He was most likely out around people bragging about how his car has that new security system, and nobody was going to be able to steal his car like the older models. Someone was like, "Oh yeah, hold my beer! "

It you buy a vehicle where the name is literally "hell cat" & "demon" what do you expect? You will attract demons & catch hell! The sad part is, people overpay to have these problems!
It be the Dodge repair techs that are out here doing it. They have all the information they need to do the job.
So they used a pick tool to get in the vent. The pick allows the person to lift the hooking tab up and a good tug on the wiring harness and push the other end with the pick and boom. As a former mechanic in the Army, I use this method to this day on my cars.

I've been around calls a long time and when you got this many cars getting broke into and you got people with this vast knowledge you better believe somebody on the other side is leaking information out to the thieves and they're getting paid for it

While thieves are stealing other people Hellcats, Demons & Scatpaks.....dealerships have tons and tons of them type of cars just collecting dust cause they can't get anybody to buy from the price their selling them.
maybe a way to get around is the rewire it yourself longer or ziptie it to a unreachable spot
When you have a hellcat you gotta have a fuel shutoff valve where only you know how to open the valve to turn the fuel pump on and then you wire in a battery Shutoff , then you mount flame throwers that fry the person if don't put in a code fast enough haha . And keep your pitbull in the back seat with you all the time and pew pew on the hip . 😂
If that doesn't work then you should activate the remote self destruct device similar to the one seen in "Predator".
or just open the fuse box, pull out the fuel pump fuse and take the fuse in the house with you
@@madwestboy that's to easy they sell fuses at the store I have hundreds of them . With a fuel shutoff valve and battery switch like a race car wired in nicely you are good unless they savages that need offed and push it down the road
@@cupwalker24.7 well... if thieves are trying to steal a mopar will not expect to have the fuel pump fuse removed. They will be scratching their head wondering why they car isn't starting. Unless they come prepared with a fuel pump fuse lol
I have a 2007 rt Daytona sublime, loud exhaust with a Diablo tune. I don't think people are stealing these old chargers but I still take caution
@@madwestboy yeah the best thing to do is to not make a entire RUclips channel bragging about your 100,000 hellcat on a loan and just hide and guard and enjoy it for yourself if it's that special. They have hardly any horsepower compared to a diesel truck so I don't know why everyone is stealing them 😂

[ HORN WIRE: ] [ Metal Conduit Time❗] Disabled the horn wire, didn't disable the security system (only the noise/horn). Broke window. '22/'23 detects intrusion & glass breakage. Vehicle is in alarm mode so it would not allow new key programming via the star connector? They got spooked for time and split?

They chipped the car but also made sure the alarm can be overridden if it’s reconnected. It’s new age to make the theft all digital when they come back

My scat was broken into two months just lost my job when it happen hardly me battery was going bad so when they couldn’t start it thx to me not doing maintenance but I live in the nicest part of Houston so for this to happen in front of cameras is wild to me
I gave up on wanted anything mopar its not worth it at all .. the only thing i would probably look at is a chrysler 300c that still has a chance of being stolen.. but a scatpack or hellcat im good too expensive to keep just to be at risk on the daily
They didn’t disable the alarm, just the wire to the horn. They didn’t have enough time to create a new key, but they wouldn’t have been able to create a new one anyway.

My biggest problem is I purchased a pre stage kit and a stage 1 kit for my Hellcat and have the same issue of the alternator over charging as you had what up? You really dropped the ball what is the fix?
True. Even though I don't have a hellcat we have compustar on all our vehicles. Even our 07 Modified Grand Caravan has compustar, with the sensors and the whole 9 yards as well as our supecharged audi q7. Soon i gotta get a system configured for my dads 1969 camaro. Its every day theifs are finding new ways to break into cars. Thanks for the video!
That security that they put on those cars suck as you can see that it does not work. I keep my car inside of my garage. We actually have two.
Actually the reason they probably didn’t get anything cause stealing the car was the intention but wasn’t able reprogram the key fob so they blew it off.
This not new. When I lived in Houston I had a 21 Hellcat Charger & they did the same thing. This was like 2 years ago.
If they knew that much about the alarm system wiring, certainly somebody has knowledge about it. Nothing surprises me when it comes to Mopar criminals. I brought a 2022 Scat in December of that yr. The salesman was claiming this new alarm was amazing. I don't think anyone tried stealing it. I never heard the alarm. The charger shine wore off 11 months later. I got rid of it, honestly I do miss the sound.

Tbh this sounds like someone who knew the owner of this vehicle. Knew the owner and the owner probably had something that they wanted. Explains how they knew exactly where the alarm wires were and why they didnt steal wallet or even the gun. Its like they were looking for something very specific

When you some deep pockets, work on cars and know the cars you worked on. Whoever did this definitely had time on their hands
The chargers are not worth the stress.
They have become old, boring, and stressful to own.
This is a HUGE reason they are not selling.
Also, because the money they are asking for them doesn't justify the issues I listed above .
I had a situation where someone broke into my r/T by stealing the fob signal and I had my wallet and a pretty expensive chain that had fell out my pocket into the car the day before and they didn’t stealing anything they just went through my glove box and console

CARLOCK I.D. with Vibration sensors Would have definitely helped in this situation along with the enhanced security… only thing they did was disconnect horn from what others that have experienced are saying …

Doesn't have to be a T12 or T13 most compustar systems have the same features. What sets the T12 & T13 apart is only a few features like proximity unlock, the distance your remote will work & etc but its your job to do the research because the installers wont tell the difference their going to offer you that T12/13 & hope you dont ask questions 😂.

They tried to steal mine like this twice out of the parking lot at work in broad daylight. But I also have a aftermarket alarm system on there. So after they cut the horn wire and tried to break the window. My aftermarket alarm still went off and they drove off. Plus I got a steering wheel lock and a kill switch on it.
Those thieves already practice on one of those cars that’s probably not the first car they hit up. That’s how they know where to go. That’s why you gotta keep your car inside of a garage. You cannot keep that car outside. I don’t understand why people don’t keep the car inside those hellcats scat packs that’s what they after, you have to keep those calls in the garage at the way. It’s gotta be if you want to keep your car because they’re not gonna stop bro.

I put glass in cars and I just did a job today on a Scat Pack they did the same exact thing they snipped the two front horns attempted to break into the passenger side vent glass busted that one went around and busted the driver rear door and this was in the Oakland area
If that’s the actual alarm Dodge installed may have kept the theft of the vehicle if this story is legit
