    I've been using Open AI Chat-GPT plus (GPT4) for a few months now. Am using it at work to summarise legislation and help with writing tricky procedures and it has been a awesome at this. Also use it in my spare time to help with music theory such as naming chords and assisting with chord resolution. The output is always of a very high quality and largely accurate from my experiences.

      Thanks for watching. Yes, ChatGPT does a good job. Have you compared any other services? For example, Claude has a bigger context window and as of last summer seemed better at text analysis.

      Nice I use for law advice, financial advice, food recipes. For recipes, if you chat gpt you only have this seasoning and this ingredient. It makes own adjustments, and provide instructions based on what you have. Also it provides instructions on how to make certain food depending on which appliance you want 2 use. Albeit air fryer, instant pot, griddle. It's pretty cool. It saves me from asking other people questions

    I like ChatGPT4 MUCH better -- until I run out of prompts. Right now I'm paying for both as well. I switch to Copilot when I can't use ChatGPT for a while.

    I think you should do more research on the different technologies. They are substantially different, while using similar base technologies, how copilot is designed and developed is significantly differ than ChatGPT.
    ChatGPT is the much more rounded full scope , copilot is designed for very unique purposes

      Thanks for watching. Could you share more of your perspective on this? At the top line I do regard Copilot, ChatGPT, and even Bard as substantially similar, as while there are differences they are designed for largely similar purposes. What do you regard as the important differences that should limit a direct comparison like this?

    Which is better at German text translation? ChatGPT plus or copilot pro
    As the heading says I want to translate text in german , so which is better ? Plus with copilot pro one can ask unlimited questions but for ChatGPT plus I heard there is a limit per hour or so ?also can ChatGPT plus use internet like copilot pro on iPhone ?

      I have no knowledge on this, but my guess is that as they both use GPT-4, at a task like translation they probably get fairly similar results. I suggest you check out the feature list for each service to check which you think will be most appropriate for your use. Thanks for watching.

    Excellent Comparison! 👍👍👍 In my work, I need to analyse some court cases and make recommendations. Which is better for uploading cases which is in PDF or Word format and analyse them? Does Copilot pro allow uploading? If not, anyway to bypass? or I need to copy and paste the content into the dialogue box every time? thx 🙏

      If your requirement is for work and working with business data, the only option is Copilot for Microsoft 365 (or if you want ChatGPT use ChatGPT Team or Enterprise) and it's the only option that gives you blanket protections of that data. The consumer versions of these products simply do not have agreements in place to give you assurances around sensitive work. Depending on the legal work you are doing and the area in which you work, you may even find that Microsoft's protections are not sufficient for your data compliance needs.

    Copilot free is definitely better than chatgpt free. The thing that makes me lean towards paying for chatgpt premium service is the custom GPTs. I'm going to hang on and hope copilot allows the same soon!

      Thanks for watching. We are yet to see Microsoft’s custom GPT creation tooling but it is announced as part of Copilot Pro.

    A lot of people complaining about getting ads with copilot and not complaining about paying for a service like chatgpt and having a message limit. Really funny.

    • @brightideasagency
      @brightideasagency  Месяц назад

      I actually don’t find that so strange. If you buy Microsoft 365 you get usage limits (1TB of storage) but you don’t expect to see ads. The problem would come if the usage limits were so low that an average user hit against them all the time. In terms of genAI the usage limit is a representation of the fact that your chat is going to fall apart as the AI hits its context limit, and so a 3000 turn chat wouldn’t actually be a helpful advance over a 30 or 50 turn chat in terms of usability.

    ChatGPT Pro is so much better, at least for now. The fact that it has Custom Instructions and can retain a long memory within each Chat, ends up saving me so much time in my prompts. It also seems to learn my writing style so when I have it rewrite something, it is much more in line with my style. It feels so much more like as assistant than Copilot. I’m testing CoPilot Pro right now, and I’m just not super impressed. My $20 will ultimately remain with ChatGPT.

      Thanks for watching. I continue to use both, and they each have strengths and weaknesses in my view.

    • @gerrell865
      @gerrell865 7 месяцев назад

      Yes that's what I concluded for myself as well. The custom instructions is wonderful. Copilot does too much when trying to reference things from internet. And it slower because of that reason

      Also copilot is really horrible inside the office 365 apps. It's almost useless

    And which system analyzes Excel files better???

    • @brightideasagency
      @brightideasagency  9 месяцев назад +1

      To manipulate an Excel file in Excel, the only real option is Copilot (either Pro or for M365). But if you're interested in pure data analysis, then I think ChatGPT currently does a better job because you can upload your files and it'll make sense of them. However, it really depends on what you are aiming to get done.

    Great comparison. Thank you!
    I was leaning toward Copilot Pro until this video. Too many short comings but the real deal breaker was the ads.
    I need insight to data in excel but I believe I can make it work with ChatGPT Plus.
    Thanks again!

    Another great video thanks! FWIW I'd love to see how much, if at all, I could use RAG features, as in MS Graph for enterprise versions, on my docs and emails with only a MS365 family account. {I suspect not all, beyond the single email or doc in context with any chat!}

    • @brightideasagency
      @brightideasagency  10 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks for watching. My understanding currently is not at all, but I have got some other testing scenarios where there seem to be interplays between Copilot Pro and Copilot for M365 in mind for future videos or social posts. Certainly if you have needs as an individual to benefit from gen ai with more than one file at a time, ChatGPT Plus has a stronger offering right now imo.

    • @brightideasagency

      I mean so does the New York Times and pretty much every other online publisher. I find it far more jarring when I see ads under enterprise accounts.
