The whole internet is a big fashion yawn- except for you my dear!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much!!! 😘
I agree ! She makes me feel so much less restricted in my choices.
I agree. Most 'fashion' influencers limit what they think I should wear at my age, 59. I like what I like and I know what looks good on me and makes me happy. And that is the key, wear what makes me happy. Thank you for your videos and actually not telling me what I should wear. 😊
@@kimhanback1302 😘
@@user-ux8nr2ej9e I'm anti- restrictions... unless it comes to cheap clothes that look bad. I'm anti- that!
Just a couple years ago, my friend informed me that crop pants were "old lady" and only women our age wore them. Now they are in again. Trends are silly. Something scorned today, is embraced and chased after tomorrow. I wear what I like.
Trends are very silly. They are only there to keep us spending!
I was thinking the exact thing….seeing little girls at ALDIs with their sparkly tutus and glitter sneakers….so jealous.
💯!
“Feminine Energy comes when you’re feeling comfortable and playful.” THIS!!!💖💫✨
You eloquently put into words a feeling I’ve operated on for years!
PS- and shapewear absolutely inhibits me from either of those feelings!
The burned velvet is very Stevie Nicks, and she is timeless. I wear it all the time especially in autumn, and have been known to self soothe by petting a patch of it when amongst uncomfortable situations/people.
That "jacket" you wear at 2.54 - OMG. I want that.
Love the ‘hair grow out’ today. Noticed the ‘sensual’ look of it right away. You go girl.
❤
Yes, please, more videos like this.
You got it! 👍
“In a 3 year old, dressing like a princess, going to daycare kind of way.” 🥰 Love it! Not sure I’d be brave enough to wear the sparkle skirt to the market but you inspire me to embrace my inner 3 year old style guru! Thanks, from a 50 year old new subscriber in Texas.
Thank you! Glad you're here! The thing about the sequined skirt is if it's sunny out, you turn your surroundings into a disco!!
@@unblahyourself good point! 🪩🕺💃🏻
I'm feeling more girlie lately. Turning 60 and finding my way.
Thankyou for some great well thought ideas.❤
Ooh I love girlie looks. Did you see this one on more romantic styles? ruclips.net/video/mAhLZnd51ig/видео.htmlsi=NytYtu7T2I7kx2DB
When I saw you layer the black lace over the black slip...you had a new subscriber. As a teenager, I always had a bit of lace on every dress I made. I've gotten away from that with age and I've missed it. Today's styles are very blah and depressing. However, I love your way of styling clothes and I'm looking forward to more. Thank you for sharing this video!
Thank you Jeanne! I'm so happy you're here! I love lace for layering and I wish I could give you this Zara piece! I totally agree that today's chase towards elegance and class can end up being boring. We have two more of these videos to go... let's hang out! 😘
Oh, my goodness! I just discovered your videos and your style is exactly what I'm all about! I've watched French stylists and they just don't have that element of fun I'm into. Having fun is everything in dressing as far as I'm concerned.
Yay for fun! Welcome Franny! ❤
Nothing old lady about you! I love your style and am binge watching your videos 🦋
Lol! I was that quirky art teacher! For so many years! Playfulness was one of the “skills” I had to reteach to cautious students who were convinced they were “not artistic”! It’s a crucial life skill.
I’m a new subscriber…and I find myself watching your explorations with fascinated…recognition. I love what you do! Most of my closet is thrifted and now, at 73, I volunteer at a local thrift store with three friends I love. The store benefits a beautiful organization that provides good life for children in trauma.
I love textiles and the art of fashion. You are a little braver than I am! But I smile through every one of your episodes and it is just so fun. I want to open my scarf collection, dig through my closet and let the dress-up begin!
Thank you, Diana, for being such a light!❤️🌺❤️
Edit p.s.-the wide blue trousers, which I love, might be Lagenlook.
Thank you so much! Glad you're enjoying these! 😘
@@unblahyourself ❤️So much!
I think the black trench makes the entire pink outfit ❤
I just love the way you enjoy your toy box of clothes, I feel my mind opening up to new possibilities, thank you❤
I'm so glad!
Hey, I'm a 70 year old lady intending to be comfortable yet attractive. I'm single and not ready to give up with orthopedic shoes and embroidered baggy t-shirts (you know the look). So I really appreciate you refusing to use us still sexy, sensual older women as scapegoats for all things bad in fashion. I have a top similar to the first one you showed, velvetish with fringe and in beautiful fall colors. EVERY time I wear it I get several compliments. I loved the lace tank, is that a recent purchase? I'd love a few of those in different colors.
