@@bigpopa1971 you have 3 options whenever you lease a car. when the lease is over, you can return the vehicle & walk away with nothing. 2, you can sell the car & collect the $$ or you can trade it (like i did) for another. 3, when you lease you have the option to keep the car but you just pay for it for a longer term basically. the lease gives you a cheaper payment.
Your videos are extremely well thought out and put together. I appreciate the candor and common sense approach. Great job on keeping it real and practical!
Leasing or financing a hellcat under a business name is the way to go because you can write off everything on the car at the end of the year with your taxes.
In new york a full tank costs about $70.00. Insurance for anything rt and above is $450.00 or over. Owning a hellcat in nyc is ridiculously expensive. This don’t even factor in monthly payments, which in NY is also ridiculous

In this economy buying new is worth it because used are selling for close to the same if not more; you sound like you bought from a private buyer because you're familiar with the history of the vehicle. May want to consider getting a Tesla as a daily and buying Tesla insurance and driving it conservatively. I'm doing that and monthly payments per vehicle doesn't matter what vehicle, your age, or anything it's around 70$ per any vehicle for full coverage. As long as you drive safe in the Tesla you can basically cover a hellcat on your policy for 70$ and drive it how ever you want
There is no way in living hell I would pay $1200+ for a care note payment even If I could afford it. It's a waste of money going into nothing that appreciates in value. Throwing good money at bad. If the car was sitting in a garage not being driving regularly and remained in pristine condition, maybe it would have some appreciation years and years later, but that's to be determined. It's not a famous painting that has an appreciated value and climbing. Even right now with the interest rate and inflation situation, you could easily be looking at a well over an $800 payment with good credit for a basic car. While I look some of the new Muscle cars including the Mustang 2024, there is no way in living hell I would trade in my existing Muscle for a new one with these prices and BS dealer markups. As far as I am concerned, the dealers who pull this markup game can go under in the end. Repos as of July 2023 are up to 20K nationwide for just that month.
My 2021 scatpack widebody gas ⛽️ at $4.69 gallon with a 17 gallon tank am paying $84 dollars now to fill up now because so high right now I know you paying over a hundred in gas to fill up
Maaan, I stay in LA. I had a custom made from the factory, a 2020 scatpack widebody, exactly how I wanted it. I was daily driving it. Now, I put 14k down for the down-payment and my monthly was like $675. But since I was daily driving it, I was spending around $1100 or sometimes $1200 on GAS ALONE. that's not including insurance, and maintenance that my Scat needed, new brakes & rotors like 4k (all 4 corners). I was spending more on gas than the actual monthly payment on my car. I never complained about it cuz I enjoyed driving my Scat and I make enough money for it. Just recently, my Scat was stolen 2 month ago. Luckily my car was fully covered, my insurance cut me a check for 60k 🎉😁 I wanted a fast car but more easy on "filling it up". Long story short, I ended up getting a Tesla Model Y Performance 😎 It has more space for my son and me, the charger cost from 20% - 100% like $13 😂 my monthly payments is like $460. I've raced hellcats, camaros ZL1, and other random cars, from a dead stop at the light AND on a roll on the freeway and its no competition lol my model y performance cooks all of them lol AND since I live in Cali, and because it's an electronic vehicle, I get a $7500 federal tax credit and on TOP of that, a California incentive of $2000 🎉😎 so, I get $9500 back just cuz I get this car lol it all worked out for the best in my case lmao thanks to whoever stoled my Scatpack 😂LMAO
@RUclipsDislikesConservativeidk my dude, I loved my Scatpack widebody. But, it's old technology now. My Tesla beats my Scatpack widebody in every aspect, except in style & character. Everything else, it beats it. My dude, how would u feel if you pulled up beside me, in my model y performance, with your LOUD V8 (which only SOUNDS good) just to get beat by me, with groceries in my car coming back from Vons, and with only 1 hand on the steering wheel, texting my girl on the other hand "hey baby, what do u want to eat tonight?" While you're struggling to keep up with me? LMAO 🤣 How would u feel? Lmao
Saying and doing it are two different things in a criminal court where the burden of proof is high. However, in a civil court, admitting to this level of reckless driving is a financial liability. If you ever have an accident in that car. whether it was technically your fault or not, they're going to play this video to the jury. That Hellcat is going to cost you much more than you ever dreamed if that ever happens.
If anyone is worried about the gas and oil costs of a Hellcat u def can't afford the car! 😂 MPG? Who gives a sh*t! It's smiles per gallon for me... Love it when he says he turns into something else behind the wheel of a Charger Hellcat! Jekyll and Hyde right there! Thanks 360!!!!
WHATS EVEN MORE SURPRISING: the interest amount, if you carry the loan for the full 7, 8 years without paying it down sooner (which means youd be paying more monthly) it's like 20-30 k in interest. WOW ANOTHER THING: what about yearly car tax that you have to pay " just for owning" - - that's another couple grand each year. Divide that amount by 12 months. $950 goes towards the actual price the other $250 is interest monthly...for the next 8 LONG YEARS
Looking back at it i could of got a hellcat for how much I've put into my modified 5.7 Daytona. Purchased the car brand new from the dealership. Current prices are crazy and i ended up moving from the Midwest to PNW and the rent/housing market here is ridiculously high. I make good money on the raildroad but I'll settle for my Daytona and just boost it.
Great information. Also remember that most states also have some form of license tag renewal, and that can also get pricey based on the valve of the vehicle.
I have a 2021 dodge challenger widebody hellcat red eye with 13k miles I had it for almost a month now the asking price was $84k but after all the negotiations I got it for $74000 out the door I put $16000 down with a 9.2 interest rate with a monthly car payment of $1217 a month with the taxes, tags and title fees it drove the price back up. Full coverage insurance I pay $577 per month currently. When I first got a quote for insurance for a regular hellcat it was just $388 per month and I’m 35 when I got a quote for the hellcat red eye they had the quote higher and the insurance companies don’t call the red eye hellcat a hellcat in there system. I don’t drive it a lot but hear where I live on the east coast premium gas is about 5.11 to 5.30 per gallon and on a empty tank the car rounds out to be $74 to $79 on a fill up
My hellcat is my daily. Guess I'm stupid, lol. $1,500 includes insurance. I could afford much, much more, but I choose to keep my debt on the low end of what I can afford so I can invest in assets instead of spend on liabilities.

