You are so organised! Thanks for another great vlog. We are a family of 6 so there are always lots of different opinions on what board game to play or film to watch. We each write our choices on bits of paper and have 1 mug for games, 1 for films. Whatever is drawn must be played/watched. We usually get through a decent amount of draws over the period.
Hi Sam. I love your theme of kindness and seeing your wonderful family card-making session. Our family tradition is to save all the Christmas cards we receive and then use them as decorations on Christmas presents in future years. The numbers of cards have been dwindling over the last decade, but we still have a stash of cards sent to us over previous years. They're too nice to recycle by grinding them up. This way they get pride of place once more before other means of recycling happen. I've also been enjoying Sarah at Superbailles Sews as she opens your Advent Swapmas package (another great idea!). The wreath you made is beautiful. Thank you for making Christmas come alive from December 1 on, Antonia
So glad you enjoyed the cranberry and pistachio biscotti! I had to make biscuits for the biscuit queen. Really enjoying your vlogmas. The phone at the end! 😂😂
Hi Sam! Lol, I'm a careful unpicked. It drives my kids wild. Now they're adults, I unwrap even more slowly to make the time together last even more. There aren't as many gifts under the tree either. We also open our gifts one at a time, while everyone watches the others. It's fun to see that now, my children are taking care and being more imaginative with their wrapping. Love it all.
@@sequingirlie Oh that's funny. I might have to do that this year! Thanks Sam for all you do and all the times you have kept me company over the last year, made me think, and influenced me in a good way.
I'm a careful unwrapper, and if it's nice enough paper it gets reused!! We don't have a lot of traditions but when they were growing up, I bought each of my kids a tree decoration each, which are kept separately in their stockings. Each year they put them on the tree from about age 3 and when they have a place of their own they'll have a bit of their childhood Christmas with them. Love the tin and home made goodies but oh dear, your phone. Hope it's okay
Love the cards and pleased you rescued your phone. I’m definitely a ripper - always too excited to take the time to carefully unwrap. Love your sweater - is that a me made? The fabric is beautiful x