Hi Sarah! I'm working on being able to provide links to things people love, but right now everything is thrifted. I would like to do a video on some basics like that tank and be able to point people in a direction to get it if they want it. I'm getting there! ❤ I think we can stay sexy for as long as we want to. There's no limit to this! I do love a good comfy shoe though! 😄
When you had those two pinks, I thought, no, no, but when you put the black trench coat on with it, WOW! You pulled all those outfits together so cute. Agree on the shapewear, too.
Great explanation of sensual 👍 I’m not generally into frilly things, and my lifestyle is very practically based- for instance my vehicle/home is a bus and long skirts too cumbersome when climbing into drivers seat, as much as I love the swish😊
Winter is arriving here in Australia, so I’d love ideas on how to translate these ideas while still staying warm 🇦🇺
If you love swish, try a large silk scarf this winter instead of wool or acrylic. It bunches up nicely and feels amazing. Also layering dresses over pants creates a lot of nice swishy-ness.
@@unblahyourself years ago I did some folk dancing. One cold night I wore trousers instead of a skirt, and it really affected my movements. After that it was always a skirt.
How refreshing to have found you! I love your feminine, creative and stunning style and looks as there’s too much on so many channels of trends and conformity at the expense of style and d actual fun in what we wear and how we present ourselves.
Thank you so much for sharing, you’ve made my Sunday morning here in Australia.
I’m a new subscriber and look forward to viewing your other videos!

This video was very interesting! Love the sensual - senses idea!
Thank you! I feel that "sensual" is the essence of feeling feminine and great.
Just found your channel and I really APPRECIATED your honest down to earth presentation! Awesome fashion looks✨✨
Thank you so much!! Welcome!
Thank you so much, my pet sitting job has me in target T shirts and shorts everyday and I really need your help to look more feminine.
Happy to help!

Just found you - through your very thorough french girl style video! I'm a decade away from 40 but love your tips and ideas on style :)
Welcome!! I'm so glad you're here! 😘
Loved these styles...hope to see more!
Love it all, I can’t find a decent thrift store in my area. I love everything out of the ordinary with a little twist. Thanks for your video,s and the work you put in it.
Glad you like these videos! Thank you!
❤
Particularly that black slip dress and black lace dress. 🙂
Your style is so enlightening! I live the philosophy, I love the style , I love the creativity! Thank you so much for sharing your creative energy!!
Thank you so much!!
I just found you and love your style!! I’m looking to change my style and your inspo is so out of the box! Love it, will try to apply your tips
Sensual made easy in that black slip dress!
The silver chain bib style necklace you modeled in a recent video is at Walmart
I really enjoy your channel! I have liked, subscribed and am looking forward to your video!
I love your sense of humor peppered with fun sarcasm.
I will be back! 🌹🌷🌸
Awesome! Thank you! Glad you're here.
Love the pinks and black coat combo ! ❤
I love your looks, I think feminine and sensual is a look I also enjoy. But I'm 4' 10, so I have to be careful with all over flowy. Loved belting the burnt velvet shirt, that would work for petites by adding waist definition and not getting swallowed in fabric.
Loving this.❤
Shape wear is awesome but in summer I find it can make me feel too hot...not in a good way 😅. I really appreciate it though if I'm wearing something that's a little bit more fitted. Nice tips...thanx Diana
Hi Barbara! I agree shapewear has its place for sure! 😅 I really just love to hate on silly ideals that have been placed upon women. I'm sure that eventually in one of these videos I'll talk about shape wear and have to backtrack! Lol
@@unblahyourself To each their own I suppose. We're nearing autumn here, but the temperatures can still reach pretty high. I like to wear shorter dresses but sometimes find I feel to exposed as you often allude to in your videos. Then I chose to wear a kind of cycling shorts underneath my dress... usually black. Probably sounds weird but works for me. Good luck with your channel. ❤️
I love your chanel! I'm so glad the algorithm introduced me to you ❤
Me too! So glad you're here!
Just discovered your channel via another RUclips video that popped up on my feed. Love your personality and presentation of your videos! ❤️ Thanks so much and looking forward to more!
I'm so glad you're here! Welcome! 😘
LOVE your style! I am all about not following whatever the current fashion looks are and pulling together what I have curated from my thrifting journeys! I am 72 yrs young!!!

Sooo fun! Love your style.❤
Such a cute presentation ❤
Love your videos!
Glad you like them! Thanks for being here!
Exactly!
Thank you ❤
You're always welcome! ❤
Ok, I DO have some strong thoughts….
Shapewear is the work of the devil. I bought some to wear to my daughter’s and then subsequently one of my sons’ weddings. I have realized that when you are a “fluffier diva” (to borrow the Jamaican term), it’s just going to make you look like a slightly thinner overweight woman and you are going to SUFFER for that. My last child is getting married in two weeks and shapewear will be nowhere in sight!
