A created nature cannot morph with an uncreated nature, because if a created nature combines with an uncreated nature, it results a created nature. Why does that happen? Because you are limitting the uncreated nature by morphing it with a created nature, thus still making it a created nature and basically tainting the divinity. My understanding of Christ is that, since he is part of the trinity, he existed infinitely prior to following the Father’s will to come to earth as a human. Then, while he was on earth for 33 years, he had 2 natures: fully God and fully man. Then, when he rose from the dead, and ascended to heaven, he was once again only fully God, as there now was no longer a need for the human form.

Why it’s far departed from scripture? It’s far departed from the safeguard of the early church of a group of elders ruleing and the safeguard being the requirements to be an elder, and the other safeguard being unity in Christ as Christ is the head over the church yet the Catholic Church has made the pope their head saying he speaks for God. The third anathema of Cyril made dogma at Ephesus I is a good example to explain the difference. The third anathema states that the 2 hypostases came together to make one hypostasis, and that the union of composition is according to nature (kat physikin). In nonchalcedonian understanding, 2 hypostases (particular natures) ineffably united to make one composite nature (henosin kat physikin) without confusion, alteration, and division. The Chalcedonian position is that the hypostatic union is not a union of hypostases, because Chalcedonians equates hypostasis with person. Chalcedonians look at anathema three, and when they see the plural word for hypostases, they have a problem because they can’t say that there was a union of persons, as that would entail Nestorianism. So instead, the hypostatic union in Chalcedonianism is not a union of hypostases according to nature. In one metaphysical framework of Chalcedonianism, the hypostatic union is a divine hypostasis that took unto itself an enhypostatized human nature (something that would potentially entail change in the divine hypostasis, although they go to certain lengths to defend against the metaphysical conclusion of monophysitism). Nonchalcedonians hold to the dogma of Ephesus I, along Christological explanatory writings of St. Cyril that express miaphysite Christology such as post Formula of Reunion writings including his letters to Succensus I, Succensus II, Acacius, Eulogius, and Valerian, and his book, That Christ is One. Chalcedonians went on in future councils of theirs to express Christ in 2 natures, 2 wills, 2 activities, and 2 minds. Protestants however are schismatic heretics who divide the Body of Christ. But ALL of them, every single one, are welcome and invited to return to the *One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic* Church. We would welcome them with open arms.

Mary was a sinner like the rest of us. Favor doesn’t mean divinity. God favored Jacob over Esau, but Jacob was not divine. God favored Noah over the rest of his generation, but that didn’t make him divine. Anyone who takes the place of Jesus in our prayers or worship is by definition an idol. This is a violation of the Second Commandment. Catholics won’t know this because they removed the original second commandment. You cannot change The Law to suit your needs.

as a christian i have a question. how can jesus be 100% God and 100% human if in Matthew 24 it says not even the Son knows the hour? i saw a response that basically said He doesn't know because He humbled Himself as a human and therefore would know in heaven but that implies separation between Jesus' divine nature and His human nature.
It is a metaphor about a jewish tradition. When a couple got betrothed (actually trial marriage) they had to live separated for 1-2 years. During that period the groom had time to set up a room for her in his father's house. After he finished it, the father (head of the family) decided when the groom can go to pick up his girl. Meanwhile the bride had to wait for him with a lamp and keep fueling it with oil to keep the flame burning. Jesus called his church "the bride" and himself the groom. So one day he will return (2nd coming, end times) to pick her up and bring her to her father's house (paradise). In the parabel of the 10 virgins one half was prepared for the groom with extra oil for their lamps, the other half not. At night the groom came and picked the smart ones up and when the others knocked at his door he didn't let them in and said that he doesn't know them. It points out to the concept in Christianity that we have to build a relationship to god. To get prepared for him shows what will happen in the end times or just after you are already dead, there is no last minute repentance. That the groom came at night points out to another verse where Jesus talked about the end time and said he will come like a thief at night, when NOBODY expects him. So in both stories Jesus appeared at night. When Jesus talked about the paradise he said to his folks that the house of his father is huge with many rooms that he (Jesus) prepared for us. And then the father of the groom will decide when the time is right to pick up the bride (end times begin). Nobody but the father knows the hour points again to the fact that end time will start when nobody expects it. Jesus is prepared, the angels are prepared and the rooms are ready. Now they are waiting for the father's command. We only get signs as a sort of countdown. After they all got fullfilled it might go quick or they might be some time left. So don't listen to doomsday prophecies, they are always wrong. Many tried to calculate the date of the end of the world and they all failed! Everything we need to know is that Jesus will return and we should be ready for it.

@@Doe938 your god sure does. He admitted he had no knowledge regarding the time of the Last Hour (matthew 24:36) and couldn’t tell if a fig tree was in season or not (Mark 11:12-25). But of course you’ll chalk this up as his “human nature” overriding his “divine nature”, which in itself is another contradiction. How can his mortal aspect supersede the divine?

The Oriental Orthodox Churches adhere to a miaphysite Christological view followed by St. Cyril of Alexandria.

