The price for this is absurd, $1,400 for a mostly plastic tank that doesn't even shoot bb's??.... you can get all metal tanks that are RTR from Taigen, Torro and Mato for half the price... You can get a fully loaded (plastic haul) Heng Long for 1/4 of the price!

I love the look of it, it looks stunning, but its not meant to be actually used. Think if I was to invest in one of these it would definately be a shelf queen. The phrase "All show and no trousers" springs to mind.

Gotta agree with you Steve, It looks amazing that's for sure and it comes painted really well. Glad it's RC and has metal drive train gearboxes and tracks. Those options can be expensive on other RC tanks.
It's Exxy and after owning a HengLong Leopard 2A6 for a lot of years I kinda love the BB action lol. The camera view on the controller is also awesome.

Considering what it cost, £1000 in UK I have found it rather disappointing. The Torro Leopard 2A6 Metal version is nearly half the cost and has full metal lower hull and running gear. Having plastic wheels running on plastic suspension arms which twist under any stress is rubbish. The metal and rubber pad tracks are the best part in my opinion and when I first received the metal turret in pack one I was in high hopes but after that it felt like down hill. A pack 13 was issued and it did sort out issues with the turret and lights and was also supposed to improve the sound but that's still poor but there are still problems with the pinion gears on the motors slipping on the shafts. There are no locking screws, their just pushed on and rely on a tight fit. Also the turret ring gear slips teeth occasionally.
Agora have some really nice static display models but this is their first venture into RC and I just don't think its up to the running requirements.
IMHO, unless you're having a severe adversity to painting a model ( ideally with an Airbrush ) then Tamiya is still the better Choice considering they're about the same price but the Tamiya one coming - despite its age - with higher quality construction and tech inside ( minus the FPV and Smoker System ) like a surprisingly silent Differential Gearbox, a Bearing Race for the Turret Ring, true Two Stick Controls, etc... etc... ruclips.net/video/VNP6Dstz6wc/видео.html
The only thing you're missing out will be the FPV Camera and Smoker Unit both of which will be a short-lived fad whereas everything else like a gorgeous Sound on the Tamiya one will remain.
I do love tamiya tanks, they are overall great quality. Although the latest heng longs are great. They have definitely stepped up their game.

From memory its considerably more expensive than the Tamiya top of the range, steel gearbox, etc. version.
Also not sure I'm a huge fan of the "build by installments" approach.
II can't recall if it has a slip ring to allow the turret to traverse 360 degrees or not.
But it has been painted for you. :)

That's another reason why I'm not too interested.
The real vehicle doesn't have that.
The rectangular box on the right hand turret roof is the "dog box" housing the Gunner's primary sight.

Makes sense as I'm pretty sure when you showed that view it had the barrel visible on the left of shot.

Looks absolutely great. Pretty sad for the rest. Not to be used as a runner. Turret recoil locks up. Right transmission locks up after 2 min driving. Smoke system does not work. Turret turns only properly in one direction. I bought this as a runner but now I know better. Like you said. It is what it is, a display model. Getting me a heng long instead.

i own 4 rc tanks 3 are heng long and the other is a taegen.. i am curious as to the weight of the leopard and the price . i have found a heavier tank runs better, more realistic . you don't want a rc tank that flys around like a race car. out of my 4 rc tank i like the taegen best .. it is a a tiger tank it has everything your leopard does except the camera.. the newer rc tanks model have barrel flash, barrel recoil and smoke that comes out the barrel was well. i think the leopard is nice, it has a good amount of detail i am not a fan of the control unit. the motors for the tracks seems small and the battery unit seems very small . can you swap out the battery or is it hard wired so you only can use that battery? i don't want you to think i'm being a wise guy with all the questions but i am a rc tanks lover. if possible can you answer my questions, depending on the answers i might get one

I have bought one and assembled it , all are nice and (Not always I am afraid) easy , except the metal track. I have only assembled several links , then leave the remaining there for two years. The jobs are really difficult to me. How did you find it? Any better skills and/or tools needed? Best regards.

I have this. I have to disagree on a few things with you as far as Agora Models. There customer service is like talking to small children. Almost half of the parts I was sent are damaged or defective in some way, and when I contacted them I had to explain to them, TWICE, why watching a youtube video is not going to repair broken wiring. The Turret motor work fine in one direction, but sounds like rolling death in the other, the drive motors are SO LOUD, that putting the sound box in it was just a wasted effort, and the "recoil action" only works about 40% of the time. This is no where near worth the $1400 it costs, and I feel so ripped off by this company that it isn't even funny. I trusted videos and reviews and I got scammed. I would have been a LOT better off just hunting down the Tamiya tank and building that, it would have cost me a lot less money and time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.
And I see yours wont turn properly either. Agora said this thing works great and there were no issues, but you even proved it has serious problems. This will never be worth the $1400....
I have contacted and they sent me new parts. I haven't had issues regarding customer service
@@RCTanksTrucks247 I initially contacted them about missing parts, broken parts, etc. The very first thing they told me in an email was "go check out this video about getting your smoke machine to work", after my email clearly stated the smoke machine had a broken wire. Most of the replys and responses I have gotten are clear signs of them not reading the emails I sent, or just sending me replacement parts that are also defective. Best example of this is the cover door for recharging. The first one I got closes fine, but one of the hing pins was missing. So they sent me a replacement after going back and forth, and the new one is defective in that it is warped and won't even close. I guess the customer support for a U.S. based customer is just not on par with the UK and other places. Kinda sad really.
Update. Today I got a package in the mail from Agora Models. They sent the replacement parts for the damaged ones, again, and big surprise, the defect part has THE EXACT SAME DEFECT. They aren't even trying at this point. They have begged me a couple times to remove the negative reviews, but they have done nothing at all to fix the actual problem. This company has shown me just how sad they truly are. I think I get better quality and service from Aliexpress or Wish to be perfectly honest...
New update. Agora Models sent out a new kit to replace the one they originally sent to me. To no surprise at all, there were missing parts. I sent an email to notify them, the reply was insulting as well as an attempt to get out of what they should have done. I told them I went through everything, and there were 2 of one package of parts, but the next package of parts was missing. Their response was "did you look in the pack? it will be in that one"....this after I told them I went through all the packs. This is just a bad company to deal with. I am happy that you haven't had any problems, but that is far from being a good company if they treat any customers in this manner. People who are thinking about getting this need to know that they may (and most likely will) have to deal with this, which makes it nowhere near worth the $1400 price tag. My advice would be to avoid them and just find yourself a Tamiya kit, you will be a lot happier.

My friend is a dealer in China and photographed the building this is made in...
And so is the finished model in RC for the other market...
But if you want to say that you built this tank yourself...
Then go ahead and "BLOW" over $1500 for it...
You people have to go on line and really see what's out there...
Yup...some of the Agora Models builds and IXO and Fanhome builds are only available as a build and I'm building some of them...
But when there's other offerings...shop around...!!!!
