First time I heard this I openly wept at the sound of Doreen's clarinet... Then I went and got one because she made me fully realize the versatility of her instrument. I play guitar, sax in high school and I make my own flutes and play them but the amount of soul coming from her clarinet touched me in a way none of my own instruments do, so I'm learning a new one :).
I wish I had a musical ear. Music is the one thing that helps me move in my head. I am so glad you are using your gift. Hopefully, I will hear you one day!

We were lucky enough to see you in 2003 in New Orleans playing on the street in the French Quarter. We loved your music so much that I was inspired some time later to paint a watercolor of you playing the clarinet. My husband also wrote a poem to accompany it and we entered it into an art show in Florida. You are amazing!

The overtones that she achieve on the clarinet is just out of this world, I didn't even knew it was possible. Doreen Ketchens is the most refreshing thing I have listened to in my whole 6 years of life. What a gem. Meowsome!!!
