidelines. We have our own library of images we can choose from. Can we use CoPilot to guess which of those images makes the most sense? Also, most of our PowerPoint presentations are data/chart heavy. How can PowerPoint help us create charts from say a bunch of Excel tables that follow the same formatting, etc? It's easy to bash together the bones of a PowerPoint presentation, it's presenting the the detail in a cohesive manner that takes the effort. How does CoPilot help with the detail and how easy is it to train it so it doesn't look like an LLM did it??
Potentially, for use the best use of AI would be to convert say an Excel workbook to PowerPoint or take the detail out of a PowerPoint presentation to summarise in an email.
It would also be interesting to see if CoPilot makes its way to SharePoint. Creating a nice SharePoint front end without needing coding experience would be great. And file management is always a pain. If we could have better AI tools to do fuzzy searches, find duplicates, help identify dead files, etc., that really would be worth the money. What sort of scope do we have to train CoPilot on company data and if so what sorts of safeguards do we have that none of that leaks outside the company?

the whole point of this is that it can have access to your corporate data, all your emails, files in Teams, OneDrive, Sharepoint etc, and pull that information and give you responses specific to your organisation. These demos and quick tests are fine but i really dont think show the actual best use cases. I really want to see how it will work in proper environments with real data, asking it to summarise real documents, or collate data from multiple sources etc. I know its difficult to show that on a video and keep privacy of your actual data etc, but that is the biggest feature for enterprises i think and what the money is on. $30/mo for an executive who is paid many times that per hour is peanuts if it saves them time.
i just worry that all these examples and demos ive seen are in such clean environments or with sample files that are designed to give the right output.
i know you are just showing an example, but i would love to see things like "reply to this tender request based on this repository of information about our companies services" or something like that, and see how it actually does. If that can get even half way to a good output it is a time saver

Hmm. You forgot to mention that an EA, enterprise agreement had to be in place to get copilot before. Minimum up front buy in of 300 licenses yes. But to be eligible you had to be 2500 licensed users either E3/5 licenses and an EA that you can only have with 2500 users or more. Out company got the first licenses issued in Europe after those bars were lowered supposedly 😁
