I remember waiting for this record *forever* after getting the Past Our Means EP and loving it. And looking back it was like three years and now it makes me laugh. That’s short between records nowadays.
I remember when this album came out and liking it, then the next album came out “Our Darkest Days” and loving it. It’s like the producer in the studio was like “that was good and now do it better”. Everything on the next album is much stronger.
They have no bad songs no bad albums and do actually do what they sing about. My first band opened for them in 2000 and have kept in touch with them since they’re a awesome band and yes it sucks Zoli is retired from the band but Brett is keeping it strong as he created the band.
This album is so good. I'm not a big fan of militaries or nation-states in general, but the way veterans are treated by the government that sent them to die is disgusting.
@@joemiller7082 Good point, well that whole EP is amazing. Got mad love for original Ignite with the different singer in the album Scarred For Life and when Zoli entered in Call on My Brothers is an all time classic must-have too for anyone into sometimes melodic hardcore punk.

Great pick from Marcel! Zoli has one of the best voices in punk.

Poverty for all is also a mad song you guys should check out !
Powerful song with a powerful message.
Love ignite!! Haven’t heard much of their newer stuff since zoli left though. Not sure how the new vocalist is. Our darkest days album is amazing
Cool to see you reacting to ignite. They're a great band to see live too
Have you seen them with the new singer? It’s OK, but not the same without Zoli.
Yeah. True it’s not the same, but I still like with the new guy
Los vi en el Warped tour en Barcelona en el 2004,inolvidable

Our Darkest Days is a masterpiece.
@@strangefame81 - "Our Darkest Days" got a ridiculous amount of play in my college music rotation. Hell, it STILL gets a ton of love from me, now! ❤❤
Such a good band!

Bullets Included (No Thought Required) next! or Past Our Means! Or maybe Taken Away, that'd be cool.
Embrace off Past Our Means is one of the best hardcore songs of all time, imo.
@@joemiller7082100% agreed.
