Pilates Exercises for Beginners & Seniors // All Standing 20 minute Workout

- The exercises in this all standing Pilates workout are perfect for Seniors and Beginners or anyone who is not comfortable getting on the floor or on their hands and knees. This workout will challenge you and leave you feeling great!
We will work all the major muscle groups in this full body workout. There are lots of posture and balance exercises as well. Everything is low impact and effective.
As always, go at your own pace and work your way up if you find some the exercises challenging. Just go slow, take a break when needed and return when you are ready.
You don’t need any equipment for this standing Pilates workout with the exception of a chair to aid with some moves including stretching.

This a wonderful video. I feel like you are in the room with me, reminding me to pull in my stomach, put my shoulders down and back and to breath. These prompts challenge me to perform with proper technique, which only improves the benefit of exercising.

I had a horrifying root canal experience this week and haven't been up to snuff in the workout department but felt I needed some movement. I was so pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this Pilates workout and by how effective it was. Dare I say I may be sore tomorrow! Thank you for this video. Thank you so much for these workouts. I've done this one and your dance and dance + kickboxing ones and they've all been great. I'm young but have some chronic health issues and joint pain so it has been difficult to find exercise I can do to stay active and get stronger. Thank you!

Day 31, full month in now doing one of your videos every day on top of my usual exercises. I can proudly and gratefully announce, that I wore a pair of trousers today that were slightly uncomfortable four weeks ago and today they slipped on nicely. Have not lost any weight BUT must have lost inches and toned up. Massive thank you, Lauren, see you tomorrow.

hey a little difficult to bend on knees due to arthritis, can u do a version where knee bending can be a little easy or easy version. Otherwise a good one. I am sweating Just too good on calories.

TJ, knee bending can always be modified to your own level. Just make the moves smaller.

Hi Kristen! Some exercises will be great, but a few could aggravate it. If you are aware of what to avoid, then I would just modify when needed. Any specific questions should be directed to your doctor. Now you have me thinking I should do a sciatica focused workout 🤔
