    Loving the build as all ways.

    I built the DeAgostini Spitfire kit and this has much more technology involved. The Spit was wood and sheet metal and took forever to complete.
    Nice job!

    Hello Wayne that's a very impressive plane A6M2 Zero fighter as seen in pearl harbor. When war was inevitable the Japanese had no choice but war. When pearl harbor was attacked bombed. Nice plane nice work I enjoyed this video on this build. 👍👍💔💘

      Pearl Harbor was the worst American film ever made. As i remember watching it on DVD but that,s Hollywood for you👎💴🇺🇸

    Hi Wayne! Thanks for the video. As I am working on this stage too, you might recheck your pilots hand hold that went in the side the fuselage @ 15:36. I believe you have it in backwards. The long step should be on the out side and swing out 90 degrees to the fuselage. Other than that, mine matches up with yours. Also the large Red decals to come "spots" as you say, are called the Hinomaru or, the "meatball" by allied forces. It's a symbol for the rising sun. Normally they have a white outline, but many were painted over for camouflage reasons. This particular plane is modeled after a real Zero based on Saipan in 1944. It was used for anti shipping or Kamikaze attacks. I have some cool actual pics and other info on this plane if you would like them.

    I am also enjoying this build and cannot wait for pack 9. You need to correct your landing gear Wayne its a bit floppy. 😆 Great video.

      Lol. It’s fine actually. It’s the flap that’s floppy. It keeps pulling the wheel down but I need to have the wheels down to reattach it

    Hi wayne that's what the chef said when he was cooking eggs lol .wow that looks great. Good idea about the corner braces are they metal or wooden panels the americans nickname the zeros Zekes or meatballs

    • @cs7511
      @cs7511 2 года назад

      Meatball referrers to the hinomaru or meatballs. These were the red, round insignia for the wings and fuselage.

    This one is coming along faster than the spitfire even if its build started a lot later.

    I now have three air craft that I would HAVE to build if they started making them.
    F-82 Twin Mustang
    P-38 Lightning.
    C-119 Flying Boxcar
    the boxcar is kind of one I just learned about those I've seen something like it before but only in animation so I didn't know there was a real air craft they were based on.

      My dad was a cargo plane pilot in the Air Force and flew C119s when I was real young.. I always thought they were interesting.. It was a big improvement on the C82 Packet.... Italei makes a 1/72 model and you can get molded metal gear struts to upgrade it.. I have the kit and struts and plan to build the kit to match one of the planes my dad flew

    I also love my Zero build although I'm worried I my be arguing with Agora soon as the promo photos show a pilot in the plane, so far my Zero will look great in flight mode with no pilot was hoping model wouldn't require decals, so that's upto me to bugger those up.

    • @cs7511
      @cs7511 2 года назад

      You can use the 1/16 Tamiya Japanese Zero pilot. With some surgery, putty, and careful bending, you can render a good, very detailed pilot figure. I'm doing that with mine.

    This looks like a better designed and developed build than the spitfire. How big is the base for this, is it as big as the spitfire? Agora should do a spitfire in the future I for one would definitely buy it.

    I was originally going to build the Spitfire, but research showed some inaccuracies with the colour scheme that they chose. Basically the Duck Egg Green/ Black underside, so I abandoned the project. I admit that I would be tempted with an Agora aircraft kit.

    I love models and I love planes but I prefer the passenger planes. If I was to build a model plane. I would build the airbus a320 because recently I flew the plane on flight simulator on the Xbox.

    Hi there my friend, I was wondering if you might help me out here. I purchased both the firetruck and the A6m from watching you. I got the fast track which gave me serveral issues up front. Once I got them Agora models fell flat on their face as the customer service really was horrible. They had a account glich which I had to staighten out but the bigger issues is that they have not gotten to me Issues 9 and 10 of this model. Who ever is over there has told me in no uncertain terms that the parts were delivered to my post. They our not being cooperative. I though if you could drop them a line letting them know that one of you patrons willnt be able to finish his model this will be sad. And I believe I will try one of your other companys models.
    Well thanks for listening.
    Sir Scotty