I would like to get a Challenger Redeye and pay cash for it, I wouldn’t be daily driving it under any scenario since I don’t want to add miles in a car that I’ll be keeping for a very very long time. My current nice and fun to drive car is filled about once a month, sometimes even longer than that.
Edmunds says the true cost to own is just over $2,000 a month (for the first 5 years). My local dealer has a new Hellcat and they're asking $83,412 for it. Most financial advisers will tell you your car should cost no more than 1/2 your annual salary. Unless you're making $14,000 a month, a Hellcat is not something you need.

Also pirelli's are not the best especially all-seasons. Most Hellcats that lose races lose because of the tires. Spend the extra to get something sticky. And if you really really need all-seaons get some Continental DWS06+. But I say stay on summers and park it if the weather is super cold and wet if you are in the south.

The price difference isn't worth it. You throw a 392 in sport or track its plenty of power. I'm glad I just went with the scat pack wide body overall. But.... You have to get the wide body or your talking a completely different looking vehicle. Those little 275's instead of 305. It all depends on your credit. Going to be a he'll of a lot cheaper with good credit. My 2021 mustang gt was 40 and after tax 44. I had negative equity so after they added that on it was 52 ish. Currently at 913 a month. Factoring in gas I’d say 1150-1200. Still has ford gold warranty so brakes etc are covered for another 14k miles lol.
How down payment did you put on the house ?
This is crazy of people is paying this much for a car.. not worth it
i ordered my 2022 hellcat in april of 22 & got it in August. leased it and my payment was at $671 a month. traded my 21 scat pack in with positive equity. after everything my “down payment” came out to $14000 rounded up. i got a great deal.
great deal right there 😮💨
traded my 2021 scat pack charger for 2022 hellcat charger **
Are you saying you traded in a car you were financing with positive equity for a leased car that you're not going to own when the lease is over?
@@bigpopa1971 you have 3 options whenever you lease a car. when the lease is over, you can return the vehicle & walk away with nothing. 2, you can sell the car & collect the $$ or you can trade it (like i did) for another. 3, when you lease you have the option to keep the car but you just pay for it for a longer term basically. the lease gives you a cheaper payment.
@@bigpopa1971i was thinking that too
1,200 a month is insane😳🤯
Probably more than that depending on how much you put up front
That’s not high at all.