My understanding of Christ is that, since he is part of the trinity, he existed infinitely prior to following the Father’s will to come to earth as a human. Then, while he was on earth for 33 years, he had 2 natures: fully God and fully man. Then, when he rose from the dead, and ascended to heaven, he was once again only fully God, as there now was no longer a need for the human form.
That’s gnosticism, patrick. Jesus Human form completes us: it unites the created with The Non Created Creator, as states the Mystery of The Cosmos of Saint Maximus The Confessor.

It’s far departed from the safeguard of the early church of a group of elders ruleing and the safeguard being the requirements to be an elder, and the other safeguard being unity in Christ as Christ is the head over the church yet the Catholic Church has made the pope their head saying he speaks for God. The third anathema of Cyril made dogma at Ephesus I is a good example to explain the difference. The third anathema states that the 2 hypostases came together to make one hypostasis, and that the union of composition is according to nature (kat physikin). In nonchalcedonian understanding, 2 hypostases (particular natures) ineffably united to make one composite nature (henosin kat physikin) without confusion, alteration, and division. The Chalcedonian position is that the hypostatic union is not a union of hypostases, because Chalcedonians equates hypostasis with person. Chalcedonians look at anathema three, and when they see the plural word for hypostases, they have a problem because they can’t say that there was a union of persons, as that would entail Nestorianism. So instead, the hypostatic union in Chalcedonianism is not a union of hypostases according to nature. In one metaphysical framework of Chalcedonianism, the hypostatic union is a divine hypostasis that took unto itself an enhypostatized human nature (something that would potentially entail change in the divine hypostasis, although they go to certain lengths to defend against the metaphysical conclusion of monophysitism). Nonchalcedonians hold to the dogma of Ephesus I, along Christological explanatory writings of St. Cyril that express miaphysite Christology such as post Formula of Reunion writings including his letters to Succensus I, Succensus II, Acacius, Eulogius, and Valerian, and his book, That Christ is One. Chalcedonians went on in future councils of theirs to express Christ in 2 natures, 2 wills, 2 activities, and 2 minds. To elaborate, the answer is he is both Archbishop of Constantinople and Patriarch of the Patriarchate of Constantinople. The same logic applied to royal/noble titles as well. Duchess of "this town" AND emperor of "That Empire". You have multiple titles at different levels of governance.
Last thing to say, sacramentally, you don't really go higher than bishop, the laying on of hands. After that, all titles are administrative and of honour - a means of governing and organising the church. That's why for any council (kind of a sacrament in a sense, guided by the Holy Spirit) is really merely a council of bishops; rather than it is a council of a couple patriarchs, so many metropolitans, and many more bishops.

Protestants however are schismatic heretics who divide the Body of Christ. But ALL of them, every single one, are welcome and invited to return to the *One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic* Church. Mary was a sinner like the rest of us. Favor doesn’t mean divinity. God favored Jacob over Esau, but Jacob was not divine. God favored Noah over the rest of his generation, but that didn’t make him divine. Anyone who takes the place of Jesus in our prayers or worship is by definition an idol. This is a violation of the Second Commandment. Catholics won’t know this because they removed the original second commandment. You cannot change The Law to suit your needs.

i saw a response that basically said He doesn't know because He humbled Himself as a human and therefore would know in heaven but that implies separation between Jesus' divine nature and His human nature.

It is a metaphor about a jewish tradition. When a couple got betrothed (actually trial marriage) they had to live separated for 1-2 years. During that period the groom had time to set up a room for her in his father's house. After he finished it, the father (head of the family) decided when the groom can go to pick up his girl.
Meanwhile the bride had to wait for him with a lamp and keep fueling it with oil to keep the flame burning.
Jesus called his church "the bride" and himself the groom. So one day he will return (2nd coming, end times) to pick her up and bring her to her father's house (paradise).
In the parabel of the 10 virgins one half was prepared for the groom with extra oil for their lamps, the other half not. At night the groom came and picked the smart ones up and when the others knocked at his door he didn't let them in and said that he doesn't know them. It points out to the concept in Christianity that we have to build a relationship to god. To get prepared for him shows what will happen in the end times or just after you are already dead, there is no last minute repentance. That the groom came at night points out to another verse where Jesus talked about the end time and said he will come like a thief at night, when NOBODY expects him. So in both stories Jesus appeared at night.
When Jesus talked about the paradise he said to his folks that the house of his father is huge with many rooms that he (Jesus) prepared for us.
And then the father of the groom will decide when the time is right to pick up the bride (end times begin). Nobody but the father knows the hour points again to the fact that end time will start when nobody expects it.
Jesus is prepared, the angels are prepared and the rooms are ready. Now they are waiting for the father's command. We only get signs as a sort of countdown. After they all got fullfilled it might go quick or they might be some time left. So don't listen to doomsday prophecies, they are always wrong. Many tried to calculate the date of the end of the world and they all failed!
Everything we need to know is that Jesus will return and we should be ready for it.

@@Doe938 your god sure does. He admitted he had no knowledge regarding the time of the Last Hour (matthew 24:36) and couldn’t tell if a fig tree was in season or not (Mark 11:12-25). But of course you’ll chalk this up as his “human nature” overriding his “divine nature”, which in itself is another contradiction. How can his mortal aspect supersede the divine?
