What Coach Snyder pulled off at KSU (especially in his first stint) was pretty miraculous. He took a team that was nothing short of abysmal (everyone wanted them as their Homecoming opponent lol....I actually don't know that, it was just a joke), and turned them into a very competitive team (for quite awhile at least). Don't forget that at 1 point, he had Bob and Mike Stoops and Brent Venables on his Staff! Sadly, in 1995 OU was in the middle of their 10 year sabbatical from CFB....ugh. That was a very tough decade. Had OU not fallen apart after Coach Switzer left, the Big8 Conference would have been much much stronger.
@@maddogrob7744 extremely lol. I just believe Coach Snyder doesn't get the respect he deserves for what he accomplished. Nebraska was up 42-6 when they pulled the starters. Half of the Big 8 in its final year finished in the Top 10 AT THE END OF THE SEASON. KSU. KU, and Colorado each finished 10-2 - one loss to Nebraska, and the other loss to two of those three teams (KSU lost to Colorado as well). They beat four teams that finished the season in the top 10 by a combined score of 49-18. This was the only one of those games they played on their home field. The worst game they played was a home game against Washington State. WSU finished 3-8 for the year, and it was the only time the 1995 squad trailed a game at the end of the first quarter in the regular season (they were down 10-6 to Florida in the Fiesta Bowl).

What's your highest ranking "this century"? Hell, ANY century?
Highest ranking for K-State in a season: number 1 in 1998. Whipped Oklahoma in the 2003 Big XII title game. Came within a play away from playing for the 1998 BCS national championship and most people believe they would have beaten that great Tennessee Volunteers team
Shaky beginning. Ha.
And you guys had an appearance to play for a National Championship...and you blew it AGAINST A BAYLOR TEAM THAT WAS UNDER .500 AT THE TIME! HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAA!!! Boy, ol' grandpa Snyder sure choked on that one!!! Good luck next year without Optimus. LMAO@U!!! Of course, nothing new. KSU is an inferior school. I mean, what are they known for? Nothing. Oh, wait. They ARE known for one thing. They make a big deal and celebrate first downs! HA HA HAAAAAA!!!
KSU has had a Heisman Trophy runner up, which is better than 90% of schools out there
What is it like to have never won a conference championship in the 21st century? I wouldn't know. My teams has 2. 70 points given up to a 7-5 team? LOL!
When you're picked to finish at the bottom of the Big 12 and then go 10-3...yeah I would say you would be satisfied. And what did we do this year? Went out and went 11-1! Hahaha and meanwhile Nebraska shit the bed AGAIN in the conference title game ahhahahahahahaha!
OK, you need to make up your mind. On two counts, really. First, you bring up the past. Then you tell me I'm living in the past. So, on the first count, you're STILL being a hypocrite. THEN, secondly, you want to talk about "the 21st century". NOW, you want to only talk about the past 2 years. Either way, you lose. Your "team" hasn't been to a national championship like mine has in the 21st century. In the last two years, your "team" hasn't been to a conference championship. You lose...again.
K-State has won the Big XII title in 2003 and 2012
It's funny how you don't address the points I bring up such as how KSU is happy to finish 10-3 while NU isn't. It's kinda like bums are happy eating garbage. That's KSU...garbage eaters that are happy. LMAO! OK, now don't reply to this...ready...GO! LMAO!
Finished with 11 win seasons multiple times at KSU
THIS TEAM WOULD NOT BEAT 01 MIAMI OR 11 ALABAMA
Sez you. Dumbass.