If you can’t save the money for a decent down payment, then you can’t afford the car. Save up, buy a used Hellcat in a couple of years and save a ton of money.
A used Hellcat? In this era of drivers? Lol I'd rather get the Banshee
You mean well but you don't buy a used Hellcat or Scatpack. I'd rather not take the chance.
Very true. It would be hard to get a Hellcat that’s not abused.
@@RARochesterI bought a used Scatpack with 1 owner it was a 2020 and it was well taken care of not everyone dogs these cars out. He never even did a burnout in it and I don’t plan on ever doing one either. I never thought I would ever own anything this nice and I will more than happily replace anything that fails because I never plan on getting rid of it. I know there will never be another vehicle that will bring me as much joy as this one has. I am going to eventually build all the internals until it’s supercharger safe and I will be flatlining hellcats and still will have saved over 30k rather than buying a hellcat. Also Built = Better and cooler than bought. If you love something enough you will do whatever it takes to make it last and take care of it. I highly recommend buying used I got mine fully loaded for 40k and if I would have bought this same scatpack as a 2023 new it would have been almost double the price
@@4doorsmorewhores630 Why are you chasing me down ? It's my opinion to not take the chance; you got lucky and good for you. I'd rather buy brand new because as the original owner the Lemon Law is in effect and I work too hard to buy anything used; I'd rather wait and buy brand new.
In this economy buying new is worth it because used are selling for close to the same if not more; you sound like you bought from a private buyer because you're familiar with the history of the vehicle.
I special ordered my 2021 Challenger WB and it was the best decision for me; you bought used and it was the best decision for you. My post still stands because generally speaking these cars do get abused. BTW, don't kid yourself; you ain't flatlining ANY Hellcat especially the Redeye no matter what you do.......I've gone up against one and it's a COMPLETELY different animal.
Great info, thanks
Luckily my car was fully covered, my insurance cut me a check for 60k 🎉😁
I wanted a fast car but more easy on "filling it up". Long story short, I ended up getting a Tesla Model Y Performance 😎
It has more space for my son and me, the charger cost from 20% - 100% like $13 😂 my monthly payments is like $460.
By the way, the reason why my monthly payments are low, is because I out down 35k down for my tesla model y performance 😎👍
Smart man
Your a Tesla fanboy now make sure you pull your pinky out when you drink soda
If I end up in Cali again I’d probably go that same route if they’re paying that much as insensitive. Why doesn’t everyone own electric there lmao

Monthly cost of owning cheap mark up price JUNK =Dodge/Fiat
If anyone is worried about the gas and oil costs of a Hellcat u def can't afford the car! 😂
MPG? Who gives a sh*t! It's smiles per gallon for me...
Love it when he says he turns into something else behind the wheel of a Charger Hellcat! Jekyll and Hyde right there!
Thanks 360!!!!
Bingo. Smiles per gallon. Compliments per gallon. Head turns per gallon. "Rev it" per gallon.
If u can’t afford the price of a Scat or Cat then don’t buy one.. It’s just that simple.. 💯
What do you mean by that ? 🤔🤔 I don’t have one but I’m tryna get one
WHATS EVEN MORE SURPRISING: the interest amount, if you carry the loan for the full 7, 8 years without paying it down sooner (which means youd be paying more monthly) it's like 20-30 k in interest. WOW
ANOTHER THING: what about yearly car tax that you have to pay " just for owning" - - that's another couple grand each year.
Alot of people sleep on us RT owners. If they only knew 🤫
1200 ha if you finance 84 months on a 88k car more like1700 with these interest rates
Not to mention the car depreciates soon as you leave the lot, despite what these dealers are saying 🤦🏿♂️

Glad I got my scat when I did. No more payment at this point
Couple days ago I checked out the lease in Southern California for brand new hellcat and they're asking for over 1200 a month with 16 K down!!!
I wonder how much he makes annually? Depending on that then the monthly is either outrageously silly or a non issue if you can afford it
RUclips covers it makes sense for his channel
😮 Oooh, my goodness!! Chrysler should be ashamed of themselves, but this wouldn't happen if they had competition price. It wouldn't be so high, but i take my hat off to you, sir, for being very honest with people..

But you got greedy & now your here....& Your channel is going to flatten out with this lil bit of content. Then your going to have to bring something new like different to the channel then what.?cause you literally just bought that.

Great video. I had a scat and this is definitely on the cheaper end. Expect north of $500 if you have it as a daily driver.

My insurance is 165 a month. the hellcat ran about 1200 a month. Mine is a daily driver but I work less than 1 mile from home. Only have 1300 miles on it. To be honest the 392 is plenty power.