Lastly, you mentioned with the last outfit that you could throw a jean jacket over it. Right after you said that I heard the cartoon brakes screeching in my head! I was always told to stay away from the “Canadian Tuxedo” of denim on top and bottom. Has something changed, or is it just coming to the point that we don’t care about the “fashion rules” and make our own rules up to make ourselves happy?
Hugs from Canada’s Arctic❣️❣️🇨🇦
I use fashion rules as a last resort. Most of the time I just play around until I'm comfortable with it, but if I can't get it to work, I'll go to some basic rules. I think simply enjoying your outfit is most important!
Tulip leg pant
Love the cover up!
Love your chatty videos. You’re fun. You’d be great to shop with. X
Glad you like these! 😘
Love your style, got so many good ideas
Glad you liked it!!
Evening is feminine when a woman is slim and sweet like you my dear , curvy like me is not very simple….
YES!!!
🙌
I love this but I need more ideas for home in jeans please!! I am 54 and can not seem to find my way out of jeans. My everyday life is home wearing jeans. I feel most comfortable in jeans. I love jeans. I am fortunate to still have an athletic and feminine shape at this age and would like to feel and look more feminine and sensual. Honestly, my favorite target T, no matter how fittied it is, it just makes me feel ready to clean the house. 😂
Casual skirts and casual dresses. Keyword casual, if it feels uncomfortable at first. Good luck!
@lydzphens Hi! You might like this one about jeans and tank outfits! ruclips.net/video/pl-Eczb_iSY/видео.htmlsi=4xDRsw6TrwdzuwMu
@@unblahyourself thank you for referring this video. Many ideas are coming! ❤️❤️❤️
I love to wear bolero sweaters and jackets over revealing deep v camis I bought four at one vintage shop inexpensive they really look soft and sensual
I wear mine over my boho skirts .So many women are too timid to look feminine amd sensual, I also wear them with pants and jeans.
Sounds awesome!
Moo-moo gives me Molly Ringwald vibes. 🥰
Never say never...! 😉
Wondering how tall are you ? Love your lipsticks. Can you share the brand and colors. I’m loving your philosophy !
Thank you so much for hanging out with me Cynthia! I'm 5'9". I keep forgetting to mention this in my newer videos, and I think it's important so people know how or why something hangs like it does. I think I need to do a separate video on lipsticks because I keep getting asked about it! This is probably a combo of two MAC lipsticks, Mocha and Russian Red.
I sweat too much now for some of those materials. I've been having to wear blk to circumvent
Can you show us your hair cut?
It's always changing! A lot of people ask me to show the back so maybe I'll do that soon because I purposely don't show the back ( I cut it mostly myself!)
Algorithm
I'm older than you... by a fair bit, and heavier than I ever expected to be. My hair is almost all white and very curly. How do I look younger and more relevant?
I think "younger" is something you don't try for because we should always enjoy being our current age, but I get what you're asking. So if not younger, what can we aim for? Aim for beautiful fabrics, interesting shapes, well fitting clothes in beautiful colors that look best on you. Enlist the help of a hairstylist to find a modern haircut that you'll love. Being heavier than you expect can definitely make one feel not so great so I'd say if you're not actively working on getting fit, it could be great fun to join some dance classes. Or if you can't get your weight to where you want it, just enjoy really fun and great clothes at any size. Now being more "relevant" is a different question and I think the answer has more to do with helping people/volunteering/ being a great friend/ and keep learning things. This is probably way too much advice for a comment box but thank you for asking and thank you for being here!
@unblahyourself actually I have a neurological disease that won't let me exercise and losing weight just isn't working even with assorted programs/helpers. I need to dress what I have. I think my hairstyle is working as I get compliments on it almost every time I go out. It's the clothes. I can't wear most of what you show, which just bugs me because I love your looks and support your philosophy wholeheartedly. Thank you for your time. I'll continue to choose the fun stuff and fine fabrics. You do inspire me to try.
@@rondawiebe1505
Have you looked at body shape and color analysis? Body shape helps with choosing flattering clothing styles and color analysis helps with knowing whether you look best in warm vs cool, dark vs light, and clear vs muted colors. You can then determine which colors are most flattering, wearable, and unflattering for you. Patterns, some fabrics, accessories, and makeup can all be affected by this.
The individual clothing pieces worn in this video will not be universally flattering, but the principle of dressing in a fun and feminine manner can be used by anyone.
Thanks @rosebudmelissa! Very helpful!
@rosebudmelissa I've taught classes on colour and I'm a decent stylist most of the time. The problem is strictly size and a medical inability to lose weight. Forget I asked. There's nothing new to help me.
