    The large ‘bomb’ is indeed an external 73 imperial gallon drop tank that could be jettisoned. The increased mileage was a bonus, but because of the material used for construction of the aircraft plus the lack of armour plate, meant that a good close range burst could easily set the aircraft on fire.

    Hello. Wanted to post this comment, EVEN THOUGH I am waiting for the Zero Pack 12 to arrive here in California. I am waiting to watch YOUR video later. I'm going to bring up something interesting, it is just ONE of the items from your Amazon store...the magnifying glasses. They are truly great, and I've used others. BUT? My "fat head" caused mine to break near the right temple. I was using it, on and off, as spectacles. Anyway, a bit of epoxy ingenuity and using the elastic headband instead?? Now, I'm "right as rain"....(a 'Young Frankenstein' reference of course). Anyhow? Carry on, AND always remember author Douglas Adams' motto? "Don't Panic!". (Hitchhiker's Guide, of course).

    Hello there. My "heads up" after competing my Agora Zero. The decals. OK, let's be clear, these decals aren't like what you'd usually find in another kit. They don't "float". I mean, put them down where you want them to stay!!! Also, if you are a scale modeler, you already know about decal setting solutions. These decals are thick, but I used several applications of Micro-Sol to help them hug down. Finally, a few other things:. Be careful of the delicate parts!!! I cannot emphasize this enough. I am planning to order another kit from Agora, not just this one. Currently working on Titanic and Jaguar, for what is it's worth...

    Just as an FYI with the circular batteries the first two numbers are the diameter in mm, so 20mm, and the second two the depth in tenths of a mm, so 25 or 2.5 mm. The most common, used in watches and computers are 2032s :)

    I think that the "middle bomb" is in fact a 'Drop Tank' these were extra fuel tanks, that fighter aircraft used to cary to extend their flight range, and when empty they could be 'droped' hence 'Drop tank'! Re the USB cable that you have ordered, why don't the supply one with the kit?

    I could see someone buying Eaglemoss what with the number of deals they have going with studios to produce models. They may have been poorly run as a company but in better hands to monetise these deals someone could be successful there. I think a lot of companies would love to have a foot through the door with companies like MGM & CBS/Paramount and a few others and with Eaglemoss they have that.

    • @twigwonderkid
      @twigwonderkid 2 года назад +1

      Eaglemoss business model was based on 120 issues and a lot of subscriber’s. If Eaglemoss couldn’t make this work it’s extremely difficult to see how anyone else with the remaining issues could make a profit. That’s setting aside the ill fitting windows, the light leaks, more batteries than Duracell and no one knows how the saucer fits. I think we’d all like it to happen, but it’s just not feasible

      Use luke warm water first. Down load the instructions or read the the decaling instructions. Use a Q-tip and moisten the area where you will place the decal, that will help the decal slide around until it is lined up. There's actually a guide line on the wings fuselage and tail! Then, take a dry Q-tip and roll it across the decal until it is smooth and dry. I would not recommend setting solution because I don't know how these decals we react. Let dry. I'm waiting on Pack 12 too.

    Did you find the part that was missing from the right aileron? This is a massive model, where are you going to put it? It's a real shame the Ecto 1 won't be completed, that was my favourite of all the car builds. The Centreline thing you called a bomb is actually a 300 gallon drop tank to increase the planes effective range.

I was going to say if you needed one I could scratch built one if you sent me an image of the other one with the correct dimensions and I'd have painted it the correct colour too. Scratch building is my thing. I make all kinds of things from figures of pilot's to my own designs. I'm making lots of post apocalyptic Mad Max style vehicles and Steam Punk stuff at the moment for some fans of the genre at the moment and have more materials than I need.

    • @WorldofWayneUK
      @WorldofWayneUK  2 года назад +1

      The Spitfire had a rack and pinion gear system which kept jamming and causing all sort of
      Problems. The limiter switchers were very cheap as well. This model uses a clever cam which is just a motor spinning and a cam attached to the end. If I have learnt something over the last few months the simpler you can make it the more likely it will
      Work lol
