Love it. I can't believe it when you showed what he was making, that is exactly how we make it! A lot of times, I see other versions in a red sauce and ours that we make is not. I love the pasta with beans!
I moved to the south, USA, 30 years ago and learned that, at New Year's, it is customary to eat collard greens and black eyed peas for good fortune in the upcoming year. Luckily, I like the taste of both! It's really neat to hear other people have similar traditions ❤❤❤ The view of the delicatessen is stunning! The view at my local Walmart is miserable at best, lol! Pannetone is one of my favorites and I make bread pudding with it and top it with an amaretto glaze, soooo good! You are so blessed to be surrounded by so much beauty 😍😍😍

My Italian grandmother from Naples (who moved to the US) used to make the most delicious Struffoli - much more honey and candy sprinkles than appearing here. It's sad that every successive generation (my mother, now me) have lost these amazing Italian cooking traditions. Love your channel and can't believe how much it's grown!

Really lovely. I ‘m sure I can smell all the food. I did think last year how wonderful it must be to be in Positano at Christmas and here I am again still wishing I was there . One day! I have got a little Christmas decoration I bought when I visited Sorrento in September 2017 and that reminds me of how lovely it was in that area. Looking forward to the next one, think I’ll sit and have a chocolate from the advent calendar while I’m watching next time
Your Christmas/advent videos are already savored! I saved it to watch last before going to sleep. Your little community in Positano is so heartwarming! Its like I want to be there too. Loved Positano when I visited in June/July of 2019. I'm moving back to Florence in January. 1 month from today, actually! And looking forward to enjoying life in Italy again. I was there last weekend.Amazing place indeed.Positano was empty,rainy and cold but incredibly beautiful.Then on Saturday the sun came out and we went to Ravello and Amalfi.La Costiera is heaven on earth

I love the BBC hat! I love the Vlogmas format--with you and Carlo doing it together in Italian/English--with all the Christmas food and decorations--it is like a daily Christmas treat for advent! The Christmas foods look amazing--we have panetones with fruit and some with chocolate chips (yum) shipped in from Italy, of course...also, Perugia candies and Almond Rocco is a big hit here at Christmas...Thanks for sharing...dts/usa

My husband and I were lucky to be in this delicatessen a few times on our visits to Positano, and it always reminds of the Italian store my grandparents had , especially the huge wheel of Parmigiana Regianno and the delicious hunk we took back to our room.🥰

When I took my daughter to Milan we visited the local supermarket just to see. Loved it. Tells a lot about the area. Always get hungry in these places. Thanks. You’re right. I see this corner deli in almost all Positano videos that I’ve seen.

I was there last weekend.Amazing place indeed.Positano was empty,rainy and cold but incredibly beautiful.Then on Saturday the sun came out and we went to Ravello and Amalfi.La Costiera is heaven on earth
Wonderful vlog, amazing selections and art, lemon theme, the soul of the town. I'm going to get a Positano soup bowl / candle somehow, and limoncello, on my list. Even the rough sea and storm is alluring.
Nicki, they should give you and Carlos the key to the city because you two have done more than any high-priced marketing gurus could ever do to open the world's collective eyes to everything Positano in an incredibly positive way!
I often wonder what are inside packets of food that I don't recognise in the small shops. Thanks for sharing - great video.

Many thanks for this latest great video...we've been to this wonderful Positani "deli" many times, and I always have them make me a panino with prociutto cotto, some excellent cheese, and sliced tomato...the best!, and when you are hungry, nothing can top it! We love these new "every day" Christmas videos, and especially seeing Carlo becoming an internet star himself...congratulations on the great work...and a very Happy Holiday to you all!
