Hello, I’m a native American and have a little correction about the Native American Church. The NAC is fundamentally a christian practice, each tribe has their own practice and altar style within this but it’s Christian nonetheless. There is a bible placed on most altars and they pray and sing to god and Jesus Christ. The biggest difference with this church beyond the small ceremonial differences that vary from tribe to tribe is that Peyote (small, spineless cactus that contains a hallucinogenic compound called mescaline) is viewed and used as a holy sacrament. My tribe has two denominations of NAC: Half Moon and Cross Fire. Half Moon is more traditional and Cross Fire is more bible driven but both are still Christian. My tribe also retains our old traditions and beliefs as well but I just had to put in a tidbit about the NAC. Thanks and I enjoyed the video ❤️

Im 34 years old, raised on Christian values (Lutheran, specifically), but never been a church-goer. I've always wanted to read the bible. I've made attempts in the past, but I have never made it all the way through. I'm at another point in life where I am giving the bible a shot, but 3/4 of the way through Genesis, I have come to the realization that I struggle with Christianity. I want to find what religion I am in line with the most as I do believe in a higher power, whether that is a god/deity/spirituality/or just the universe working miraculous wonders. I've always felt amazing connections with nature, animals, and especially the universe. What I find super interesting watching this video is that I might be best connected and in line with the Native American Spirituality. Why it is interesting to me is because, for one, I have never explored that side of religion and two, most of my ethnical background is Native American. Nice summary! Although it would’ve been cool to hear some examples of Native American religions, you still did great and I learnt quite a bit about religions I was unfamiliar with.

If you plan on doing this a series, could you make a focus in different african religions as well? Honestly I was expecting to see at least Yoruba next after Camdomblé. I think you can also make a bigger focus on American religions, as some are very much structured than plain animism. Not only native ones but more recent ones like Santería, and the worship to Santa Muerte.

Im 34 years old, raised on Christian values (Lutheran, specifically), but never been a church-goer. I've always wanted to read the bible. I've made attempts in the past, but I have never made it all the way through.
I'm at another point in life where I am giving the bible a shot, but 3/4 of the way through Genesis, I have come to the realization that I struggle with Christianity.
I want to find what religion I am in line with the most as I do believe in a higher power, whether that is a god/deity/spirituality/or just the universe working miraculous wonders. I've always felt amazing connections with nature, animals, and especially the universe.
What I find super interesting watching this video is that I might be best connected and in line with the Native American Spirituality. Why it is interesting to me is because, for one, I have never explored that side of religion and two, most of my ethnical background is Native American.
I think it's about time I take a deeper look into my roots and find a solid connection. Thanks for the video!

The story of religions through the history of humans was started after Adam (the first prophet) and his wife hawa landed on earth, they had the correct belief which is believing in one god one creator who only deserves the worship...after that, people - their ancestors - grew and increased and they started to have wrong and different beliefs like worshipping the idols so that god glory be to him start sending the messengers and prophets to guide humans to the right path over the time and all around the world and he sent with some of them the holy books such as the Torah, the Bible and the Quran.
So all the prophets peace be upon them like Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob/Israel, Joseph, Moses, JESUS, David, Solomon and Mohammed... have one message which is "ONLY BELIEVE AND WORSHIP ONE GOD (ALLAH) And do not associate anything with Him", and the differences is only in the laws of religions, such as acts of worship and rulings... .
At the end of the world all humans will be resurrected on the Last Day the day of judgement to be held accountable for what they did in life. Then those who believed and did righteous deeds will go to Paradise, and those who disbelieve and forget God will go to Hell in the infinity Life.
If you plan on doing this a series, could you make a focus in different african religions as well? Honestly I was expecting to see at least Yoruba next after Camdomblé. I think you can also make a bigger focus on American religions, as some are very much structured than plain animism. Not only native ones but more recent ones like Santería, and the worship to Santa Muerte.
You missed the many European Pagan religions such as Greek, Celtic, Egyptian, Norse, Wicca, Druidism, Slavic etc.
