When you're doing things you enjoy, you're likely to be happy and open and meet people with those same interests. I do this especially by traveling solo. It's SO MUCH FUN! When you're with someone else, you build an invisible wall and close yourselves off from others. When you're alone, you can join as you wish. It's a blast!
Yes! I'm 73 and have had knee replacement surgery (interpret: big scar) and I wore a knee-length skirt today. You're sooo right....life is too short to worry about scars and varicose veins!❤Thanks!
For the life of me I had never been able to figure out what were my best colours. As a heavily-freckled-on-ghost-white redhead with blue eyes, no colour specialist would even try! I love cool colours and jewel tones so that's what I've been wearing most of my life. Still I wasn't sure. I wear a lot of t-shirts as undergarments and as sleepwear so I bought several of them in all colours, vivid and pastels, and tried them as t-shirts one by one. At about 5 euros a t-shirt, it was not a bad investment as I still wear the "ugly" colours (helloooo orange!) to bed or for messy house/garden projects! I'm still looking for the perfect red lipstick though. I'm not going to buy multiples of those!
I don’t understand what’s wrong with an “overactive eyebrow”. I also have one that seems more excited than the other, and everybody has always pointed it out as a unique and cute feature 😅
Right, the evidence shows you are telling the truth. Please stay conceited, humility is overvalued. Vanity can keep you alive when little other inspiration is available.
Hi, Diana! I find your videos to be very positive. I appreciate how you say 45 and above, rather than 50’s and 60’s, like after, it’s irrelevant. I am 69 and made real changes after two knee replacements two years ago. I wanted to keep being a giver and realized I needed to have the surgeries ifI wanted that. It then hit me that I could become younger! I started seriously exercising 3 times a week in classes , which I plan to increase to 6 times a week by going on the recumbent bike I own. I will begin today! Thank you again! I don’t think it sounds conceited to say you look better-what’s true is true. Why shouldn’t we strive for that? All the best to you!
Color me beautiful from the 80 and 90’s it did suggest you are naturally drawn to your color. Usually. I was. And I’m a winter. Though some thought I was an Autumn. After a friend made my face as if I was an Autumn was shocked how it was not me. I was faded and lost in it. She then realized I was winter.
I have been very confused as to whether I'm a soft autumn or soft summer, but what I've come up with is if I want my skin to look tan and golden, I'll go with autumn but my green eyes disappear. If I want my eyes to look green, I go with summer. So I might be in a weird place in between.

Definitely take time to yourself, last year I took a long weekend and flew to Brussels to go see the Christmas markets, my husband and 8 year old daughter didn't want to go, so I went by myself. It was glorious 😊😊😊😊 it is something that I have been wanting to do for a long time and I am so happy that I did it. Right now i am home alone for 36 hours, i could have gone with my family, but I wanted a little time to myself, it's been 6 weeks of summer holidays and I need a little quiet time 😂. I am going to look into the microneedling👍☺️
@@unblahyourself Or the ones in Luxembourg, France, Italy, Austria, Belgium, etc. They are all pretty spectacular, although I'm super partial to those in Luxembourg, Italy, and France. There are whole neighborhoods in Naples that make some of the most beautiful crèches I have ever seen. I've even seen wonderful Christmas market goods in Sri Lanka, Turkey, India, and Pakistan. Bottom line--go out and play!

I love going solo when my hubby doesn't want to join me in something that I want to do. Finding the things in life which serve you best, and letting go of anything that doesn't is LIBERATING!
