If had O2 sensors in the cats it would throw the CEL. O2 sensors do help a car run better but slightly. It’s pretty much fine without them. At least I have one in my cat on my 03 Acura. With 318k miles lol. Looking at a 2016 ScatPack 392 with a hellcat supercharger.
All they’re for is for emissions purposes they just monitor certain gasses from the exhaust because “car makes pollution”. I’m not a mechanic but I’ve learned some things
