- Pityrosporum Folliculitis aka "Fungal Acne" appears as skin colored papules that are very uniform in appearance (all the same size and shape). This differs from traditional acne which can appear in various different stages. You may see blackheads, whiteheads aka open or closed comedones, papules or cyst present at the same time.
It is important to get an accurate diagnosis from a dermatologist if you are unsure of your condition because using the wrong treatment can worsen the condition.
Why can’t we always have the flawless skin we have as babies??!!😭 acne is so frustrating especially when nothing is working!!!!

Because they really don't t care about us. They only care about themselves and what they have to say. They don't do this to actually help people.
I have this all over my back. It has resulted in really bad scarring. It looks like every single pore on my back has an acne scar. I Have been to 4 different derms. They just tell me to use panoxyl or salicylic acid or sulfur wash but none have had any impact. I haven’t worn a swimsuit or open back shirt or dress in years due to this. It has ruined my self esteem and now I am starting to get it on my chest too

@@angeliaregina No real improvement as of right now. I stopped using scented laundry detergent and dryer sheets so that has helped a little, but I am still not sure what else triggers it.

I had this type of acne and what killed it is anti-dandruff shampoo just make sure to get rid of the normal ance cause if you use this while you have it ,it will become much worse.

I get these between my eyebrows a lot. I apply sulfur for 2 days and they go away. No more than two days though because the skin will dry out and peel.
What kind of sulphur? Like a cream or ointment? Ive only seen sulphur grease. Do you mind reccomended ypur product specifically? I started getting these between my brows lately, and thought it was clogged pores. I was my face 2x a day but they slowly go away when I was 3 or.4x which is too much 🤧. I later assumed it was because I hit my 30s and my skin texture was just changing lol. It's less oily, so maybe it is clogged pores from my sebum. Would like to try the sulphur!

Well when I was taking a medicine to lower estrogen, I read somewhere about hormonal acne and how when skin gets more dry, the sebum gets "sticky" and clogs the pores and doesnt free flow to make the skin oily. But since it happened in waves for me, I thought it might have been fungal from sweat instead. I've been using salicylic acid to unclog the pores, and grapeseed oil to "thin" the oil, but every now and then I see them pop up faintly, but not as bad as they used to be. So going to give the sulfur a try! Thank you for responding!
